Jan 09,2019From the initial survey to the completion of the job, the whole Coral team were experienced professionals. My windows & a door were replaced in a day by a team of experienced installers who got on with the job keeping tidy through out, removing old units & leaving the site clean when finished. I recommend Coral to anyone wanting replacement windows & doors. p.s. They were also less than half the price of some other local companies.

Dec 17,2018I originally wrote :Don't use this company. Induced us to purchase conservatory in 2003 with promise of guarantee against poor workmanship for as long as we live in the property. Fifteen years later conservatory is collapsing and independent engineer reports clearly states inferior workmanship is the problem. They went 250mm down when should have been minimum of 900mm as medium shrinkability clay soil. They refuse to honour contract, saying it's outside of 15 year guarantee period which applies only to upvc, whereas inferior workmanship is it says in guarantee covered for as long as we remain. We are now in talks with solicitors. Coral are unprofessional and have no integrity. They even refused to come out to inspect without us paying them to look at their own poor workmanship. They then said the lifetime guarantee means nothing in law and there is a statute of limitations for 15 years. We contacted them about problems such as slipping doors and sill and dwarf wall within the 15 years, and they came out. Telling us to fill the gap with caulk! They must have known. Don't use them They lie and are dishonest about the guarantee. Then I wote: I will update this as Mr V the owner has personally visited, and to be fair he strikes me as a man of integrity who is going to look into this. I will update when we have reached a conclusion. Now: Further to my last update, Mr V returned today and I am confident that the necessary work will be completed to a standard that we are both happy with. Just to say I appreciate him dealing with this personally, and I think he genuinely does care about customer satisfaction. On completion, I anticipate I will post a very different kind of review. All Mr V has asked is that my appraisal is fair. So here goes with the appraisal. Mr V took control after an initial less than satisfactory response from a senior manager; and, he sorted it. Not only did he arrange and ensure that the underpinning was done - with the engineers providing him with step by step photos showing the work- but he put in a new pvc unit, with new seals, replaced the floor with upgraded covering, put in new digital locks and installed a wall mounted heater. He did this in a professional and courteous manner; calling us throughout to check that we were happy with the process and with the product. We are happy now. Happy with the product - which was never an issue as the pvc remains white after 15 years and the glass is still good. Happy with the installation - which had been the issue. Happy with the integrity of the company - which we had questioned until Mr V stepped in. Some may say he is a good businessman and he knew what to do to effectively manage the damage that can be done by social media. I don’t agree with that point of view. I honestly believe he does care about customer satisfaction, and what is heartening is that he equally cares about the reputation of Coral. The benefit is therefore passed on to the customer, because he wants to get it right. I see there are other reviews on here, which have raised some issues. But signicantly the authors also write that Coral are looking into their problems. We are human, and because of that we make mistakes. Mr V didn’t make the initial mistakes regarding the installation issues we experienced. He probably didn’t even know we existed, as he understandably put his trust in his employees who installed our conservatory. And, let’s remember this was 15 years ago, when there was less stringent building controls as far as conservatories were concerned. But, he corrected the mistakes and that is all anybody can ask for. Thank you Mr V. Thank you to the workmen and their supervisor S for being pleasant and polite, as well as being on time! Will I buy from Coral again? Well, if we do move house and there is no conservatory...absolutely, and with no hesitation while ever someone like Mr V is in charge.

Dec 12,2018We were pleased with our doors and windows and they are of good quality compared to lots of other UPVC suppliers. We were so pleased that 2 years later we had another door fitted to the side of the house. When the original windows were 10 years and 2 months old, one of the glass panels cracked (I think it was because the weather was so cold). We rang Coral and they sent a representative the next day. He said that because the window was only 2 months out of warranty, he thought that he would be able to get the glass replaced for us as a goodwill gesture and proceeded to ring head office. Following the call, he told us that we would have to pay £250 for the replacement sealed glass unit. When we told him it was too much, he reduced the price to £200. My husband bought a new sealed unit for £20 and fitted it himself. Forward to this week. Our newest door (fitted 8 years ago) had an issue with the handle. We rang again (as within the 10 year guarantee). We have been told that the guarantee does not cover the handle, but that they would send us some new springs through the post so we could fix our own door. We had no issue with the original sales team and the quality of the workmanship, it just seems to me, that there follow up is poor and that the guarantee does not cover a great deal.

Nov 08,2018We had 2 doors installed by Coral windows exactly 1 year ago, since then we have had nothing but issues and we have had to have them out 5 times so far and still haven’t rectified the problems. The front door which is a pvc door dropped so it was hard to shut and then the panel in the middle of the door split and needed a new one, apparently due to hot weather (according to Coral). The letterbox was installed bent so let water and the cold in. But all these problems are supparsed by the back door, a composite door, this has marks all over it from what looks like not being painted correctly. When it arrived the glass was off center to the frame and needed renewing, the lock will stop working if a little bit of sunshine hits it, the weather strip around the door fell out. By what is the worst issue by far is the customer care, IT DOES NOT EXIST. We have had no help or support with these issues and have had to chase Coral all the time. SO IN REVIEW POOR PRODUCT, SHAMBOLIC COMPANY

Oct 23,2018THIS COMPANY HAS A CHILDS PLAY CENTRE ON HALIFAX ROAD BRADFORD WEST YORKSHIRE ITS WINDOWS IN THIS AREA ARE UNSAFE THAT REFUSE TO CHANGE THEM THEY MUST TAKE NOTE BEFORE A CHILD IS ,,,,,,,,,KILLED ......THEY CAN NOT GET AWAY WITH THIS YOU MUST CHANGE THE WINDOWS THEY ARE THIN GLASS AND CAN EASILY GO THROUGH DO SOMTHING BEFORE A INNOCENT CHILD DIES

Aug 19,2018Having 10 new windows fitted was the biggest expense I've made on my house. There's numerous firms about and prices and quality vary substantially. I didn't have time nor did I want to start ringing around for quotes. A family member had used Coral over 20 years ago and his windows were still like new. I opted for Coral and wasn't disappointed. From Paul in sales, Ian the consultant to Steven the surveyor, everyone was very professional. A special thanks to the installers Mick and James who carried out such a neat and tidy job at my property. If you are considering new windows or doors, I'd suggest you give Coral a call. I certainly recommend them.

Feb 15,2018What a great company, the building of my orangery was monitored by them every step of the way and any slight grievances were immediately sorted. I have cause for them to return to deal with a minor issue and once again received their immediate attention, even though I live approx 50 miles from their base. They can be trusted, which is very rare these days.

Feb 13,2018We made an appointment for a sales person to call and give a quote for double glazing the house ,to arrive at 10 am this morning. A man called last night and confirmed they were expected, repeating the time, and confirming the appointment. No one turned up, we went out at 10.30,having waited long enough. No phone call received explaining any delay. If that is the attitude when they are selling, then clearly they cannot be trusted in installation and after sales service

Jan 16,2018Worst experience ever. Don't waste your time and money!!!! Signed contract in June (2017) explained that work will be done within 4-6 weeks, but with poor bulding quality, wrong brick colour and struggle to level our floor they finished Conservatory in November. Thanks for help - Hull flooring company otherwise it would be finished even later.

Jan 09,2019We have recently had 3 windows and a door replaced and a small porch added to the front of the house. Once again very satisfied with Corals service and quality of workmanship. All work carried out professionally and to timetable, despite adverse weather conditions. We were kept informed of progress at all times and the porch work was brought forward and completed nicely ahead of schedule and indeed before Christmas. We would certainly recommend Coral to friends and will go to them in future for any further requirements.
