Aug 04,2020This was very easy to access and clear from the website how much money would be saved and the monthly payments. I would highly recommend and my daughetr is now looking into getting a bike too! What was not clear was when you click 'own after 4 years' (better savings) that the payment would still only be for one year with a final small payment at the end of 4 years when you won the bike. I got a great bike, helmet, water bottle and carriers, repair kit and lights. I made a great saving and have ridden 136 miles since joining the scheme including riding to work a few times a week! Really enjoying getting out and about! A great, inexpensive way to buy a quality bike without forking out large amounts upfront.

Aug 04,2020First, you have to remember that there are three parts to the process. Your employer, Cyclescheme and the vendor. I signed up to the scheme during lockdown and, with various staff on furlough, it understandably for my employer to release the funds before I got my certificate. Cyclescheme works with a good range of online sellers and store with a great range of brands, types and prices. It also appeared that everyone in the UK also bought bikes during lockdown and stocks were very limited so the bike I wanted was not available online or in stores. It therefore took a while to even find an available bike in my price range! I had to pretty much just buy the first and only bike that matched my requirements. Luckily, the bike I did manage to get was a great brand/model and was available from a local bicycle store who were brilliant, well organised (ie social distancing) and provided a great service. They were also complementary about Cyclescheme. If we weren't in the middle of a pandemic, the Cyclescheme would have been a really smooth end to end process and obviously a great way to get a bike for commuting and leisure at a great cost saving. The people I dealt with were supportive and gave me some great advice and overall it was a pain free way of buying a bicycle. I really recommend it and encourage people to purchase a bike this way. If your employer does not currently offer it, they need to sign up ASAP.

Jul 30,2020I applied for cyclescheme and the process was quick and eady. I purchased an e bike which also folds up. I have used my ebike quite a few times for leisure and love riding it. I would use cyclescheme again in the future and would highly recommend it.

Jul 22,2020The Cycle to work Scheme has been brilliant. I’ve saved (or will do) hundreds of pounds and more importantly I’m out on my bike and occasionally commuting to work. I bought a new E mountain bike and it is simply amazing. I can switch the assistance on to minimal or if I’m tired turn it up. I’d definitely use the scheme again in the future.

Jul 22,2020I dont think theres any easier way to get a bike. The savings are fantastic, but dont forget to budget for the 'ownership' payment at the end. Now the allowance as increased from £1000 to £5000 it helps, if you're a more serious biker to get a more advanced model or even electric bike.

Jul 21,2020Cyclescheme simply works, no fuss, no complicated process. I applied, my employer signed it off. Within 6 days of applying I purchased my new bike - the day my preferred supplier opened after covid shutdown. The hardest part? Choosing the accessories! My supplier was somewhat helpful in this, as I explained the last bike I purchased was a BMX for my son, then aged 9. I've never owned a brand new bike, and haven't ridden anywhere since leaving school many, many years ago..... :). As for the cost saving - the scheme takes care of that. My employer takes a monthly payment from my gross pay and I pay back the net - saving some 40%. I am fortunate as my employer has a sustainable travel team, and they handled all matters, including offering training!

Jul 20,2020Great scheme, my employer had a £3000 limit which I used and I will save around £950 by using the scheme. I went to look at bikes Monday, I applied for the voucher that night, got the voucher Tuesday morning and picked up the bikes that afternoon. I can't fault the scheme and I am enjoying my new bike which is a Cube Nature Hybrid ebike, which I would highly recommend. If you're thinking about getting a bike and your employer is in the scheme its a no brainer.

My employer joined Cyclescheme after I asked them if it was possible for me to get a bike like that and all in all, from employer applying to me riding me bike, it took 2 weeks, 2-3 days for delivery included. The website was very easy to navigate, it had lots of retailers, and the voucher arrived in no time. I went with Evans Cycle as a store and had a great experience. Quick, very, very polite, and they put everything together for me. I'm now happily riding!

Jul 19,2020Completely efficient and hassle free. I have just got my bike through the cycle scheme and the voucher and details came through within about 4-5days of applying. I handed over the code to the bike shop and that was that. It a most felt like taking away a bike without paying! The website was simple to navigate and I had no problem finding my work contact details. I got the bike as well as lock and lights but could have got more accessories if desired. The allowance is very generous and I only required about a quarter of it to get a very good quality bike. Now for the hard part of keeping going with cycling to work once the summer ends!

Fantastic bike that puts a smile on my face every time a ride, thank you to my company Ffp for participating in such a good scheme.

Jul 15,2020Couldn't give zero stars !! Absolute joke !! On day 30 now since my application was accepted and still NO VOUCHER !! My company has already deducted the 1st payment despite me not having my voucher or bike !!!! Contacted cycle scheme and got the NOW USUAL response of due to the current situation !!! What a load of #@£& !!!! Really fed up with all the phone calls , emails and running around I'm having to do to make up for other people's inadequacy .

Aug 04,2020Why Cycle to Work with Cyclescheme: in light of the climate emergency, the Covid-19 pandemic and a general health and fitness crisis, I can only recommend the cycle to work scheme as a way to reduce costs, build health, avoid additional Covid-19 risks and save the planet. Cycling is a safe way to travel and the more of us who cycle the safer it is. The scheme allows for money to be saved on the purchase of a new bike and all relevant accessories including safety gear and as far as I am concerned this is a plus plus plus plus scenario so use the scheme and get cycling.
