Sep 27,2024Mr. QuickPick in Destin was fantastic. First, he drove all the way to Panama City Beach to give my RV a jump. Second, he explained to me what was going on that my RV constantly loses battery charge. Third, he explained how a trickle charger could help. Fourth, he offered to follow me to a gas station to make sure it stayed running. Fifth - he texted me the link to a product on Amazon that will do what I need. That's five amazingly nice things, and he deserves every star!! Would definitely use him again.

Sep 25,2024My experience with Drive roadside was a less than ideal experience. My vehicle broke down on the side of the highway. we reached out to Drive Roadside for towing services. After Booking a tow truck i was told that it would be a 30-45 minute wait for a driver and cost for pickup and towing back to my apartment was going to be $380 for about a 20 mile tow. understandable. this is were things start to get shady. Before the dispatcher hung up on me and after she had recieved our payment she made sure to quickly say " the tow truck will be there in 30-45 minutes, dont cancel because if you do it will be a 50-100% charge on the card" and then hung up before i could question that. The tow truck didnt arrive for another 3 hours, and i couldnt even try for another one because i would have had to pay for another service. In my opinion that is shady. But im not done. once the tow truck arrived (Which drive roadside gave him the wrong location for me also) i learned that DRIVE Roadside contracts out towing companies, and the one they called happened to be a company that ive used before and am very familiar with. the driver of the tow truck also happened to be the owner of said towing company. Very happy with them. Today, over a week after using DRIVE Roadside we noticed another $109 charge on our account today. The first thing i did was called the Tow Driver himself (becasue remember that he is also the owner of that company) to ask why we had received another $109 charge. He said that he never did that, and that he cant charge me anything because the payment was through the DRIVE Roadside company and he was just contracted out with them and that he never even had our card info to be able to do that Now remember that i talked to him FIRST. so next i called the Drive Roadside company and talk to a lady asking her why we got that extra charge. she put me on hold to ask someone and in about 30 seconds (not enough time to ask someone and get an answer) came back on the line to tell me it was a "Fuel Surcharge from the company that did the tow" I told her that cant be valid because they already charged me $380 for the tow and at no point did anyone tell us of a possible 2nd charge. So $11s shy of a $500 charge for a 20 mile tow. i then told her that i had also talked to the OWNER of the towing company and he said that he never approved any other charge for that tow job. she put me on hold again and then came back and they voided the extra $109 Had we not seen the extra charge to our account we would have never know as nobody called, text, or emailed us about any type of extra charge when they still have all that info on file. So after a $380 initial charge, a 3hr wait on the side of the highway where i was told i cant look for a quicker service because they would charge us 50-100% of the cost of the tow for canceling. They also attempted to charge us another $109 and tried to justify that it was towing company charging them. luckily i thought to call the towing company myself before calling DRIVE Roadside so i knew that that was false was able to challenge that. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. Dont let this company have your card info. Call a Towing service directly. they will be there faster and cheaper with less shady business tactics, they will only charge you a cancel fee if theyre already on the way if its taking to long. THIS COMPANY PULLS SHADY BUSINESS TACTICS AND WILL LIE ABOUT CHARGES IN HOPES THAT YOU WILL NOT QUESTION IT. Supervisor refused to speak to me as well. Save yourself the trouble. we had to cancel our card and get a new one in case they try to charge us again

Upon my call the guy walked me through the steps online to get a tire change, which as I explained that I had already took the lug nuts and driver side flat tire off but due to where the car was located it was on uneven surface so it wouldn’t raise my 2016 Jeep Compass where I needed it so I could place my spare tire on. This was explained… that all I needed was for someone to come out with their Jack raise it up just an inch higher so that my spare could go on. I was first quoted an Authurizatuon charge of $159 when I went onto the site and filled all the information out myself and clicked on TIRE, but ended up not going through with it, which a few min later I decided to call them and speak with a live person and what confused me when speaking with this live person over at (DBA Quality Roadside (USAA) that was through DRIVE Roadside I was told that he had put it under I needed a winch out by mistake so I had to answer all his questions again. Once that was done and I was still in their App and on the phone still I was provided with an Authorization in the amount of $199 and it was explained to me that it was only going to be a hold until the service provide showed and from there I will be given a total. Once the guy showed up and show that I did everything already by taking the flat tire off once he placed my spare tire on and I asked him for a receipt I was told that he didn’t have a receipt for me and when I went into my online bank and showed him that $199 was already taken out my account he seemed to be in shock as to how much was taken out my account just for him to put on a spare tire. I eventually called and spoke with a women and went through the spill all over again but she didn’t show no sign of care or concern for me charged this much for someone just just Jack my jeep up another inch so the spare tire could be placed on. I was then provided with the site to go to which I did where I could view my receipt it when I went to enter in my phone number as it asked me to a box popped up that said there’s no information for the number I provided like how is it not when I got text messages from them to this number???

Sep 25,2024Realistic Expectations. I called for assistance and was able to tell the person what the issue was and what was needed. She was kind enough to ask questions to make sure she understood what I was asking for, in my case fuel as I miscalculated open gas stations during my trip. When the fuel requested arrived, it was in the time previous mentioned and the driver was very cheerful. Although I hope to never be in this position again, I know where to call for help and get it and would recommend to others as well. Thank you
