Jul 30,2020Salesman Dave A was a true gentleman, he showed us the product's quality and the lock mechanism, we chose the style of Composite door and Glass all via FaceTime. We chose to have 8 windows and both doors replaced in Anthracite Grey. The fitters arrived on time and made a start quickly and efficiently, the upstairs windows were removed and the new ones were installed, they looked amazing, the second day the rest and doors installed, OMG they really do look the part, and the quality of just the simple act of opening and closing a door/window is like the old VW advert were you know the sound of quality :) Dave has been with Coral for 25 years and the fitters for over 9 years, a company that keeps staff like, is a trustworthy company. Highly recommend Coral to anyone who is thinking of getting any replacement windows/doors.

Jul 27,2020Windows were damaged and a brown marker used to cover up, back door locked and could not unlock and had to be drilled out, door and window trims all coming off. Could not lock patio doors. Front door had to be realined twice. Back door leaking water in through the bottom and still not fixed two years later. Would not use or recommend to anyone. My lino was ruined.

Jul 14,2020Great from the start of the process to the finish. Good price, very pleased with the actual product, but what really stood out were the installation teams. The teams were on time, polite, nothing was too much trouble for them. The work was also completed quickly. I'm still quite amazed at the quality of work. I'd assumed that we would have damaged plaster and would need to redecorate certain areas, but that wasn't the case at all. Highly recommended.

Jul 10,2020Coral, oh where to start. Two years ago I had two installations at two properties, both severely botched, this review will only cover one, of my Grandmother, a 70 year old. On installation day (May 2017), all was done by 5pm, and of course we signed off the work and paid for it as it all looked good and we could see it, as little as 2 months later, everything started to show its full colours. Both front and back doors started to keep a hold of the key, this was our fault of course as it is never theirs, so we left it and it got better. Then in the Winter (Nov 2017), the same thing happened again, and the threshold gathered water, so we had them out and they rectified the problem. In the Summer (August 2018), this was the month of pain again for Coral, we had to have them out for the following: Broken window hinge in the Kitchen, Back door sticking and the bathroom window letting cold air in. Only 1 thing was fixed on that visit, the back door, the rest was “fixed”, what they mean is they poked around with a bit of wood and said that’ll do. After the previous encounter, we gave up for a while, until Winter 2019-Early 2020 came around. In November, I rang Coral to complain of the doors holding keys, but this time my grandmother couldn’t remove the key and therefore it was put down as an emergency. I got a call back from the emergency engineer telling me to go to Screwfix and purchase some Silicon spray, yet it’s a problem with their product, he said he wont do anything about it, so I reluctantly had to go. I spent £5.90 on 2 cans and god knows how much petrol on the motorbike. I sprayed it on and it was fixed. Later (January 2020), we had to call them out again, this time the list was massive: Window trim falling down, sunken doors, leaking front door, and a broken window handle. It took them until 2 weeks before the lockdown to sort the problems, to which they actually did, surprisingly, but to such a shoddy standard. To which I bring you up to date, (July 2020), Coral are due to get a call when I can visit the property safely, the following problems are now present: All windows can now see the Cavity Damp Proof Course from outside (some can see into the cavity wall), the living room windows which now need to have new seals put on (or what they will do is use devices that pull the frame closer to the building), the bedroom side opener which now needs a new hinge as the old one is loose and is at danger of falling off; at this point I can only imagine of the shoddy work that will be done to rectify.

Jul 08,2020Coral Windows replaced our soffits about 4/5 years ago. We have asked them to come back on numerous occasions as they have not attached it properly to the neighbouring house. As soon as there is any rain, it is pouring out between the two houses. Then last week during the bad weather, around five pieces were blown to the ground. We chose Coral Windows because they replaced the windows at our previous house but the workmanship & customer service has been appalling. I am presently sat here listening to a constant flow of rain water through the gap that has been left between each house.

Jul 02,2020After bad experiences with three other companies I was most impressed with Coral from the original salesman visit through to fitting of a new front door and one replacement window. The fitting was delayed during lockdown but the company called me to keep me posted about rescheduling. My additional three keys weren't brought on the day of fitting but I was telephoned three days later and delivery secured. Price very competitive and choice range satisfactory. Obviously it is early days, but after two weeks I'm happy.

Coral were really professional from start to finish and put me in a superb quality back door at a very reasonable price. They did what they said they would, when they said and gave me confidence throughout the whole process. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

Jun 23,2020Came to give us a quote for our new orangery. The visit was relatively quick with no production of any materials, discussions of promotions etc. Seemed a bit disinterested. Had to chase up the quote 3 times. On the third occasion Kelly from Wakefield said it would arrive within 48 hours. It didn't. 3 weeks later, and no quote, took up the services of another company which actually wanted the business.

The triple glazed windows & doors in a large 5 bedroom house came in at a good price. The product is brilliant, the fitters were excellent, professional and tidy. Thank Coral, we are very pleased.

Jun 09,2020Could not fault the work men. Friendly,hard working, asked us every step of the way for little tweaks and checks. Really happy with finished product. However, the outdoor lights tripped the electrics every time. We were told it's because we bought sub standard lights (couldn't possibly be the fitting!) we were told we'd have to pay for repair, time and fuel for the electrician if it turned out to be that. We felt that they would say it was the lights anyway so decided to just never put them on,which seemed like a waste! Then...one pillar started to crumble around the edges due to damp. They came out for that straight away. He re plastered and sealed a gap in the roof that had been forgotten about and suggested this could be the cause of the electrical problem. Again, a lovely work man. When we chased it up,we were told by the manager to check the lights OURSELVES! We're not electricians! We'd asked that the redecoration costs be reimbursed as we'd had to redecorate due to the new plaster and were told no, they won't do that. Section 10 apparantly. The hole in the roof was their fault so why am I having to spend my time and money on redecoration? We've never received an apology or admittance of a mistake and this is what gets to me most. Not great aftercare service over the phone or by email. I'm dreading it if something else goes wrong! For that reason I would not recommend. I just hope nothing else goes wrong as I wouldn't want to have to contact them again.

May 16,2020I had my existing 20 years old conservatory changed to a modern and Hopefully more energy efficient one and has chosen Coral Windows Bradford after a lot of research. We finally decided to signed up for the corals and a promise of 3 days Work In November became weeks And finally got sorted in the last week of December 2019. The whole experience has been quite challenging and The workmanship was poor and no project managing. We have to constantly contact and chase For it To be in an acceptable standard. We even suggested to get the manager to inspect the work and was told that if you can’t see the scratch /damage about 3 ft away and it’s ok which is totally unacceptable and got him to arrange to sort out every details which he was hesitant to do. Yes,they finally manage to fix it at the end but poor customer service And a stressful experience... considering it’s only a replacement of the existing conservatory with an established ground work !
