Nov 08,2019Homebuying is a daunting experience on its own, especially when you throw in moving to a new locale! Fortunately the buying service provided by Reali in the San Diego area was just the antidote to ensure a smooth and relatively painless process. The real stars are the staff at Reali, starting with lead agent Ilana Herring and field agent Gina Lee Palmer. Both have vast experience in real estate, so rest assured that you will have dedicated and knowledgeable agents partnering with you. They both have complementary skill sets, which allowed me to bounce ideas about neighborhoods, pricing and approaches to unexpected challenges (inspection report concerns, snags in the escrow process). They’re easily accessible by whichever mode of communication, which was extremely helpful because of my distance away from San Diego. They understand what it means to represent you too; they will respect your boundaries (maximal price, type of community) and find a way to make it happen. Our transaction coordinator, Angie Ferreira, kept us focused throughout the escrow process and seamlessly integrated with the local agents. Other interesting things about the process- you usually go to open houses on your own and the agents will typically only accompany you to private showings. I didn’t have a problem with that, but other agents I’ve worked with will always accompany you to any house you see potentially. It also relies on you to look up listings of interest versus having them do it; nowadays with all the online listings, this isn’t as important. The app is a work in progress, but the tech support is spot on. All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Reali again, especially in the San Diego Area. Plus, the Reali rebate (a portion of the buyer’s agent commission, as set out on their website) is a huge bonus. They worked just as hard (if not harder) for me as traditional agents have in prior transactions.

Nov 05,2019I was so hopeful but my Reali agent Manjit was dud. I got the feeling she was looking for the prefect buyer. Did not get the sense that she would advise or WORK to HELP you get into a home. The feeling I got was the relationship would be, tell me what homes you want to offer on and I will submit it. This service seems to only manage the paper work not help you become a home owner. On a 600K home $7500 seems to be a lot of money just to submit offers. I expected more.

Oct 22,2019I listed my home and liked the agent just fine. What I did not like was that when it went live on the MLS they replaced the pics from when I bought the house (which we're good) with my new pics (which should have been better due to work done on the home) & they sucked! They posted several pics of my livingroom which was sparsely furnished & because of that they then posted several pics of that same room staged, several different styles per room (through a computer program). So the pics are very confusing, they're no where as good as the old ones & they are NOT representative of the rooms in my house or my house as a whole. When you look at a homes on-line the goal should be to Invision seeing yourself living in the space you're seeing... Not what it could be (some of the computer generated photos could only be achieved with construction as opposed to furnishings). If it doesn't sell I'll be sighting that as the reason!

Oct 16,2019Effortless Home Buying Experience! My husband and I were looking for our first home to buy and we were so glad my dad introduced us to Ilana and Gina at Reali. They were responsive, professional, and always had our best interest in mind. I've heard horror stories of the home buying process so I was nervous going into it, but I can honestly say that they made the experience effortless. They were available for calls, house visits, and gave us a timeline and sent all of the necessary documents once we were in escrow. I would highly recommend Reali and especially Ilana and Gina to anyone looking to purchase or sell a home!

Oct 16,2019Great experience from start to finish. First time home owner/ buyer. I was skeptical at first and was discouraged by friends and others (ie. realtors) telling me I wont receive the service and support as I would a traditional realtor. However, as soon as I was pre-approved, which is a prerequisite to get assigned a realtor, I was provided 2 realtors that diligently worked on my behalf and worked on my needs. Within 30 days, we were able to close on a home. Best thing, the cash back was enough to cover all my closing costs. Wohoo!

Oct 03,2019Trina was an amazing realtor. We met her at an open house when she was showing another house. After talking to her, getting to know her, and learning about Reali we decided to ask her to be our agent. She was very helpful in setting up times for us to go in and see homes for sale. She was was also very good and quick at producing offer letters. In this market it was good to have an agent be able to send in your offer as soon as possible to be competitive. After we got our offer accepted we had a lot of negotiations, but Trina helped us navigate through everything and in the end we feel like we came out on top.

She is very specialized in all phases of the buying and selling of Real Estate and made the process very easy. My property was photographed and on the MLS in 3 days. The property was sold in 10 days. Trina put us at ease and gave us great advice on the home sale process. Everything was simple! We had a personal hardship occur during this process, and the team was very concerned and understanding. When we needed to sell our house this summer, we went to Reali for help. We saved thousands of dollars with Reali. Mel was a marvelous agent, who calmly helped us navigate a very complicated real estate market in Southern California. We will be going back to Reali when we get ready to buy again in the future.
