Founded in 2014, Furniture Direct Online, a family business with over 40 years of expertise in the furniture industry. From the beginning Furniture Direct Online has been focused on supplying the best quality furniture at the most affordable prices for our customers.
In 2015 we moved to our brand new 80,000 sq ft warehouse in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. This progress allowed us to stock hold over 20,000 sofas and achieve fast, reliable deliveries.
In 2019 we faced the challenge of the global pandemic. With thousands of sofas in stock and the lounging lifestyle, we all became accustomed to during the lockdown. This is where Furniture Direct Online stepped up, to become a household name. Delivering over 100 sofas per day nationwide.
Here we are now, in 2024 with our new look and thousands of happy customers. Our mission still remains the same, striving to bring you incredible quality furniture at the most affordable prices with the absolute best customer experience.

Jan 16,2025I bought a L shaped sofa for £899 in April 2023. Within 9 months one of the main seams on the right section had began to split. I'm a seamstress and I can tell you that the fabric used to make these sofas is not the right weight or durability for upholstery! It had shredded at the seam as not enough fabric had been left at the reverse of it when sewn up. It also hadn't been adequately reinforced to withstand being sat on repeatedly. After 6 weeks of nagging this company they eventually replaced that section. It is now 9 months later, and exactly the same thing has happened again, to the replaced section! This time however the company are COMPLETELY ignoring any messages or emails I send, refusing to speak to me on the phone and have blocked me via ebay messaging (I purchased via their ebay shop). I am now having to go through citizens advice, and my credit card company to try to get this sorted. If that fails I'll be going through the small claims courts. For context - there are 2 of us living in my house and the sofa is only lightly used as I am at work all day!! A sofa should last more than 9 months without splitting at the seams! Do yourself a huge favour and avoid this company!!!

Jan 13,2025I ordered a corner sofa in May 2024 an had a problem with it, spoke to Rachel who said she will get a new sofa out to me. I'll be changing my review when I receive my new sofa to 5*. Still waiting on my new sofa to be delivered!!! EDITED ON THE 15TH OF FEBRUARY 2025: Received my new sofa on the 13th of February but its a silvery/grey colour instead of truffle 🤦♀️.

Jan 12,2025Received sofa but was missing 2 controls for the heat and massage functions so unable to use these functions spent £2000 to not be able to use sofa properly contacted customer service who said controls will be sent out that was a month ago you have 7 days to deliver controls or take sofa back Still waiting on these 10 days since you said it will be sent urgently next step will be taking legal action as Ive been waiting months for this

Jan 10,2025Was cautious of ordering a sofa online without seeing it first, however the quality is amazing. Customer service are really good, always reply within the hour. Would definitely recommend. I ordered on Christmas Day and the site stated deliveries after the 2nd January, however we were pleasantly surprised to receive a call to advise our sofa would be delivered on the 31st.

Jan 09,2025Ordered online, delivery was within 1 week. Drivers delivered the couch and we assembled the corner unit. There was a piece hidden, WhatsApp the company and they provided a response within 5 mins. The couch looks perfect 👌🏽
