Dec 29,2021PROS - The salesperson who came for the initial visit was knowledgeable and not at all pushy which I very much appreciated. - I was quoted a decent price for x4 large windows, a small window and composite door - Every time I called the main telephone number, the staff in the office who initially took the calls were friendly, professional and helpful. - The Installation team who came were great – hardworking, friendly, professional, clean and tidy. The day of installation was a long and hard one for them, however they still left with a smile on their faces. - There were a few issues with the installation, however this was quickly rectified with a follow up visit within 24 hours of the issues being reported. CONS - I was advised by the surveyor that I would be given a date of installation by a certain date, but this did not happen and I had to call numerous times over a 2 week period, as the planning team failed to return my calls. When I did finally speak with them, they said they were waiting on information from myself, which was not correct. I also fail to understand why it took them so long to return my call to tell me this. - My first installation date was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. - The second installation date came with further issues – the team were supposed to arrive between 8am – 10am. At 10.20am I called the office asking where the team were – I was advised the teams were running an hour late (I would have appreciated a courtesy call to advise me of this, rather than having to call them to find this out). When one team arrived (2 people) they raised concerns regarding the limited time they now had to complete the work, due to the size of the job. They were sent to a job before mine by management, but was very confused as to why, considering it was stipulated on all paperwork my job required a full day and a team of 4. No work was carried out that day which meant I was now out of pocket from job earnings, as I would have to take a further unplanned unpaid leave day from work to accommodate. - I was given a new installation date for the following week and the work was carried out. When I raised that I was now out of pocket due to the fault of the company, this was dismissed by both the Installation Manager and Senior Installation Manager. Overall there was some positives as highlighted above. If the installation date was only rescheduled once, along with lack of follow up calls, that would have been somewhat ‘ok’. However, as I am now out of pocket due to company incompetence, along with the dismissal from management to give any compensation for this at all, I would not recommend Coral Windows to others, nor would I use them again.

Dec 04,2021This review is not about work carried out but is relevant to this company. This evening I happened to be driving behind two young men driving a Coral van in Pontefract. A young woman and an older man were in trouble on the opposite side of the road and were clearly struggling to push a car up the hill with a long queue of cars behind them. The Coral lads stopped their van (at a suitably safe place) and ran over to help them. I’m impressed and find it very heart warming that they were so ready to help. I rang Coral and spoke to Paul at their Bradford office to pass on my thanks. Paul was very helpful and I told him that I was very impressed with the ethics of the company, these guys obviously felt comfortable enough in their work to help out when the need arose and shows a generous attitude and awareness of others. Great attributes in any business, especially these days. I will definitely call Coral for a quote when I need some work doing at my home. Great work lads,

Nov 08,2021We trusted Coral with building us a new Conservatory some years ago. We also purchased a new front Door fitted by Coral. At the time of Building our Conservatory I would have written a very positive Review. NOT NOW ! We have had to call Coral back 3 Times now to repair a water leak in our Conservatory - it still leaks despite assurances that “it should be fine now !”. We now are expecting (Hoping) that Coral arrive soon, as promised, but we have had to wait weeks and weeks because the Coral staff were “so busy” ???? We purchased from Coral based on the Sales pitch and praises for the Coral owner, John Volente ???? Very poor Customer Service ! Never again will we trust Coral ! Geoff Burrow, Castleford.

Nov 05,2021I had triple glazed windows installed into my property 3 years ago - do not understand why more people do not go for this option. I was very lucky I turned up at the main office in Bradford, with no salesman available the OWNER John Valente came to our rescue and spent 2 hours of his very valuable time with us and stood by everything he agreed to. John is a very nice, genuine man and I feel very grateful to have met and dealt with him and his company this is something I have never forgot nor ever will - I recommend this company to everyone and the Windows and Doors I had installed are great value for money. Other local Yorkshire Company's should aspire to be as good a business man as John Valente and we would all be happy 100% of the time. Many Thanks - your service is outstanding.

Oct 28,2021Just had our composite front door fitted - it is superb. We selected Coral after trying several other companies. The reasons we chose coral: 1. Showroom local to see examples 2. Price competitive (but not cheapest) 3. Family member had heard many good reports. 4. No money paid until job comlete 5. Had to wait 5 months from order to fitting - indicates not cheap cowboys! Minor problems with original quote but resolved by second sales visit. Detailed examination by surveyor to ensure door and frame details were correct. Communication from point of order to day of fitting was excellent. Fitters did good job, cleaned up after themselves.

Oct 28,2021We had some replacement windows done this week and we are very happy with them. The fitters were polite and worked well even tho I thought they would be fitting the windows over 2 days only to be told they were going to get then completed in the one day I panicked as I hadn’t taken curtain/blind fittings down, thankfully the fitters sorted it out for me, they were extremely helpful. Overall the windows are great I’m really impressed, a little bit more communication would have helped but it wouldn’t put me off recommending Coral Windows.

Oct 12,2021We chose Coral to replace our windows because they're a well-established company with a good reputation who had exactly the type of window we wanted, so we didn't bother to shop around on price. The results exceeded our expectations - they are well constructed and were fitted in just two days by a team who were efficient, helpful and tidy. Spending so much money is a bit of a daunting prospect but Coral made it easy for us, with no high pressure sales techniques. The results have added hugely to the value of our house.

Sep 28,2021Price was not the cheapest, I got 3 quotes and they were in the middle. Getting the quote was easy, no hard sell and the person giving us the quote was very helpful and friendly. Windows were fitted one day after originally agreed due to a job running over, but this wasn't a problem. They sent two teams so the job was completed well within a day. I had 6 windows, a sliding patio door and a front door fitted. the fitters were very tidy and friendly. The only unfortunate thing to happen was they broke one of the window panels when fitting, however this was changed within a week. I had sound proof windows fitted to the living room, front bedroom and rear bedroom. To be fair I was a bit sceptical that they would make any difference. I needn't of worried as they work a treat, the sound from passing traffic is barely audible if at all. I would recommend Coral Windows no problem.

Sep 27,2021Hi, its a lot to write. Everything went wrong since day 1 of the visit. In June 2021 they came to replace my old windows. When they fitted new windows they didn't fit them well ( they were rushing and dind't care to take extra precaution during the work). 2 windows and french doors where wrong measured (too small, mistake made by survey), they said it's ok but 1 inch gap between window and wall is definitely too much. They didn't fill in the gaps with foam properly and in a few windows nothing at all. Window frames and french doors were scrached (colour frame windows) remains of the protection foil and glue left sticking in every window, bathroom glass unit cracked across, grey rubber sticking out in every corner of the window (inside the house view where beadings meet in the corner of the window). Debris inside glass units and french doors, faults and scratches on 7 glass units, vents in the frame too large ( I was told on the survey they will be nice and small). Front composite door delayed installation by 2 months due to lack of parts and they tried to give me worse looking door with different frame around the glass unit (they also changed a bit of a design of the door). Outside the house, replacement render around the windows was falling off, no plastic caps on the end of the cills. When I reported all the faults ( they tried to say at the beginning that is nothing wrong with most of the faults ) it took them almost 3 months to correct the them. They came 5-6 times to do the cosmetic repairs and replace all the faulty glass units. Today in September render is still falling off and I am not happy how my expensive windows looks. I haven't got any compensation ( they said we don't give any) and I will never take any windows from Coral Windows again. I do not recommend this company and it's not worth extra money for a second hand looking windows.

Sep 23,2021Great work fitting a complicated job, completed by a friendly team. Was a bit of a wait to get a fitting date, but this is understandable with how busy the industry is. Also, cannot fault the price, very reasonable in comparison to some competitive quotes. Would highly recommend.

They absolutely delivered on that promise - from the initial consultation, to the survey and finally the window fitting. The service was very good and stress free. Very tidy workers and great attention to detail. Would highly recommend.

Jan 04,2022We had new Composite doors fitted by Mick & Adam just before Xmas and we are both completely delighted with them, the lads were friendly,tidy & professional and they pointed out the bad job the previous company that had fitted our pvc doors had made AND they also put that previous bad job right.So thanks to Coral and the lads for doing extra work for Nothing extra in cost.We will definitely come back to you when we are in a position to replace our windows as you are a credit to your industry.
