Dec 05,2023I hired Community Tax to help me with a IRS problem. They told me they could lower what I owe or get me into a program where the irs would consider me uncollected able. First they wanted me to pay them upfront ( which was a mistake) It took them over a year and about 4 different people helping me. They did me 2020 taxes without asking about deductions or anything. I went from owning the Irs 5000$ to 31000$ . They filed me taxes without me ever having seen it. They worked out a deal with the Irs. It did not save me any money. The deal was worse that what I could have done on my own. The deal they had worked out was 555$ a month for 10 years. Plus I still have to pay penalty and interest every year. Which will drag it out another 6-7 years. They do not care what the outcome of the case is because I already paid them. They also signed the deal with the IRS not me. I had never signed the documents. I was very surprised when I saw that first deduction automatically withdrawn from my bank account. I never authorized that either. I’m going to have my 2020 taxes amended. Then I going to see what legal action I can take for them signing documents with out my knowledge. All I want is for them to return the money I paid them. Beware ,Beware Beware. They are crooks.

Oct 16,2023Teri Pepitone Wilson was so clear, calm and succinct. She explained a very troubling situation in a way that kept me calm. It was an extremely difficult situation for me and she kept me calm. She communicated throughout her efforts to find answers in a timely manner. She never sugarcoated, but again the fact that she was calm and clear, made it much easier for me to approach the situation without feeling overwhelmed, or being treated in a dismissive manner. Her kindness might mean little to someone else but to me, it meant the world.

Oct 13,2023Courtesy and Professionalism is how I would best describe my experience with Community Tax. So far, I have had a very positive experience with Community Tax staff. Beginning with my first encounter with Thurston White. He was very courteous, friendly and professional. He put me at ease from the very beginning. Then, I had the pleasure of speaking with Audrey Rizzo. Once again, I felt at ease. During our conversation, Ms.Rizzo took the time to explain to me in detail the process she and her team would be using to resolve my tax problem with the IRS. I finally feel that I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that someone will be working on my behalf to help ensure that the IRS keeps its promises, and does not renege on its installment agreement for a third time. All of them have been courteous, knowledgeable and dedicated to making the solutions to my current tax problem easy to understand. Today I spoke with my new case manager, Audrey Rizzo, for about 45 minutes. She spelled out the next steps in my effort to reach an agreement with the IRS. She was courteous, clear and took pains to make sure I understood everything. I feel like I have a plan going forward and I know what to expect. Thank you Audrey.
