They are professional lawyers who work with the IRS system and I am so happy they are honest and had my issues worked out for me. Excellent Company. I highly recommend them. Jul 17,2024I have been dealing with Community Tax since Dec.14, 2021, and it took them till 03/22/2024 to negotiate a hardship with IRS on my behalf and put my delinquent taxes on hold. IRS also filed Tax lien, so I received 30 calls a day and 100 letters in the mail from tax accountants and other companies specializing in negotiations with IRS. They were all shocoked that Community Tax was working with me for over 2 years and was not able to negotiate down the tax payments. I am getting letters from IRS constantly as well asking them to pay my deliquenet taxes from 2016, which was supposed to be in a Currently Non Collective Status. I paid Community Tax $10K plus $3K in interest and money would be better spent if I would be just paying back my taxes and not relying on supposed to be "professionals" from Community Tax. This is a big SCAM. PLEASE STAY AWAY from Community Tax.

Jun 14,2024I hired Community Tax to negotiate a lower monthly payment for my settlement agreement with the IRD. They ended up getting my payment increased another $300. I was already paying them nearly $400/month for their services. If I wanted my monthly payments to increase, I certainly did not need to pay someone to make that happen. I'm sure the IRS would have been happy to accept any additional amount I was willing to pay. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ENGAGING COMMUNITY TAX

Mar 07,2024If I could do ZERO I would! If you have more than 2 years back taxes…oh my god! You will have about 5 ppl to deal with. Know one knows what the other is doing! And after every 1000’s calls…they say “call us back if you have more questions”… a week to get a call back. They also do not help with State taxes! They don’t tell you that! There shady system is too send in a very very low resolution —as low as $10.00 to pay a $20k debt…..to pay for 10 years….YES!!! They want to drag your back taxes on and until the 10 year statue of limits drop off. And they are unbelievably unbelievably over priced and expensive!!! Please do not use this service!!!!! We began with them over a year ago and they just told me the resolution they presented to the IRS was declined! In the meantime, the State froze our account! Terrible service. Basically we paid over $5000 to get our back taxes done, amounting to approximately $1000 for each year. March 2024 Update: I would like to mention Mr. Marco Jacome, he is the Customer Service Rep with CommTaxes. He listened patiently to my concerns and made a few adjustments to help me out. I will recommend that if you decide to use this service, which I still do not recommend, please reach out to him IMMEDIATELY. with your concerns. Thank you Marco! I wish he owned his own Tax Company because he is awesome!!!

Feb 15,2024Years back I lost confidence with agencies that profess to help clear or reduce the IRS debt, resulting in fees I paid and no resolutions. But I decided not to loose faith and allow “Community Tax” to take care over $140,000.00 I owed for back taxes. It took a while for Community Tax to work towards a goal to reduce or, do I dare say, eliminate the debt. In the meantime they protected me with power of attorney and put together my recent yearly income taxes. Finally it came down to the resolution. They eliminated my debt in full thru a Federal hardship plan. I and my family would like to thank Community Tax for giving us a future without worries. Thanks Again

Feb 02,2024Not happy with this company at all ! My husband passed away almost a year ago and we owed back taxes that I was not aware of. I do take responsibility for his debt. I reached out to them and was told they could help me....for $5,000, of course. I could not afford to pay the IRS in full so I trusted them to help find a solution. After almost a year of trying to communicate with them, there was no solution other than to pay a ridiculous amount each month (on a now single income) in a short period of time, take from my 401K or to put a lien on my house which is paid for but needing to downsize and sale and they would take the money out of the sale. Would not even give a discount or waive some of the late charges and fees. I should have talked straight to the IRS. I feel as though they took advantage of and mislead someone who just lost her husband. Basically, I got nothing for $5,000. I even tried to get a portion back and it was a NO.

Jan 13,2024I'm a little late with my review, but this company are nice people. I give them a 1 star. I paid them 10,000 to get my back taxes ready for me because I hadn't filed for 10 years. They did do that and filed them for me. I was trying to settle with the IRS and they sent a letter of compromise to them. Well, they came to me and said they have a payment plan for me that the IRS will accept. I was thinking from what I was told before I used their services, it was going to be a good deal for me. Let me tell you I was wrong. They called me and told me that the payment would be 1800 a month for 72 months. I almost fell out of my chair. I wasn't going to pay them 1800 a month, I could have done that myself. The IRS cut my bill to a quarter of what I owed, To make a long story short, wouldn't use this company if you owe a large amount of money. You will come out better dealing with the IRS yourself, like I did. I paid them off 3 months ago, I don't owe anything to them. You need to call the IRS yourself and work something out before you waste 1000's like I did for nothing. They did give me back 1000 dollars out of 10,000( What a nice Jester)(EYE BALLS ROLLING IN HEAD) Take it from me I PAID THE PRICE

Everyone that answered the phone was very knowledgeable about my case. So I want to thank the great team I had working on my case.
