I too have fallen victim to the beautiful Instagram and advertising on daytime telly. This company also has also partnered with Boots and the White Company, making any customer assume it will be a quality product with excellent customer service. However yesterday received the email explaining a 'glitch' in their system and to expect a further 12 day delay in delivery. I had hoped to give as a teachers gift, but it will not arrive in time. Yet today, I received an advertising email from Elizabeth Scarlett with details to order personalised gift now to receive in time for Christmas!! This is crazy, as they cannot fulfil their Black Friday deals in a timely manner?? From reading other reviewers, I am unlikely to get a response/refund from their customer service team. Disappointed! This is why we all stick with Amazon. I suggest other dissatisfied customers use Instagram to make other buyers aware.
Wish I’d looked at this before placing an order. Can’t comment on the quality because my order has yet to be fulfilled. Very disappointing as all my items are gifts for Christmas and just received an email to say that there was a glitch on the system that told me my order had been dispatched. I don’t believe them after reading these reviews. They’re now saying there will be a 12 day delay and that’s after 12 days since the order was placed. Not good enough to say don’t contact Customer Service it’s an automated reply anyway. I notice they are still pushing the Christmas gift sales but beware because they’re no use as gifts if there are delays in fulfilling the order. Just wondering whether I’ll see my £105 as I’ve asked for a refund.
Should have read this before spending over £40 on a mass produced, shoddily made, overpriced item made in China. Typical Instagram hype and I fell for it - this was a gift but I would be embarrassed to give it to anybody - the velvet is cheap and nasty, threads hanging, looks like it’s been in the boil wash - terrible quality - as I say, mass produced Chinese rubbish (made in China label attached) not “lovingly embroidered” as suggested. Don’t fall for the fabulous Instagram page - the products are terrible.
The products look gorgeous on the website. I ordered three hot-water bottles and two pouches. Had to return one pouch as it was too creased to give. The other was just about okay. I think its both the quality of the material and the poor packing. Gave one hot water bottle to 13 year old who was thrilled with it. Expensive gift though. So I probably won't buy again but I feel sad as I would have liked to support this company's creativity. The designs are great but the quality of the actual product is poor.
I’d love to say I was delighted but sadly I’m not. I bought three large pouches as presents but they look so cheap and badly made that I’m going to have to buy something to go with them. I’m only sorry I didn’t check on this site before I bought them. Please don’t waste your money.
I purchased two of the alphabet pouches. Selected the letter ‘H’ but without realising it switched back to the letter ‘A’. So I returned them both via signed for delivery. (And whilst waiting for the refund reordered the ‘H’ pouches). The company didn’t refund and denied receiving the return. I sent them a screen shot of the tracking number and tracking history showing it had been delivered. They still didn’t refund. In the end I had to open a PayPal case to get my money back. After reading the reviews it seems I’m not the only one this has happened to. Avoid at all costs.
Maxi pouches look great on the website but sizes quoted are when the push is flat with nothing in it. Beware that there is little room for putting a laptop or anything with depth in the pouches. And disappointed that when I sent a pouch back for a refund no free returns label was provided.
Really poor quality products (but great pictures on the website!). Loose threads, looks uncomplete. Emailed the team and they did not allow for a discount or refund. They also forgot one of the monograms and refunded that cost for just monogramming. Really disappointed given I paid international shipping and bought over $200 worth of products.
Tried ordering twice from seller but their website just didn't work. My 2nd order was entitled to discounts but these were not applied. No Customer Service response so I became suspicious. Saw Trustpilot reviews and now believe this seller is probably best avoided.
Ordered 2 pouches, they are nice but not worth £28 each. No contact to confirm order just the royal mail letting me know about delivery. I quite disappointed, I have found better in TK Maxx
I ordered 4 pouches, one was supposed to be navy blue but was delivered as purple (the label on it saying 'pink'). In addition all the pouches were of such poor quality, the 'velvet' was thin with a cardboard type feel to it and was horribly creased and looked very cheap. I returned my order immediately which cost me nearly £5 and 12 days later I am still to receive a refund. I would not recommend buying from this company they market their products as luxury items, but they look as though they are mass produced for a quick profit.
Wish I’d seen these other reviews before ordering! I ordered four alphabet pouches and unfortunately must have refreshed the page after making one letter selection so ended up with an ‘A’ instead of a ‘C’. Appreciate I should have double checked the order, but had hoped ES would appreciate its easily done. I noticed immediately after placing the order and contacted customer services straight away. They got back to me to say it was not possible to exchange the items before dispatch and they will not exchange if I return the pouch. My only option is to return and reorder, so I will be returning the whole order and spending the refund elsewhere. I understand their response is in line with their policies but I had hoped for a much better response from this company.
I wish I had come here first , the Bee pouch is quite nice , but the star sign ones are poor quality , thin stiff fabric and don't feel luxurious . I'm embarrassed to give them as gift and I bought the boxes to go with them . I waited for them to be restocked as well
Terrible customer experience. They made a mistake and omitted an item from my order on the 6th October and I am still waiting for it to arrive. They made no attempt to send the missing item by express postage. I am having to chase them again by email to find out why the delay. They will only look into this after day 9, which is their usual delivery time! Appalling service!
Delivery is ridiculous. They estimate you will receive your order 9 days later. I ordered multiple items however these will now not be delivered on time and customer service is extremely poor. I’ve read other reviews and judging by those I’m not expecting the quality to be particularly good either. A great shame that they can’t sort there logistical side of the business out.
I ordered 2 items 3 weeks ago, costing £50. I had no acknowledgement, so no order number. I have emailed 3 times but got no replies. I have not received the goods. Feeling like a rip off to me. My advice is, don't touch with a bargepole.
I can't understand why there are so many negative reviews here! I ordered a makeup bag and an eye mask about a month ago and both products arrived together within a week. They came in separate dust bags and the eye mask has its own additional drawstring bag which is a really nice touch. For the price I paid, I'm really happy with the quality. Anything from ES would also make a beautiful present so I'll definitely be looking on there for Christmas gifts for my friends and family!
I recently ordered an everyday pouch and makeup bag from Elizabeth Scarlett They were for a special weekend away but sadly they did not arrive in time and I used my old washbag for the trip etc! On arriving home again I unpacked the items and found the quality poor....thin & not good quality velvet plus zips which were cheap and shoddy! These items were expensive and very disappointing so I have returned them It cost me £4.20 2nd class postage with Royal mail to return the items and unbelievably I have to wait 14 days for a refund!! I don,t know anyone I buy from online who make you wait that long! Very disappointed with the goods etc and an unhappy online shopping experience!
Quality poor.Bought as a present for my granddaughter,but It is going to the charity.shop instead! If was just a cheap looking purse

I too fell for all the advertising emails in my inbox around black friday ... and then also received the email saying they were asking customers to wait a further 12 working days for delivery. I received my despatch email on the 2nd Dec, so I'm guessing I'll be lucky to receive my order before the 17th Dec. And from other reviews it sounds like when the order does arrive the items will be poor quality :( Not good enough Elizabeth Scarlett. Won't be wasting money with you again. And as another reviewer points out, don't trust a company that doesn't respond to negative feedback!
