I placed an order and then added something else the rep described. It was a stuffed musical dog that sounded adorable for the neighbors' children. When it arrived, I was disappointed with the size and craftsmanship. For $11 I could have ought a better quality toy elsewhere. It was cute and hopefully the kids liked it but it only played two short holiday songs. No more over the phone purchases sight unseen.

We purchased five big gift boxes for this 2013 year's Christmas gifts. We ordered them December 12. We received shipping confirmations 5 days later with estimated arrival times past Dec 25. Luckily, they all arrived before then. However, NONE of the packages had notes from us to the recipient so no one knows the gifts are from us. I had to call each person to verify they received it. It was odd because when we ordered, there was a box you fill out with your note to the recipient. There are so many companies like Figi's that we will not order from them again. We usually get our gifts from Harry and David but decided to do something new this year.
Dear Figi's, I don't know whether to complain to you or the usps. We received a package from our brother in law (John H Cook) from Cincinnati today Dec. 20 that was date stamped Dec 13. It was perishable and had no cooling. The cheese was all soft and warm and one of the port wine cheese spreads had leaked and gotten everything sticky. I'm not sure if I should eat it or not. We have enjoyed your products for years and sent them for gifts. This is our first disappointment. Merry Christmas. Marty Persons Georgetown Texas

Received a bow of Sugar Free Merry Christmas Petits Fours as a gift. What a JOKE.There is as much flavor in a piece of cardboard as this SHIT. I would not ever buy or recommend this Co to anyone. What a ripoff!!!!!!
Received a gift box of cheese and sausage yesterday (the Pounder?). What a great assortment of foods for entertaining. Nicely packed and will be enjoyed by friends and neighbors. Thanks Sis and thanks Figi's.
I order an item online and because of the way the illustration and descriptions were placed on the pade, I mistakenly picked the wrong item number and naturally ordered the wrong item. My bad. My wife caught the error immediatey so I called within the hour. I was told "it wasn't in 'their' system yet" but I should call back later. They'll take care of it then. (I had gotten an email confirmation, so it was in somebody's system). I called later and was told again, "it wasn't in 'their' system yet" but I should call back in the morning. I called the next morning and was told again, "it wasn't in 'their' system yet" but I should call back in the afternoon (I'm sure you can see where this is going). Joe Gullible (me) called in the afternoon at 1pm and was told "it was too late to do anything" and I cannot change the item for the one I wanted. Terrible (zero) customer service. Needless to say, this will be my last experience with FIGIs. 'Caveat Emptor' in spades!
We were so excited to finally be able to spend Thanksgiving with my son and his family. I was bringing the Smoke Turkey, so I ordered form Figis 10 days in advance. Their website accepted my order and I called several times to make sure they had my order and confirm it was coming before Thanksgiving. The more calls I made the more disappointed I got. Each time we called their CS department they told us a different story: (1) they have 2 orders under my name!!! REALLY? (2) No order was found under my name or order number???!!! (3) Go buy a turkey because it might not arrive on time, no problem we will refund your complete payment (4) It is arriving via fedex this afternoon (5) it already arrived at the post office???? (6) we send the order fedex directly to the Post Office and the PO delivers to your home!!! REALLY??? On thanksgiving day the Post Office is NOT opened??? In summary the turkey never arrived on Thursday, we went out of town Friday morning and returned Sunday night…THE TURKEY ARRIVED AND WAS DROPPED IN OUR HEATED MAILROOM AND WAS NO LONGER SMELLING GOOD WHEN WE OPENNED THE BOX. Figis returned half of my money and told me that was their policy!!! NICE JOB FIGIS!!!!
To start, Figi's cancelled my order 3 times without notifying me. If I didn't call in to check the status I would have received nothing. My order was rather large, gifts for my office staff, totalling over $600. They finally got the order placed correctly and I requested a delivery date of Dec. 6. This date was promised to me. It arrived Nov. 26. I did not have accomodations in the office to keep this refridgerated so I refused the order and called Figi's once again. They agreed it shouldn't have been shipped yet and stated they would re-ship the order at the appropriate time. I decided to just cancel my order as I lost faith in this company and felt like they would just screw it up again. They let me know that I should receive my credit once they receive the order back. So here we are today...I called to check the status of my credit..they are now telling me that I was credited on Nov. 19 when my Visa wasn't even charged until Nov. 20!!! They also mentioned that it takes 4-6 weeks to process a credit. That's not what I was originally told. These people have NO CLUE what they are doing and I will NEVER reccommend this company to anybody!! Very dissapointed!!!!
I placed an order for Christmas presents and all was well until one evening this week. I prepared for bed and was really tired. I know I am an early bird going to bed but I am an elderly person and we tend to do that. I fell asleep about 15 minutes till nine and my phone rang. I have to wear a CPAP machine to sleep and removing and putting it on is a sort of slow process. When I answered the phone it was Figis making a "COURTESY CALL". Now what is courteous about 9 P.M. to call a person's home and wake them!!! I think 9 P.M. is WAY too late to be calling a person you have no idea what their habits are. I could not go back to sleep until after 2 A.M. Now how do you think I feel about this company. I will NEVER order from them again and will encourage anyone I know to NEVER order from them too.
I have ordered a dew things from Figi's over the years and loved everything I got. I will keep ordering from them when I need something from their catalogue. Mary Jane
if you are having trouble finding the right christmas gift or birthday gift for some one then use Figi's. i have placed alot of orders with Figi's over the years and have not had any trouble with the orders or the delivery. Every one that i sent to loves the product. I will keep ordering from Figi's . Good work Figi's
I ordered a set of rugs, they sent a set of bed sheets. I called and they refused to send out my order until they received the bed sheets back. So I cancelled my order and returned the bed sheets through their own process and stickers. They sent the cancelled order anyway, and charged me, then would not acknowledge the return of the bed sheets and charged me for those too! They have absolutely NO customer service.
When my brother and I were growing up banck in the dark ages, we would eagerly await the Figis package to come sometime after Thanksgiving.This meant family fun time, decorating the tree and baking cookies!!! Playing games and drinking hot coco and on Christmas eve we had the "grown up" snacks like the Figis cheeses and sausage. It was always such good quality and I have so many fond memories of those times. When my husband and I married we carried on the tradition. Still the best in my opinion. Love the fact it is still making good memories and it is still quality food !
Hi thought to let you know, I had a very good tasting experience with a recent order which was a pumpkin cake. Tasted very well, the cake came to our home in good shape. It reminded me of a pumpkin roll but in a Bundt cake format. All I can say was Yum.. My wife just feel in love with the cake and the cake reminded me of a Pumpkin Roll we had for Christmas. I have had no problems with Figis and when I ask for help they have always been very kind and understanding. Never had any problems and I would recommend them when I make any orders from them. I would trust them to help you in any way, or help solve any problems in ordering.
I have ordered many times over the past several years. While the sizes seem small, compared to other companies I've used, you get what you pay for. The quality of the cheeses and meats is very good. I send small packs to college age daughters for treats. They always love them. The one time I contacted customer service on a delivery, it was handled to my satisfaction. I order on-line and always get what I order when it is promised. I also plan ahead. That prevents problems. I plan to continue ordering every holiday season for myself and family.
I have been ordering from Figi's for years. They have a great selection for any holiday or celebration. Their catalogs are wonderful, great pictures and excellent prices. Deliveries are always made right on time. I have always been extremely pleased with my own orders and have heard from friends and family that they loved the items I sent. Judy Hanna
I have had to go to physical therapy at times. When I have finished, I wanted to give them a thank-you gift for all of their help. I give them Figi's petit fours. I have given them the ones for Halloween and the ones for Christmas and then the spring flavored little cakes. They loved them and so did I. I also have ordered them for my own treat. Always came in good shape and quite tasty. Also gave them to my dentist. I also order a cake roll filled with a mint frosting and topped with chocolate shavings at Christmas time. It is soooooo delicious. I had one at Christmas time, and I ordered another and froze it for company. It is a very unique treat, freezes well, and always arrived in good shape. So I would say that all of my experiences with Figis have been very positive.
