I booked a taxi at 5pm for 21:50 and at 23:30 I got told my taxi was cancelled. Thankfully I can stop over night at my friends. But what if I had to get home for my children? Or I was a single girl trying to get home from a party. This is how people get hurt at night! Despicable service!

Booked a car with this company at 5pm for 21:50 & it’s not 23:30 and I’ve just been told it’s cancelled. What if I was a single young girl on my own trying to get home? This is not a service! It’s disposable and clearly run by people who do not care about their customers!

Booked a taxi to get to work, the taxi turned up but didn't know where my house was. So I walked around my street for about 10 minutes looking for it and couldn't find it, then I received a missed taxi notification and the taxi service was fully booked until 9am. So I ended up having to walk to work and it took about 30 minutes, very inconvenient and unreliable and thanks to them I was late to work. By far the worst taxi company in the world. No respect for their customers at all and the taxi drivers are even worse. Would recommend using a different taxi company that is more reliable and professional. Do not use Go Carz.

Booked a Taxi for my partner who works for the NHS to get to work at A&E. Booked it at 5pm for Midnight pick up, was no show and had to bring a 3 year old out of bed to drive partner to work. Then today I called and asked for a taxi on the way back from a party at 4pm, the usual line of "10 minutes OK" 45 minutes later and 4 phone calls I cancelled the taxi and had to try and ask friends or family to come and find us and pick us up. paid in advance and judging by other reviews I will struggle to get my money back from these cowboys. Avoid them like covid!

Booked car to take me to the airport 2 days ahead of time. Car didn't show. Called office to ask how long it would be, office confirmed no car had been dispatched and told me to wait 20 mins whilst they "try to find a driver". Disgusting. Avoid!!!

Slightly worrying threat. We were picked up and dropped off by a very professional driver. Sadly despite being told that payment had gone through an error at their end meant it had not. We happily paid properly but not before the taxi controller believing mistakenly that we had intentionally not paid called me and began with “we will pay you a special little visit”. He said it twice before realising we were willing to pay. I do not believe this is a particularly reputable company as a result of what sounded like a veiled threat and am slightly concerned that they now have my address. I suggest using a more reputable service. He did not apologise in case you are interested.

I agree with all the critical reviews. The taxi was prepaid, which on reflection I shouldn't have done, for 6:30pm at a cricket ground but turned up late, citing traffic and parked away from the ground in a different place. There is always traffic in Birmingham and the taxi should be waiting at the right time still. I got many texts saying the car was changing over and again. I received several calls but couldn't understand the speaking voice properly. I became unwell and felt a fool with people making strange comments and wasn't all my fault by any means. The driver pocketed the money and picked someone else up with a number plate detailed from a text and I got a taxi an hour and a half late. I'm looking to forget the whole thing.

Extremely poor service. The drivers for this company are self employed and although I have found the drivers themselves to be very professional, cheerful and polite, the company is very badly run. My husband, who has cognitive brain damage has been using this service since April twice a week. He is taken to specific day care 20 miles away. As a regular user of this service I can say that they are nearly always late, often by half an hour, sometimes even more. Today was 35 minutes. There is no communication from the driver or the office to explain they will be late. One time my husband had to wait so long at his day care the staff were due to go home but had to stay late to make sure he was safe. I had to phone GoCarz as no one from there called me to apologise or explain. It took me 6 minutes for someone in the office to respond to my phone call and they ignored my texts and calls to the automated number. I have complained by email, by phone and spoken to someone at GoCarz customer services who did call me back. But it seems nothing can be done to improve this service. Maybe for single airport trips or nights out they are good at time keeping. I don't know.

Unfortunately there’s no option for zero stars. Yet another dreadful experience with Go Carz poor customer service. You have succeeded in spoiling another night out.

The worst taxi experience i have ever had. Extremely rude drivers swearing at us, driving above the speed limit and over charging. First booking was cancelled and we ended up being over 2 hours late. For anyone wanting to use this firm i would recomend walking, you will probably arive at your destination sooner. Honestly i am suprised this company is still running, it is obviously run by greedy hacks that dont care about their customers. DO NOT use go cars!!

So my taxi arrived at a point I didn't book as I used the app it would be a 3 min walk to the taxi. He called said he was by the cinema I said no issues on my way . 2 mins later I get a txt to say my taxi was canceled by the driver . Ffs great service I was half way to you and you canceled it. The problem in Telford is we only have one provider and they are shocking .

Booked a minibus for 12 people over a week in advance and quoted £28. They then sent two cars and charged us £22.80 for the first car and £41 for a 8 seater minibus. They never informed us in advance of the increased cost and charged us more for the 8 seater minibus than the 15 seater. Ended up costing £64 instead of £28. After we called and complained they said they will learn from it but I suspect this is a usual tactic to get more money out of people. Very poor company and won't use again. 1 star is too high.

I wouldn’t even give a 1 star!!! I booked a taxi and payed via Apple Pay, got to the drop off and said I didn’t pay!told me to call them, you can wait up to 1 hour to get through! So got paid double. F##king that’s never ever order through them!! Money grabbing t##ts!!!!

Absolutely horrendous service! Booked a taxi at 12:30, requesting to be picked up at 23:45 (well in advance), only for the taxi not to turn up and be left stranded literally in the middle of nowhere. When I finally spoke to someone I was told "there are no taxi's in your area, when one is available it will come for you". Sorry, when you book a taxi 11 hours in advance, it should be in your area at pickup time as there wouldn't have been any just in the area because the location was so remote. After multiple phone calls I finally got a taxi at 02:00, over 2 hours after my booked time. I would never use this company again and won't be recommending to anyone either.

We have had two horrendous experiences. What’s the point of a pre-booking system if the taxi doesn’t turn up when it is supposedly booked 🤷‍♀️ As admitted by the call handlers “their pre booking system is as good as worthless” I would definitely not recommend this service and advise others to avoid.

My moms taxi arrived to pick her up yesterday, as she grabbed her bags and walked over she was told to wait a minute as the driver was talking to his friend who was also waiting for a taxi. Then as she asked to get in the taxi he said he's not taking her now he's taking his friend. He was extremely rude when she questioned him and felt very intimidated. Long story short he left my mom without a taxi and drove off taking his mate instead.

Absolutely disgusting, I got a receipt to say I had paid when it hadn’t gone through, I had no cash on me so I was then accused of trying to get a taxi for free and shouted at! I was close to tears and had to borrow the cash from someone to quickly pay so I could get away! NEVER AGAIN will I use this firm! If I could give minus 5 stars I would!

Never met anyone who wanted to kill me before I got into a gocarz taxi. Awful drivers. If you want to live, probably best to avoid. If you’re a thrill seeker and don’t want to skydive, maybe this is the taxi company for you!

Do not trust this company. They have a strange business model whereby you can book taxis in advance but the drivers are all ‘self-employed’ and can refuse jobs at the last minute leaving the customer stranded until another driver can be found. This happened to us and without the help of a neighbour we would have missed a booked train. The company were totally unsympathetic saying it was out of their hands and denied having any type of contract or agreement with their drivers.
