Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Feb 06,2025We ordered a sofa from this company which online stated it would be delivered in 5 working days. I emailed to ask what had happened as it had been around 7 working days now, they replied saying it would be leaving there warehouse in next few days, waited 3 days, still nothing, emailed again and they said THE SAME THING AGAIN, so I gave them benefit of the doubt and waited 3 more days, still nothing so I rang and they told me they had delays and the sofa wasn’t at there warehouse yet and they guarantee it would be picked up by courier on the week commencing 3rd Feb and would be delivered in same week. So the emails they sent were lies which is frustrating as I would have just like to be told the truth instead of lies. So 4th Feb the sofa was picked up by courier and the courier delivered next day which was great. So nearly 3 weeks later, after being told 5 working days, we finally have our sofa and it came all ok and is very nice overall and we are happy with it, just not happy with there customer service as I was told lies multiple times.

Jan 25,2025Couch was nothing like described, smaller and filled with cheap foam.... Propped it up myself and within 18months it's unusable. Messaged to ask if can buy new cushions or fillers and ignored. Same when originally bought, didn't give the feet and had to chase for it. Avoid like the plague, buy cheap, sell cheap and it's nothing like described

Jan 25,2025Excellent customer service, and kept up to date with any deliveries or delays, ordered sofas and bedroom furniture from them, lovely pieces that's arrived and easy to assemble, can't fault the company itself, would highly recommend and reuse to buy furniture, but after the delivery company damaged my sofa on delivery Rachel was quick to arrange a replacement unfortunately the wrong size turned up, still in talks with them over a replacement of the correct sofa being delivered or a discount on the damaged sofa and will repair on our end, please get back to me asap with a option thanks.

Jan 21,2025Got a new mattress and it's the best I've ever had. Have slept every night soundly and not woken up once in my usual stiff pain . The gel pillows are also fantastic for a good night's sleep. The 3 seater is not unpacked yet as we are in the middle of decorating the new gaming room
