My fire alarm had been playing up and beeping alot. It still had 4 years left on the battery. Reached out to the customer service team and was given advice on how to fix it. Very efficient when replying. Unfortunately the issue could not be fixed, so they sent me a replacement one within 7 days. Great service received.

This is a company that Dell Boy would be proud of. You buy a smoke alarm that’s supposed to work until 2033 and when it becomes defective they expect you to be able to provide a receipt from x years ago. Their customer service is a disgrace with a total lack of flexibility and intransigence. Do not buy a product from a company whose moto appears to be Caveat Emptor…ie Let the buyer beware. ***UPDATE**** The reply states “ We are similar to a lot of our competitors by asking for this, as do most retailers” Note the words “similar” and “ a lot” meaning not the same and not all. Using the same argument I can say under similar circumstances most reputable retailers who value their reputation and stand by their products would accept that things can go wrong (as evidenced by the number of poor ratings) and offer to replace them when they do, hence the phrase “Gesture of good faith “ which is the sign of a reputable company. I doubt it there will be a response but will update if there is.

Alan was exceptionally helpful, answered all my questions very professionally and knowledgeably. I would not hesitate in recommending Fire angel to provide smoke and fire related products. Excellent support, thank you.

We all no things to not allways work 100% of the time and devices fail, this is where a valid warrenty and customer service is required. I can say with confidence that Fireangle honour their warrenty without a quible and there cusomer service is outstanding. Thank you to Sophie & Nikkita for your professional and quick response. John

I contacted Fire angel due to a fault on one of my devices. Supremely good customer service to identify the issue and enable me to unlearn the device from my network. And - FireAngel was able to establish that my device was in warranty and has dispatched a replacement. Many thanks in particular to Nicki and Alan.

When I phoned Fireangel because the 10-year battery on my ST-22 Smoke Alarm appears to have worn out after three years I had the following responses: First number invited me to leave a voice mail. Second number provided a looped recorded message asking me to choose options which I did repeatedly -- with no result. This is not the first time I've had so-called 10-year batteries wear out and found it impossible to contact Fireangel. I've also completed and sent back an online form to which I got no reply. After posting this on TrustPilot I go a reply from Fireangel suggesting I phoned them on a number they gave. I did that. Fireangel person was very helpful and agreed to send me a replacement alarm. I ended up happy. Thanks Trustpilot! Thanks Fireangel!

The support from FireAngel with regards to their ten year fire alarms is extremely poor and their customer support is unhelpful. We have been waiting nearly a month for a replacement fire alarm, poor considering it is a safety product. Update, I have asked to make complaint and yet this appears to have been ignored by the one person in Customer Support. The replacement fire alarm has been lost in the post. I have been informed by FireAngel’s Customer Services to chase the item myself (without Royal Mail tracking details). I am seriously considering contacting a director of this business directly and would encourage other disgruntled consumers to do the same.

Phoned telephone support for assistance in disconnected device from the network following frequent false activations. Excellent advice and assistance received from Carol and a replacement device is being sent to me. Could not have asked for better service.

A FireAngel alarm - 10 year life span. no replaceable battery - started malfunctioning and erratically alarming just after a year from purchase. Tried to remedy by following suggestions on FireAngels FAQS section on website to no avail. Then completed a email form stating problem . A few days later had response and after supplying proof of purchase my replacement alarm was delivered. Many thanks to Nikkita and the FireAngel team for the efficient and positive handling of this matter.

I spoke with a male who called himself Ravi (Ravinder). I rarely do these reviews but I felt the service i received from Ravi was excellent. He had a really good professional but caring manner. Good personality and understood my problem and resolved it without any issue. Unfortunately my wife accidentally cut the phone off whilst I spoke with him, so when I called back was chuffed he answered and to my surprise had already completed what we spoke about. Brilliant service and I dont often say that. A great representative for FireAngel. Keep it up Ravi.

My alarm started beeping to say the battery was running out. I was going to just throw it away but took the back off to stop the noise. I then saw that it said 'Replace by end Mar 2028'.As this meant that it had run out nearly 3 1/2 years early I called the company. They said I needed proof of purchase as this was their 'policy'. What does it matter whether I had a receipt for this (from probably several years ago) or not? I didn't need proof of purchase, I was holding it in my hand! They affirm that the battery should last until the date indicted. I also offered the batch number in case they wanted to find out if they had a problem with the whole consignment. This offer was declined.

Useless devices which are not fit for purpose. I have multiple Fireangel CO combined thermometer devices. I purchased it specifcally as I wanted an accurate thermometer. The latest FA3322 was expensive and shows 29 degrees or 31 degrees when another older model shows 21 degrees, which is a more accurate reflection. Constant erratic temperature readings. I sent an email via their website - no response. I called and a rude and agrressive young sounding women (who should not be working in customer services) said it is a SLIGHT temperature difference and not a fault and they will not replace it. She did not even realise 8 degrees or more is a huge difference and not slight. She clearly did not know what the manual claimed. THE MANUAL STATES ACCURACY +/- 0.5 oC. 8 degrees is 16x this! I feel this is a dishonest organisation. To claim 8 degrees is slight is unacceptable. I would not buy their devices again. Any decent organsisation would replace the device. (I am also in Coventry, near where they are based!) Most of the 5* reviews are based on devices needing to be replaced and done so as opposed to genuine admiration for the products. All they show is how unreliable the products are. For smoke or CO detection reliablity is crucial. ------- What a pathetic response: The difference was the thermometer reading and not alarm. How can 8 degrees Centrigrade be SLIGHT difference? The manual claims accuracy of 0.5 degrees centigrade (do you deny this)? Please explain.

Having got a fault in a smoke alarm that was over 4 years old, I contacted FireAngel and they immediately offered to replace it, as it was still in warranty, upon my sending proof of purchase. It was fortunate that I had the receipt. Thanks to Sam and Ravi for a quick response.

Product failure within warranty. Requested call-back which was extremely quick. FireAngel representative SAM was professionally friendly, efficient and very helpful. Resolved my issue same day. Commend FireAngel and especially SAM to her employer and the wider customer base.
