Feb 20,2023The professionalism of GD Legal and Clare in particular was outstanding. We really felt as if there was a human being who, not only listened, but cared about our flat sale. Also GD Legal/Clare acted swiftly and competently in every situation. We knew they could be fully trusted to act and were always available on the phone when matters got complex. I cannot think of one fault. Very highly recommended - will definitely use again. Thank you GD Legal for your great assistance.

Feb 11,2023This company rarely answers the phone or emails either to other solicitors or their own clients. They rarely provided updates. They were generally very very slow to provide services but charged heavily for every "extra" not detailed in the original agreement.

Feb 04,2023A bit of mixed experience. I was assigned to two case handler, the first seems to be too busy to handle my case at the time. Some update were missing and I was unaware that the seller's side was in touch and the contract pack was ready for about two weeks (over a week since they received the pack). And I had to chase the agent to learn about it. However, things improved since I have been reassigned to Faizan. He has been responding promptly and updates are fast. There have been problems but they have been resolved and communication was good. Couldn't give better review owing to the initial experience but Faizan definitely earned the extra two stars (would have been one otherwise).

Jan 18,2023Absolutely useless property solicitors, I wonder if they are on the same planet! Seriously if you’re selling your property look for another conveyancing solicitor. From start to finish a complete circus 🤡 the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing!!! I’m still awaiting for the completion email along with the invoice. they’ve taken the money and the property sold in June yet completed on the 28th November!

Dec 12,2022Zumman Ahmed was excellent throughout the process of selling my house. Always responded quickly to queries and shared his professional insights on the sale as it went forward. I had contact with other members of the team who were similarly easy to communicate with. I was initially hesitant to proceed with GD Legal as my local estate agents were concerned that local knowledge could be important, but our sale completed faster than their initial predictions. Really pleased with the outcome, and warmly recommend Zumman.

Dec 06,2022Amazing service for GD Legal Solicitors. My Legal Advisor was Mo (Imogen Grosset) and she was excellent throughout. All the queries and doubts were handled very efficiently and there was no delay in response. She was always available either on phone or emails and the best thing is it was a direct line, nothing like press 1 or 2. I never thought that buying process could be this easy with Mo. She never got frustrated from our multiple and lengthy queries ( as we were first time buyers so everything was new to us). Thanks Mo for successful completion. I wish you all the best for your future. Everything from the start to end was prefect, I had a initial call with Mr. Lewis who managed to onboard my request on Saturday which is amazing, he was available on call initially to clear all the doubts. When working with Solicitors few things which matter most, availability, transparency, good advise and reasonable Price which you can get with them. Highly recommend and thanks for helping me buy my first house in the UK 🇬🇧.

Dec 01,2022Sadly unable to give this company anymore of my business . Recently completed on a sale with them and continuously gave them the benefit of the dought in relation to not responding to emails and phone calls but to take money as a fee ( from the proceeds of my sale) for a service they did not provide ( I redeemed my own mortgage, GD did not have to redeem it and they were informed of this weeks ago but they still expect me to pay) This , in my opinion is taking money they are not entitled to. They have never provided me with a final account of fees regardless of my asking for one. However have admitted to wrong accounting for other unexplained reasons. Unprofessional to say the least . Sad to say there will be no more business from me.

As first-time buyers, we were somewhat clueless as to the ins and outs of surveys and contracts, etc, but Myisha talked us through every step and always had time to answer any questions we had. She went above and beyond to help us resolve a post closure dispute, and everything she did was with a genuine interest in helping .To top it off, she has a great sense of humour and is an all-around lovely person. Nov 16,2022Me and my girlfriend are first time buyers and we used GD solicitors to help with the completion of the sale and I have to say they were amazing, helped us the whole way, was patient and explained everything really well. Zumman was our solicitor and he was great always happy to answer any of our questions, advised us the best he could when we ran into problems with the sale and just overall made a very daunting experience very smooth. Would 100% recommended and would also like to thank Zumman and the team.

The first was a very awkward probate sale with lack of communication for the other party, Sophie Shaw was professional and fantastic throughout. Second time was buying my property Taimoor Afza handled everything brilliant, the purchase took longer due to the other party but Taimoor was efficient and professional and moved things along! Can’t recommend this company enough great communication throughout.
