We had a faulty smoke alarm in our caravan. I reported this to FireAngel and they sent us a replacement free of charge. They staff were very helpful.
My late father had fire angel smoke detectors fitted and they've developed a battery fault 6 years into the ten year warranty fire angel won't replace them without proof of purchase even though I can give the batch number....... The proof of purchase is on my late father's email and I don't know his password....... Awful company!

My smoke detectors became faulty and I made contact with them via Facebook message to arrange for replacements to be sent out. I received a prompt response from Nikkita who was very kind and professional who organised my replacements being sent out. Highly recommended.
When I sent an email to the fire angle smoke alarm,explaining,the fault,with my name and age I received an email within three days from one of the very pleasant young lady Erica. She said that she will send me a replacement smoke alarm. I am very pleased and grateful for the help.Thanks to the company for having such a wonderful customer service.

FireAngel 10-year Smoke Alarm indicated low-battery after 3-years. Contacted customer support with matter resolved promptly. Sophie took me through each step to remove the alarm from my FireAngel Gateway (interlinked alarms) with a replacement Alarm dispatched the following day. Sophie also ran a system check to ensure remaining alarms all in order. Fantastic customer service with Sophie both very personable & efficient. A credit to FireAngel.

It was so nice to deal with a Company that honours its 5 year warranty and treats customers with such care. This Company deserves a 5 star rating and would recommend to others.
Problem with an alarm not lasting the expected 10 years but Alan replaced it as I could provide proof of purchase 6 years earlier on Amazon

This was my second experience of ringing this company as I was told to ring back if the problem I was experiencing was not resolved. Sam was polite, took time to listen to what I had to say, and sorted my problem very efficiently. Excellent service.
today I bought a carbon monoxide alarm from Fireangel. Luckily I tested it as soon as I installed the batteries and discovered it was faulty. Had I not done this the consequences may have been fatal. I contacted customer support who showed very little interest and just advised me to get it replaced at the retail shop. I was not asked for a batch number or advised in any way with regard to safety. After reading other customer comments I decided to contact the company again, after 13 minutes of waiting on hold I spoke to Sam who again told me to return the item to the retailer and Fireangel would not send a replacement unless the alarm was 12 months old. I have now decided to fit all my rental houses with alarms from a company with some level of customer service and blacklist this sub-standard company

It is concerning that I just read several pages of issues in October this year with FireAngel devices. I purchased 6 devices almost 2 years ago from Amazon and every device has had to be changed due to faults. There was no issue with getting replacements from either FireAngel direct or from Amazon but it is such a hassle as all of the devices have to be un-learned from the network and then re-learned when a device has to be replaced. I had connection issues with the gateway recognising the 2 new replacement devices I received from Amazon and had to watch YouTube videos to resolve the problem that somebody else had as 4 Emails from FireAngel Customer Service could not resolve the problem. We have to have Interlinked devices in Scotland as this is now the Law, but I am very concerned about the longevity and reliability of FireAngel devices. Maybe I will be proved wrong in the future.
A problem developed over communication regarding domestic smoke alarms and the need to return. Considerable time was spent by the company and myself with both parties having slightly different views regarding a series of events. Mid point I was fortunate to have Sophie intercept and propose a resolve to the situation. That involved listening to the original phone conversation, discussing with me and then communicating with her manager. Quickly a solution was proposed and accepted. Fire Angel is a blue chip brand and Sophie's customer service skills were excellent. She gave me a 2 teir timed solution which I can report were beaten with speedy deliveries. Yes things go wrong but it is how you handle the problem and from the first conversation with Sophie I was immediately confident her professional approach would soon sort the issue. Thanks Sophie.
In 2021, I bought a set of Fireangel SW-1 detectors for my house. As an Electrician I installed them all myself and they worked fine for more than 3 years. Lately one was giving a false alarm (sometimes during the night...). I Isolated the faulty one, vacuumed it with a soft brush and checked when on battery power and sure enough it kept going off. Sometimes within 1 hour and sometime took 5 day to activate. I knew these detectors are designed for 10 years so I sent an email to Fireangel Technical team (email address on instructions) and they replied the next day asking if I eliminated any of the usual causes for false alarms. Technical team accepted I had followed normal troubleshooting steps and I sent my Purchase Invoice (emailed by online retailer 3 years previous and took a bit of time to find it) and they have confirmed they will send a new detector within 5-7 days Very happy with the service they have provided with aftermarket care and support. Very rare indeed to get this level of support Good job Nikkita & Sophie
