Jan 17,2024Zumman went above and beyond in all regards while helping me with my recent flat purchase. It was my second time going through a purchase, but the first time doing it on my own so I was a bit daunted. He always responded promptly to queries, actively chased other parties when needed and gave me sound advice when some tricky situations arose around the leasehold. At all times he was friendly, polite and approachable. 100% recommend him and GD Property to anyone who wants a job done well - and swiftly!

Dec 15,2023I’ll start by saying that it seems from other reviews like this company has many competent and diligent employees, but I can only speak about my experience which unfortunately has been absolutely awful. I suspect I may have dealt with the same person as is referenced in the review made on 5th October 2023 because our experiences were so similar: - requesting that I review and sign documents that I had already sent back, sometimes three or four times - losing crucial signed documents just a few days before exchange and completion. - presuming that I knew the intricacies of the process inside and out despite being a first time buyer (I spent so, so many hours on google) and not explaining what was required of me, by when and why. - so many mistakes made in important preparatory and legal documentation that I found myself having to request endless numbers of revisions. - sending incomplete, inaccurate and often incoherent email responses to my questions, all of which added to my worry and confusion at an already stressful time. - my broker had to step in after GD failed to send the requisite paperwork to my lender, nor the contract to me to sign until a couple of days before we exchanged and completed. - informed me on the morning of completion that they had forgotten to bill me for some line items and said that the sale wouldn’t go ahead until this was paid, causing more unnecessary stress. - they later communicated that I had been overcharged… - perhaps of greatest concern, on several occasions they passed on personal thoughts and information directly to the seller’s solicitor that was clearly meant for their eyes only in order to provide me with confidential legal advice (as in verbatim, cut and paste). This ultimately compromised my ability to negotiate in a number of key areas and was honestly a shocking breach of trust. All this to say, the employee themselves seemed like a nice enough person but woefully ill equipped to provide the service paid for which made the whole house buying experience 10x more stressful and upsetting than it needed to be. If you are considering using this company, my plea would be to vet the person you are assigned before you end up in the same mess I did.

Dec 07,2023I was a little sceptical at first using a conveyancer that was not local but i couldn't have been more wrong. The whole process with Mo Grossett was extremely slick and efficient. The online forms were easy to complete and Mo was quick to answer emails and queries. I would definitely recommend.

I had a dedicated solicitor dealing the the sale who kept me informed where we were in the process throughout, replied to any questions promptly. This is the second time I've used GD Property Solicitors and this service was just as good as the first time. Would happily recommend them.

Nov 30,2023Having never having used an online solicitors before I was slightly apprehensive to instruct one for the sale of my house. I instructed G D Property solicitors and was given a named contact straight away. The whole process has been seamless and Tulsi has exceeded my expectations. I requested for the completion to be done in a short time scale and did not have to push for this to be done at the required time. Tulsi was always available and very efficient. I am looking to buy and will be using this firm again as they have given me no reason to go elsewhere. Excellent customer service and professionalism through out. Thanks again and I reccomend to anyone looking for value for money and quality service.

Nov 02,2023Do not trust their quotes! I went with GD because they came up cheapest (£780) on a comparison site. Took 2 months after completion to get my statement and they took close to £1300! Given I was selling and most of the work would have been done by the buyers solicitor this is insane. The t's and c's state you will be contacted about extra charges but I imagine this relates to extra charges outside of the vast list of potential extra charges listed on the agreement as I never heard a word or agreed anything beyond the quoted fee. Absolute con! BEWARE! For sure these 5 star reviews are written by the paralegals name checking themselves. Not great service from GD Legal at all given there was barely any work to do with the sale. Requirements to chase multiple times, requests for forms I had already completed... Sale took eleven months, admittedly not entirely their fault as one sale fell through but can't look past the dishonesty in relation to fees.

Oct 31,2023This is the 2nd time I used GD Legal & I would continue to use them again. Zumman was my case handler and would always respond back to my emails the same day, most often in 15 20 mins. I've really valued having him as my case handler - there have been delays in the process which unfortunately where out of his hands and certain circumstances I was unsure about however I knew Zumman was always acting in my best interest. It's so refreshing to deal with someone that you can have a laugh with, it certainly makes the process easier. Thank you GD Legal & Zumman, look forward to using you again for my next sale & purchase 😊

Our estate agent recommended a firm of solicitors but I shopped around and decided to use GD legal mostly due to the unbiased advice I received when I first telephoned them . All I can say is we were very pleased with our choice, they were very knowledgeable and professional every step of a very traumatic process and we would highly recommended them in the future .
