Dec 08,2020I have done business with Dort for nearly two decades. Went in for a used car loan and was treated as if I was committing a criminal act. Zero consideration for my history with Dort or my current funds on deposit. The level of scrutiny I was subject to was unnecessary and counterproductive. Will be moving all our accounts (7 in total including two business accounts) elsewhere.

Dec 05,2020I was in to get a Refinance on my Truck and Amber suggested that I do the same with my Rockwood Trailer and also got a new Visa. She was very Kind and professional about the whole thing. I would recommend her to any one that needs Refinancing for anything.

Dec 02,2020The customer service at Dort Federal Continues to degrade. I cannot get anyone to answer the phone, or return calls. I have been a member for nearly 30 years. I am considering making a change. I am not sure anyone could do worse. December 3, 2020 after an extended conversation with a representative from Dort Federal Credit Union I feel strongly that the organization is making attempt to rectify the current backlog of calls and concerns.

Nov 28,2020Call me to tell ya, 810-228-8672! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AND VERY NON PROFESSIONALISM. AND STILL DID NOT GET WHAT NEEDED TO HAVE OR OTHER MATTERS SOLVED. PAYING FOR OVERDRAFT THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE OR AGREE APON NOR WOULD I OF BEEN ABLE TO OVERDRAFT SUCH AMOUNT. HOW CAN SOMEONE GIVE MONEY OUT TO UNAUTHORIZED COMPANY MORE THAT OVERDRAFT AMOUNT IS AND JUST TAKE MY MONEY FROM OTHER MEANS NEEDED WHEN 200.00 A MONTH WAS AGREED UPON FIRST 700.00+ WAS GIVEN THEN ANOTHER AMOUNT GIVEN WITHOUT NOTICE. NOT HAPPY WITH HOW BANK IS HANDLING MY ACCOUNT. THEN TAKES MY OVERDRAFT AWAY FOR SOMETHING I DIDN'T DO AND OUT O0F MY HANDS. AGAIN NOT HAPPY!

Dec 15,2020My experience was quick. The teller was helpful, insightful, and very pleasant, even with the Covid restrictions. I don’t reside by a DFCU anymore and had to drive an hour to get to one, so not having to wait was great for me. I would never switch to a new credit union.
