Jun 30,2023I am rather shocked at how slow and unprofessional they are. Two months now with them and the searches haven't even started although they are paid for them. My 3rd house I am buying and I am extremely unhappy and trapped by their strategies. And I have the real estate breathing on my neck cause they are not doing their work. So many reasons to never use them again, be warned!

He responded to queries immediately and went out of his way to get the sales completed as stress free as possible for me. He handled everything in a very professional way, and I would not hesitate to use him again. Many thanks Faizan!

Jun 29,2023Found this company through a conveyancer comparison website. Was phoned by one of the directors who gave a very plausible pitch, and a “fixed fee” quote, which turned out to be anything but. Impossible to get anyone on the phone. Case was handled by 6 different people. The first person was incompetent--didn’t know how to use the “app” and was very slow in moving the sale forward. The “app” only runs on a mobile phone [not tablet or pc]. You can’t download any of the forms [TR1, etc]. I was repeatedly told I hadn’t filled out the forms, when I’d done so within 48 hrs of downloading. The problem with conveyancers like these is that they have you over a barrel. All the money for the house sale passes through them, so they effectively help themselves on completion day. Never received a completion statement until completion day itself, when an additional £200 charge appeared without any prior notice or justification. Read the terms of business very carefully. There’s a long list of extra charges which they can stick you with.

Jun 26,2023Incredible Service at the keenest price, so much so, you could be forgiven for thinking you aren't going to get the same Service as a local Solicitor but I have to tell you - its better! I would thoroughly recommend them especially James Pickering who dealt with our (what turned out to be) a complicated process. Use with total confidence.

Jun 19,2023Zumman Ahmed at GD legal dealt with my sale, he was exceptionally patient, professional and responsive, despite the sale being a difficult and protracted process. Despite all the additional work connected to the sale, the final bill was very reasonable and at least £500 cheaper than I quote I received from a local solicitor. I honestly cannot thank Zumman enough for his efforts, I would happily recommend him and GD legal to anyone and will certainly use them again in future.

Jun 14,2023Very happy with the company which handled buying our new house and selling our old one. There was a delay in the two transactions, making life more stressful and complained. Faizan, our case handler, was always prompt in replying to emails or phone calls, always within a few hours. All questions were sorted out, and we felt supported throughout. Would definitely use again.

Jun 06,2023Never used a solicitors before and was recommended GD by the estate agents, didn't know what to expect but lucky was given Myisha who helped us through with our first house buy, she was very helpful throughout, although we never met her in person she made us feel comfortable and at ease with the purchase of our home, would recommended Myisha highly. the app I found pointless as never gave you and update was only used for signing and sending stuff.

May 26,2023We worked with Faizan Akram on our house purchase and he made the whole process very smooth. I’d heard horror stories of solicitors never responding and so I was relieved that Faizan was always quick to respond and thorough in his approach. Our broker had made a spelling error but Faizan caught it before it delayed our timings. Throughout the process we felt we could trust him to take care of things which was a relief when buying our first home. Thank you Faizan! I also found Lewis who I first spoke to at GD to be so helpful, which is why we chose GD. I was anxious that once we were assigned a solicitor they might not be as great as Lewis but I wasn’t disappointed! All our dealings with GD have been positive. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

May 16,2023I engaged the services of GD Property Solicitors a couple of weeks ago to act on my behalf in the sale of my late father's flat. This decision was based largely on price but also supported by your reviews. I was never able to speak to the names person dealing with the conveyancing despite a couple of requests left with the receptionist. I downloaded their app as requested and followed the instructions to provide information. I also left messages on the app with some queries for the named conveyancer. I was not contacted by phone as requested nor was there any response to my queries left in the app. I felt that this was poor customer service so I withdrew my authority to act on my behalf. Be very wary about using these solicitors.

May 16,2023I can’t praise GD Legal enough .. selling my property .. totally on top of everything despite a difficult conveyance caused by the the buyer’s lawyer. I would like to thank Zumman in particular for his timely and strong dealings. Thoroughly recommend :)

May 13,2023Bought my first property with complications including a rent charge. Conveyancer Imogen Grosset was very helpful. Always available on the phone, reliable. My only quibble is that some things were not quite explained correctly at the start but this was soon cleared up. Imogen was also very firm in dealing with estate agent/vendors on our behalf which I quite appreciated.
