Bought a twin pack they don’t last ten years when you ask about the warranty they want receipt which I found took a photo of back with numbers and date on just to prove it’s there’s then they tell you it was bought from the wrong place just a get out policy so would not recommend company
I called Fire Angel as we had a smoke detector that chirped from time to time due to a fault. It does not have replaceable batteries and should have lasted until 2028. Sam was very helpful and once I sent the receipt to prove purchase, he quickly arranged for a replacement to be sent out. Great service.

I purchased a twin pack and both alarms have failed within 2 years. As they came with a 10 year battery life warranty, I foolishly did not feel the need to keep my receipt. After contacting Fireangel and explaining the situation, both agents asked for proof of purchase even after I had explained that I had not kept the receipt. Please do not buy these thinking that they will last 10 years. Maybe it would be better to pay more and get a trusted alarm/device.

I purchased a FireAngel Mains Smoke Alarm SW1-R and it started randomly going off after less than 1 year of use. I cleaned the fire alarm using a vacuum and microfiber cloth and the issue continued (it wasn't even dusty). I raised a request for a replacement under the generous five year warranty. I provided the batch number which proved when the warranty was valid from, however FireAngel would not honor the claim as it was purchased on eBay, even with a security protection seal being in place on purchase. They didn't want to examine the FireAlarm to see what the fault was, they just said that as I was not the original purchaser with the receipt from one of their approved suppliers that there was no warranty cover. So much for a five year warranty. The fact that they make fire alarms that are designed for safety and didn't even want to inspect the unit speaks volumes. But additionally they seem to attempt to avoid honoring warranty on their items, unless you keep a receipt in a draw for five years from one of their approved suppliers (whoever they may be). These kind of practices should be a warning as it is not how a business that designs safety products should conduct themselves.

I had a Fire Angel smoke alarm which started bleeping at regular intervals to indicate a low battery level. However it was only 13 months old, and was fitted with a non replaceable 10 year battery. I called their customer service department who answered promptly and apologised for the problem. They asked me to send by email proof of purchase, which I did, and received an acknowledgment almost immediately to say a replacement had been authorised and would be posted out. It arrived within 3 working days and has now been installed. Top class service- well done Fire Angel.

Jan 18,2025Purchased a ten year sealed for life smoke alarm in 9/2022 which came with a five year warranty via Amazon. Recently it started to emit continuous bleeping for no apparent reason. Contacting FireAngel customer support, confirmed unit was probably faulty & advised contact Amazon customer service as they held warranty details. Amazon declined service as they stated their warranty period was only two years. Returning to FireAngel they stated they would take this matter up with Amazon & meanwhile would honour warranty period, subject to proof of purchase. Sophie was very helpful, arranged replacement which arrived within three days.
