Having had a technical issue with a smoke alarm, I contacted FireAngel and spoke with Sam in customer support. This guy was so helpful, and friendly, he walked me through some technical stuff, which didn't solve the issue so asked me to send images and we received a replacement unit in a matter of days. My CO detetector stopped working - after trying new batteries first. I contacted Fire Angel customer services and their initial response was nothing other than positive. All they asked was that I provided proof of purchase. Once done, I received a further email to say the new item was on its way to me. Sophie and Nikkita were the two that I dealt with. Having sent an email yesterday regarding a fault with a carbon monoxide alarm (purchased nearly six years ago) I received a call from Nicki at Fire Angel this afternoon. She asked for some additional information and was able to confirm that a replacement would be sent under the terms of the guarantee. She later confirmed this in an email. Throughout Nicki was pleasant, professional and a good representative for the company.

I telephoned them about my new faulty alarm and was advised what to do. I emailed the details they asked for and received a courteous and prompt reply advising that a replacement would be posted and I would receive it within 7 days. It came in 5 and works perfectly. Once I knew I needed a copy of my purchase invoice the procedure for a warranty replacement was very straightforward and quick. Waiting for a replacement fire alarm to come into stock at Fireangel but no problem with the process.

Although now retired I have been involved in business all my life . After sales customer service is of the utmost importance. Sophie, who handled my case was extremely quick in her response . She was very helpful . This Company is one of the best I have experienced.
After a few years of persevering with Fireangel devices, the time has come to admit defeat and call it a day. I've never found them the most reliable with regular faults and false alarms and a need to have them exchanged under warranty several times. After significant blips after the initial install (when I had to wait for 9 months+ for replacement alarms), the situation steadied itself and the system was broadly acceptable with an occasional need to have items replaced under warranty due to faults. Sadly, following latest faults on mains wired detectors I was informed that the 2 year warranty had expired and I would need to buy replacement units myself. This was the trigger for me to change as I would be investing in a system which was simply okay, and often not okay (based on these false alerts and faults). My wife had to contend with 8 false alerts yesterday to the point where we had to simply take down one of our 12 alarms. The customer support has generally improved of late but the technology itself isn't (in my opinion) sufficiently reliable. Too many false alerts or faults make you distrust the system and that's currently where I am at. It represented a huge investment (for 12 alarms) but life is too short and so I'll be replacing the system over the weekend and chalking this all down to experience. It may work great for you, but for me it just didn't give me assurances of protecting my home and family.

Purchased fireangel new in 2002, it failed a month ago with 8 years service remaining. Fireangel refused to honour their guarantee as I purchased from a third party seller I don’t think this is good service I have a number of their devices in my properties. Maybe I will be changing over to a different company
Sometimes problems like a short battery life arise but FIREANGEL deal with these professionals and without any fuss at all. Nikkita and Madjid were extremely helpful throughout.

Once my email was submitted Nikkita assessed my case and replied rapidly and positively. A very good and efficient service by both individuals.

Oct 03,2024Had an alarm that malfunctioned after 2 years. I reached out to customer support and they offered to send a replacement. That's great but I wanted to know more and find out if this is a common issue with the model (ST-622) because if it is, I don't want a replacement that's going stop working randomly and put my family in danger. They ignored my questions and just sent out a replacement before I even confirmed that I want one.
