I ordered this gasket set and a heater case almost a month ago! To date I have still not received the heater case and calls to Ecklers have given me many excuses but still no part. So now a very good customer has told me he'll never do business with me again! I pas this along to Ecklers! I will not order from you if your the last person on earth who has the part!!!
issues with 2 prior orders... 1) I ordered a list of 'in stock' parts - only to not hear from them for about 2 weeks before getting an automated shipping update stating that half my parts were on 2 months backorder! - i had little option but to cancel part of the order and obtain elsewhere More recently, and more irritating - I made a purchase on the basis that a $75 discount voucher would be supplied for use against a future purchase. This promo their headline grab for that week. The discount never turned up... so i contacted customer services.. who responded initially.. then went silent... a few days later, i had further contact from customer services after criticising the service on a bizrate survey result. Once again, I explained the situation, the agent initially responded.. and now, once again, radio silence. This is appalling customer service!! I will now take my future business to corvette america and mid america motorworks and suggest that anyone reading this review do the same!
I ordered a cup holder for my mercedes-there was no photo available but when I spoke to the fellow on the phone he assured me it would fit my mercedes. It arrived and I found it to be a sticky tape, aka "exclusive EuroGrip adhesive pads",cup holder that was to be stuck inside my console. It could not be used in place of the one that came with the car. I could of purchased something as horrible for 5 dollars but instead I paid 33.37 plus 10.00 shippipng. I then called customer service and spoke to an idiot who re-iterated about 30 times that I could return it. No kidding-by the time I re- paid for shipping I would of spent almost the price of the cup-let along my time. He was quite insolent and should not be part of anything that has the words "customer service" in them. I would strongly suggest that people be wary of using their services. Also the shipping was incredibly high in the first place and the claim that it was made "exclusively for Mercedes Benz" is a blatant lie as it could fit on any vehicle.
