I've have 4 of these in a business and had to buy replacments 5 times in the last 3 years. The warranty is worthless and they dont last as long as promised.

Geen service van Fireangel ondanks 5 jaar fabrieksgarantie. 2 jaar garantie bij Robbshop maakt dat ik daar (kennelijk) niet meer kan aankloppen. Na 4 jaar zijn 9 FIR_SM-F-1EU rookmelders plus een FIR_HM-F-1EU hittemelder van Fireangel allemaal tegelijk kapot gegaan toen de aardlekschakelaar er door een ander apparaat in huis uitklapte. 5 stuks begonnen zelfs te smeulen!!! Volgens FireAngel eigen schuld, want stroomstoring. Maar apparaten die zo kwetsbaar zijn voor een stroomstoring deugen niet. Nooit eerder een apparaat meegemaakt dat door een ander apparaat stuk ging. Tot nu toe dan! Investering van vele honderden euro’s (inclusief een z-wave module) in rook op vóór de helft van de beloofde levensduur van 10 jaar! Moeilijk om contact te krijgen met Fireangel, geen persoonlijk contact, op de laatste mail geen antwoord gekregen en naar garantie kun je dus fluiten.
Excellent customer service from Sophie. Replacement unit received quickly and without a fuss, once I could find the Amazon proof of purchase way back in 2022. This is a brand we will continue to trust!
Sam provided exceptional service to talk me through linking the replacement smoke alarm to the wifi. Her instructions were concise and she spoke clearly, aware of my impaired hearing. Had a problem with a recently installed FireAngel. As it was still under warranty I emailed FireAngel explaining that my unit was faulty, Sophie & Nikkita kept me informed and sent me a replacement. Excellent customer service, well done 😊
I have a battery operated carbon monoxide alarm, in my motorhome, that has 7 years warranty. It has developed a fault that results in it chirping periodically. When i called Fireangel to report this, i was told to quote the label number - on the side of the unit - to see if it was under warranty, which it was. They asked for the original receipt, which i no longer have. I pointed out the number on the unit i had quoted, and was told proved it was under warranty, surely must be adequate. They refused and said unfortunately i would have to replace it at my own cost, extremely poor customer service is my opinion and would advise anybody seeking to purchase this kind of product to look elsewhere. Being carbon monoxide, i would look for a product with not so many faults recorded on this site.
The battery in my FireAngel Carbon Monoxide Alarm started beeping with 18 months still to run under the 7 year guarantee. I received an immediate reply to my telephone query followed by immediate responses to emails. The whole problem was sorted within 2 days. Today, 8 October, I received a replacement Alarm, a newer version with a 10 year life. I can't thank them enough - excellent service, polite, friendly and helpful with special thanks to Ben.
A big thank to Nikkita and Madjid for helping me get a replacement heat alarm whose battery failed unfortunately. Swift and painless to get it replaced. Cheers Stephen
I had some complains about default smoke alarm at home, so is send an E mail with product description and receipt. they send out new one for free to me. very smooth handling for this case. fast response and handling to have my home safe again in no time.

Excellent service from Fire Angel this week. My Carbon Monoxide alarm failed at the weekend (replaced the AA batteries but still dead. Spoke to Sam on Monday morning & explained the problem, 1st question was how old 5 years) 2nd question did I have the proof of purchase (yes) Sam sent me a link to email copy of receipt, which I did & this morning I had an email from Nikkita advising that a replacement has been ordered & should be delivered within the next few days. I cannot praise the Customer Service highly enough. Many thanks Steve
Rang for advice on faulty smoke detector and followed advice but still not working so emailed tech dept and within minutes a guy called Sam messaged to say a replacement had been requested. This is excellent customer service.
