Sep 20,2024They were prompt and arrived earlier than the timeframe they gave me. I had access to my car — I locked my keys inside — within 5 or so minutes after arrival. They were polite and didn’t make me feel like an idiot!!!!!

Sep 20,2024The initial call and the mechanic that was sent to me were great. Theresa, the mechanic, was very helpful and fast. It's the service afterwards that makes me want never to use this service again! I was traveling back from Kansas to Denver and had only 300 bucks in my bank account. I had a tire blowout, had a good spare buy couldn't bust the lug nuts myself, so as i said, Theresa came and got it done. I was aware of a 159.00 charge for her service, this left about 140 to get home for gas etc..I pulled into a small town and went to fill my gas tank and was only able to put 11.00, because all my money had been taken by this company, they billed my account two times! So I called them and was told that I could request a refund, but that it would take 4 to 7 business days to be reviewed! Was I supposed to sleep in my truck during this time and not eat?? It's unreasonable that the money was taken two times, and even more unreasonable that it could not be refunded immediately, especially because it was their mistake...why should I have to request a refund when clearly they showed a double charge...the operator that took my call could plainly see the double charge, but could do nothing about it. She then gave me another 800 number to their customer service department to call and see if anything could be done to get my money back immediately. When I called this 800 number, they informed me that they are not even a part of roadside, but instead are a car club membership service, and the rep informed me that I wasn't billed by them, because they aren't part of roadside! All of the people I'm trying to communicate with spoke very broken English and could not understand what a bind I was put in by them, and it was more of a nightmare to try and contact anyone , let alone understand what they were saying back to me, so I filed a request for refund online, and it was approved of course, but that now it'll take up to 10 business days for them to send the refund to my bank, and that my bank could take another 5 to 7 business days to credit my account. This was a nightmare and I will never use this service again!!

Sep 18,2024Paid $199 due to flat tire in right hand lane. Called at 6:20am. Some kid shows up in a small car an hour and a half later. Had no idea my spare was flat (odd). So he put in the flat anyway. Now I’m out $199 and ask him what are my options. Could he at least give me a lift to the tire shop 1.2 miles awayor call in and ask my options. He told me sorry, I have other jobs to do and left me…Still stranded on the side of road. I called the number and told her what happened. She acted outraged that he put a flat on and left. She suggested I need a tow truck then but couldn’t dispatch one until I paid an additional $130 for the tow, but assured me my $200 would be refunded. Reluctantly and in a jam, I paid it. Tow truck showed up FIVE hours later and towed car 1.2 miles to tire shop. I proceeded to request my refund later that day. Odd she couldn’t submit refund but I had to go online and request it. Instant approval…Only to be notified a week later that they have decided not to refund my money after all. I wouldn’t have paid for the tow truck had I known they weren’t going to refund the initial amount I paid them. BIG SCAMMERS who take advantage of stranded driver. Can’t stand dishonest businesses such as this company!

Sep 18,2024I suffered a debilitating flat tire. It was the wrong time to learn that my Acura does not come with a spare. No AAA. There was nowhere to walk to. I performed an internet search to contact AAA or, maybe, find out what my options were. “Roadside Assistance” who knows? DriveRoadside.com immediately came up with a help prompt; Flat Tire - Tow - Mechanic - Gas, and others. Okay. I’m not a member. Let’s see what happens. I started the forms. My bank security declined the transaction. So, I closed the Internet and started thinking about friends to call. I ignored a persistent phone call until a text message comes up asking if I’m okay; am I safe. There’s a phone number and a link to DriveRoadside. I call the number and I immediately feel like I’m not alone anymore. I cannot express the level of commitment that was provided. She asked if I was in a safe place, then, sent me a link directly to the help prompts that my situation needed. During the process, another agent calls to confirm my safety and assures me that things will work out, just try the card again and we will dispatch a tow service. She was right. As as soon as my payment was approved, I received a tow truck confirmation and a text with a tracking service. The time in between is not relevant to the service being provided by this company. However long it was, it was short enough. Once the tow service reported the job complete, I received inquiries as to the accuracy of the tow service’s report, for location of drop, customer service, safety, etc. In a time of such disparity in the definition of customer service, DriveRoadside still understands the nature of their business, and the customer-in-need. The agents were seasoned, mature, knowledgeable, and so helpful. Any anxiety vaporized after their follow up text. I honestly hope that DriveRoadside becomes the provider in your contact list. There is much more to gain than their superior customer service.
