booked on line and followed up with a phone call as I made the booking request early on the morning of the same day that I had requested the pick up - the phone call confirmed the pick up for that day and the bike was safely delivered the next day - all exactly as stated. good service, good value.

I've rated the service as excellent based on the communication, and times adhered to for collection. One reservation, which may not be due to their part of the courier service, was that the bike box supplied, had a quite large hole in it, when it arrived at its destination, the contents were undamaged. CycleSent have been notified.

My experience of Cycle Sent was a three week long logistical nightmare and a total cost of £74.99 for my bike not to get delivered. Cycle Sent also failed to take responsibility and return my calls after requesting to speak to a manager about the poor service I had received. Transworld delivered my bike no problem in the end, who I recommend highly.

All enquiries before placing the order were dealt with efficiently and courteously. The delivery of the pckaging, the collection of the bike and delivery were all done promptley and as promised. Only comment - I think that some reference to labeling should be made bearing in mind that it is usual for courier services to be equiped with hand held devises. David Powell Order No. 3188

Booked for uplift on Thursday got told they forgot to order box and now Would have to be Friday uplift ? So one day late !! No good got money back

the person i spoke to seemed not to know about my order although there was an order number and post code,no tracking number and did,nt know who the courier was.

Booked next day delivery on Wednesday and no show for collection of Bike on Thursday. Rang numerous times to say courier on their way but didn't turn up. Did come on Friday to my work's address after frantic calls from me but didn't deliver bike until following Monday (was meant to be in Essex for the Friday due to buyer having race that weekend). Was offered apology but no compensation (even though paid extra for insurance). Definitely wouldn't use them again.

Cannot say how terrible the experience has been. Paid for my bike to be picked up from a friends address and delivered to my home address. I paid for a box and packing tape through the website to make it all easy for my friend at the pick up location. Seemed like a perfect service! Attempt 1 - Courier company neglected to bring a cardboard box with them to pick up address so refused to take the bike. Attempt 2 - Collection was rescheduled for the following week and successfully collected... only for it to then be returned to the pick up address the following day (and no communication from Cycle Sent to say that this had happened or why - was alerted to this by my friend to whom the bike had been returned.) According to said friend my bike has been damaged and the rear cog needs welding. Reason given by Cycle Sent for the return of the bike is that it had been packed in the wrong box... although this was the box that their courier had provided. Have had it implied by the company that perhaps my friend opted to use a box of their own, rather than the one the courier sent - basically implying my friend is moronic! They then had the audacity to say they can reschedule another collection and provide the correct box at an additional cost (!) I have had two days off work to receive the bike. My friend has had two days off to meet the couriers to send the bike. In total this has resulted in four working days lost. It is now three weeks on from when the initial delivery was scheduled, I still do not have my bike and it has been damaged. Situation is not resolved - despite me being in contact with them daily they either do not pick up the phones/reply to emails or if I can get hold of them there is no update. I do not know when I will get my bike back or how I will be compensated for the cost to repair the damage.

I was really worried about sending my sons £2500 bike via courier. All I can say is very professional service, next day delivery, insured and reasonably priced and the bike got there on time and undamaged. Will definitely use again and would most definitely recommend .

Apart from box not received so bike collected and received a day late, the bike delivery was brilliant but box got signed for by a stranger and we had to wrap the bike ourselves. A requested refund on the box we didn't get was refused on the basis it got signed for by 'somebody'. The online order system gave the impression that a box was imperative, Customer service seemed friendly and helpful, but was not open till 6pm as claimed and it would have been nice for them to have taken responsibility when it went wrong. No text alert either despite paying extra for it. Can't fault the ordinary courier though who made the collection and delivery, so the most important part was brilliant, just a bit expensive considering the box went awry. Not satisfied about not refunding the misdelivered box.

Guaranteed Next day pickup failed. Courier blamed, no phone call from company to advise of " vehicle breakdown",a day in wasted!! Delivery never materialised and despite many phone calls and emails, I was left to try and sort out with cycle sent courier partners, where the superb carbon fibre triathlon bike had got to in the courier network. My son at the delivery end waited in on 2 different days when delivery was promised, costing a substantial loss of wages. Now it transpires that the bike has been lost or stolen in transit. Trying to make a claim on the insurance is being obstructed. The new guy on their customer service phone line is out of his depth and hasn't changed the auto signature on his email account from the previous holder. Perhaps I have hit the UNLUCKY jackpot with this company, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Cycle sent is a good service but despite all of the terms and conditions needing to be agreed to,if you request a box to pack your bike into it will be delivered on the day you have requested your bike to be collected. You then have ten minutes(providing your courier is not pressed for time) to work out the flat box and pack your bike into it and close it all up. Not as convenient as you might assume. Ideally the box would be dropped the day before giving you time to pack it. Just be sure you have the time and patience to assemble the box and are around all day to expect the courier arriving. Other than that the service works.

It is all good but a notice of delivery and tracking number would be useful. Also a receipt when item picked up would give me more peace of mind. Delivery did happen when they said it would happen

Had arranged delivery for 2 bikes 1 with box and 1 without when the guy for collection came he had only been sent to collect the bike with box only and had not been given a box for the second. Had to wait till the next day for another collection that came with box.. Both bikes were delivered the next day after pick up. speedy service and friendly service. The only down side was the error in forgetting the box but they did gurantee me pick up the next day of the bike before 12 so i would overall def recommend service

The box arrived a little battered but could luckily still be assembled. After writing on the box which way up it needed to be transported the delivery man arrived and carried the box out of the van the wrong way up. My message on the box could not have been clearer.

Having got a good price for selling a bike on eBay only to realise that most courrier don't deliver packages over 120cm, I was a bit nervous about using Cycle Sent, especially when the courrier that turned up wore an APC badge ( firm that don't deliver over 120cm),looked surprised by the bike (we had used our own cardboard) and didn't give me any acknowledgement/receipts etc.The bike was gone ...with no tracking. But it got delivered, as due, the following day, on a Friday before Bank holiday. So thanks for "delivering" , I would certainly use them again, they definitely offer a much-needed service at an affordable price. Just next time I would pay the extra for the tracking e-mail.

I used my own box which was promptly collected and then delivered to the other end of the country before lunch time next day. I was a bit concerned that I wasn't given a receipt on collection but I e-mailed CycleSent and requested a tracking number which arrived quite quickly.
