Aug 06,2022The worst service I have known by a taxi company. Ordered taxi 3 hours ahead, explaining we have a train to catch and they advised suitable time for pick-up. When they did not show up we called them to see if they were on their way has we had to catch the train. Was then told that none of the drivers wanted this ride and apparently they were just not going to bother telling us either. They do not even deserve one star - bunch of cowboys, completely unprofessional, rude and incompetent.

Aug 03,2022Absolutely crap all the them are thick and don't listen and when you try to explain something them they hang up or be rude to you it's absolute joke why do I need to explain something to them, it's not hard to use your brain and use some common sense.

Aug 02,2022Dangerous is not too strong a word. We try not to use them but they are buying all other taxi firms in Shrewsbury and they get it wrong more than they get it right. Late is good, no taxi is common. Worse, when you complain, either the controller lies to you or blames their drivers for lying to them. My wife phoned up to complain after the last disaster and the controller put the phone down on her, probably fed up with taking complaints every other call, but still. Dangerous because if they were picking up my children or young relatives, you would not be able to rely on them leaving them stranded anywhere, anytime

Jul 31,2022Would like to leave a review for GoCarz. Myself and my 2 friends needed a last minute airport transfer from Manchester airport on Friday the taxi driver waited over 2 hours for us due to issues at the airport with luggage etc. Got us all home safely and swiftly after a 20 hour delay and carried our luggage to our doors thank you very much Ernest at Shrewsbury GoCarz and thank you to Shelley and Jake for over seeing the and sorting out journey. Please can this be passed on to the driver

Jul 29,2022Don't use this company under any circumstances. After us checking on our booking twice, they left us stranded in the countryside at midnight, somewhere completely unfamiliar to us. We managed to make alternative arrangements, but anyone else could have ended up in a really dangerous situation. Struggle to believe this is a legitimate functioning company.

Jul 28,2022AVOID USING!! Booked a taxi hours in advance for a birthday meal, the booking was confirmed and accepted by the app and via email. Taxi never turned up and when I called 15mins after their due time, I was told no one had yet been sent.

Jul 22,2022Absolutely terrible! Constantly late and have missed countless hospital appointments because of them. As an oncology patient (cancer), appointments are very important and I need to attend. I always prebook at least a day in advance and they still never arrive on time or at all. Do not use and would NOT recommend!

Jul 19,2022Would be none if possible. I booked the taxi in advance for my nan, who is 77 and can barely walk. She had a very important hospital appointment yesterday that she had been waiting 9 MONTHS for. When I didn't receive a text 5 minutes after he didn't arrive, I called up the office and asked where the taxi was. She said that there was one in the area and that she'd send him to us. THEY HADNT EVEN ASSIGNED US A DRIVER! At that point I had booked it almost 2 hours before. The driver turned out to be in dudley about 6 7 miles away. He called me and asked if we could wait whilst he did some shopping whilst he was there. I said no because at this point it is 4 minutes until my nan's appointment and it takes 15 to 20 to get there. I finally got a text saying he was outside so we went outside and saw nothing. He then called up and said he was outside sounding a little irritated that we weren't on the curb waiting for him. It was 37° at this point and also 37 minutes late at this point. I told him I was outside and couldn't see him. He then read out the address and it turns out he was at the wrong place. In the wrong village. So then we had to wait ANOTHER 10 minutes. He then proceeded to crawl to the hospital and we finally got there an hour and a half late for my nan's appointment. By the time we got there her doctor had gone home. So a waste of £14 which I told them I wanted something back because of the poor service and the wasted journey. I complained but received no reply. We got an uber back which is what I think I'll use from now on. Don't use this company. You'll be quicker walking it.

Avoid at all costs, booked a taxi 3 weeks in advance and on the morning we were waiting over an hour for it to arrive as they were very busy and didn't have a driver, book these clowns at your peril!! All said though I have to say the drivers were very polite and friendly

Jul 18,2022Awful, unreliable and rude. They cancelled our taxi which was pre booked with no warning and denied evwr having a booking, even though the driver tried to ring us?? After a major event on a weekend, we along with 15 others at least were left stranded by this company. Make the rules up as they go and completely unprofessional. AVOID

Jul 18,2022Booked and paid for a taxi one week in advance to collect us from Classic Ibiza at 11.15pm. Phoned them at 11.30, told no drivers in area at the moment and hundreds of bookings from that location. Told 10-15mins. Phoned again 30 mins later, told 10-15 mins. Go carz vehicles were coming and going throughout this time, some leaving with no passengers! Phoned again at 12.30pm, again told 10-15 mins and made a priority. Three Go Carz vehicles turned up but left without collecting passengers. None were for our booking. At 1am I received a text saying our taxi had arrived but they couldn’t contact us so it had left. By then there were only a few groups left waiting and we had approached every Go Carz vehicle without success! At 1.15am a Go Carz vehicle who didn’t have a booking took us to our destination, 11 mins away. Being told by one operator that the situation was stressing her out and another one telling me that they couldn’t turn down bookings in case they haven’t got enough drivers certainly wasn’t what I wanted to here. Disgusting service and I will never use again.

Jul 17,2022Avoid at all costs. At 11am we booked a taxi for 5 people to bring us back from Let’s Rock in Shrewsbury. We arranged a meeting place and a pick up time of 11:15pm. We were told that as they don’t have cabs to take 5 people 2 cabs would come for us. We were quoted a price for the 2 cabs together. At 11:15 we were at the designated destination. We got a text saying that there was a delay. A few minutes later 1 of the cabs turned up and took 3 of us home. They paid the quoted fee to the driver. The driver also told us that the other cab was in its way. At about 11:55 it still hadn’t turned up so we rang and were told it would be 10-15 minutes. At 12:15 it still hadn’t arrived so we rang again to be told it would be 10-15 minutes. At 12:30 it still hadn’t arrived so we rang again. This time the lady we spoke to checked where the driver was and waited on the phone until he arrived at 12:38. During all this time a number of this firm’s cabs had arrived for other people who we had seen arranging them. When we arrived home we were also made to pay the quoted fee even though we had been told that the fee was for the 2 cabs together and it had already been paid. The only reason for 1 star is that the drivers were friendly and polite. This firm however left 2 girls on their own in a vulnerable position in a town centre on a Saturday night for nearly an hour and a half to wait for a taxi that had been arranged 12 hours earlier and then charged double the quoted price.

Aug 15,2022Booked via app 4 days in advance to ensure we got our coach in time. Failed to arrive. Had to ring them 3 times!!! Booked again to come home (MORE FOOL ME). Failed to arrive! 2 more calls to them and they finally turned up 40 minutes later. DISGRACEFUL WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS AND TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS.
