Oct 29,2023Currently in a Go Carz taxi, the driving is absolutely appalling I don’t know how he even has a licence! Scared and worried that I will not actually get home alive. No consideration, late for collection and cost me £43.70 which I paid online but was asked for cash! I can’t believe this is actually allowed right now at this time in this country . Please avoid at all costs

Oct 26,2023Fraudulent, suspicious and knowingly conning people. They just explained to me that 'their app doesn't work', and that they can add money to your fare with absolute impunity. I booked a stop and return for £10.61, pressed accept, and it went to £14, reached my stop and got back in, it had changed to £18, then when I got home they changed it to £21! I have reported them to the Police. This added to constant lateness (despite pre-booking), the constant drivers changing their minds and cancelling when you've waited for a hour. Just an absolute shambles.

Oct 23,2023Taxi from Hadley Park Road to Hadley Park Hotel to drop off parents, then let my teenage children carry on to Stirchley to stay with grandparents - the taxi locked the kids in the car and asked them to pay an additional £35 cash (they didn’t have any cash on them) - they phoned me and he demanded I pay £35 for the taxi and then bank transfer him £35 to let the kids out of the car, or I would be sent a fine for not paying for the taxi (I paid via a link sent by text) - reporting to the police as he kept the kids locked in the car for almost 10 minutes after I paid him asking them for more money - absolutely disgusting company car reg starts FX65HW

Oct 21,2023Bizarre-est experiences over 4 days, several taxis turned up exactly as booked, several never turned up. Many a rude correspondance from the office. Called office when cabs didn’t turn up, saying they’d send 2 more straight away, no confirmation text or email, never turned up. Rang again, asked if they were just lying. Finally 45mins later 2 turned up. 2 more booked another time, they called on arrival, I answered, said ok we’ll be there soon now coming, less than 5 mins trying to leave a busy venue and I have texts saying they’re gone, missed taxis!! Less than 5 mins. This is not acceptable. Again rang office, please send them back this is not acceptable etc. 2 more arrive. Go to pay on the text links, they both say paid so I can’t pay again. Taxi drivers kicking off he’s not been paid, I keep telling him the links say paid. If they’re not in fact correct they need to send another link as I can’t pay on a link that already says paid. Go round in circles. Office telling me it’s not paid. Yes ok fine I know that but I still can’t pay you without a new link so please send one. No new links. Like arguing with a pigeon

Oct 20,2023Twice now I've booked taxis from go cars and they haven't turned up. I looked the taxi at 6:30 to pick me up at 7am. Phoned them just after 7 and was told it's on its way called them 15 mins later still told one is coming by half past was told they don't have any available till after 9am. They should of told me this at 7. Made me late for work again. I'll never use them again. They don't even deserve 1 star useless.

Oct 03,2023Used Go Carz for airport drop off. Apple AirPods dropped out of luggage into taxi boot. We were tracking the AirPods in his taxi. Every day from holiday we called Go Carz to ask them to call the driver, to be told he's not logged in so we can't call him !!! Once they got through then he logged out again ! Advised to complete lost property form online which we've done ... & guess what GO Carz have still done absolutely NOTHING not even an acknowledgment of our complaint to help us get our property back & we know he has them! No care & the honesty & integrity of the drivers they use is questionable! Won't use or recommend them again .. if you have a problem they don't care !!!!

Sep 30,2023Not to add money on when they feel like it with out telling you (being dropped off near a school, coming back a mile a way with shopping) and the asking why on the phone the lady puts the phone down on you, (rude just rude)

Sep 26,2023For all the negative views for GoCarz I cannot fault them for airport pick up - first time Ive ever took a chance and booked a taxi to be picked up after arriving at 4am following a flight from Cyprus. Not only was the driver on time he helped us with our luggage (i'm SSI) he was very friendly and took us home in good time in a very clean and modern taxi - really pleased and will use go carz again in the future

Sep 23,2023I’m leaving this message not because I’ve used the service but more to do with the quality of driving. I experienced this evening. When I had to pop out in my own vehicle, I had pulled out of my drive, I could see a taxi coming around the corner towards my house, he then pulled up alongside a parked car and a refused to move so I had to mount the curb close to a neighbours car to allow him to pass, I continued on my journey to a junction around the corner from my house, and was met with the same taxi driver, who proceeded to cut the corner to try and get in front of me on the wrong side of the road, from this junction to the next was only approximately 40 yards he was still on the wrong side of the road, trying to race to get past me, we got to the junction and this then caused an issue with other motorists who were on the main road. They had to stop as they were clueless as to what was happening, I wound my window down and asked him what he was playing at, a very dangerous manoeuvre, I will be reporting this to the police as I have his badge number and description but unfortunately don’t have his registration as it was dark, I’ve experienced a lot of bad driving on roads around Telford over the years and this company seems to be the worst out of the lot, very inconsiderate drivers to anyone else that uses the highway. I think if I ever needed to use a taxi, I would rather walk, much safer

Sep 18,2023We were catching a coach to go on our holidays.they were 10 mins late so I phoned up to see if they were coming.the girl on the phone abruptly said. "It will be 7 minutes".I said to her I wasn't very happy with that as it was already 10 minutes late and we were catching a coach.she said very abruptly again." it will be 7 minutes".no word of apology.we only just caught our coach.it was waiting for us.this is the 2nd time they have been late.we won't be using them again.

Sep 09,2023Daughter booked taxi to return about 4 miles from a wedding party at £22.50, driver charged £32.50 for the 10 minute journey paid by debit card, Despite my daughter querying this with reference etc, Go carz claim it is up to the driver not their responsibility, only option is to contact Police! Shocking fraudulent behaviour.

Aug 24,2023Unreliable, untrustworthy & will never use this service again….. Sent 2 taxis (4 seater) when we booked only one (6 seater).Tried to charge us for the 2 taxis & they cancelled the return journey. If you need a taxi in Oswestry, avoid this company & find someone else who is more reliable and better service. Someone who will turn up when they say they will, for the price originally quoted !

Aug 13,2023Not happy my daughters went alberts shed last night a random go cars driver stopped wound down the window told them to get in with two random other girls and told them he would take them to Wellington. He dropped the other 2 random girls off at Telford centre then my 2 off at Wellington when he got to my house he refused to let them out of car until they paid £15 cash. He was aggressive and rude he stunk and was of Indian origin all I can say is my daughters should of woke me shame on you taking advantage of 2 young girls not happy 😡😡

Aug 08,2023Fantastic swift service Car booked, paid for and collected me in 13 minutes, even at 7 am after Uber let me down So easy to book online on the app (quick to download and easy to use process) Great communication throughout Useful to see driver's progress to collect me on the live map (track my driver) so I wasn't standing outside waiting for long Lovely friendly driver Safe journey Will use again and definitely recommend

Booked a taxi via the app giving a couple of minutes short of 24 hours notice and had it all confirmed by email but 15 minutes AFTER the pick up time called them to see where they were to be told no cars available for at least 40 minutes - no call to tell us this allowing us to make alternative arrangements. Apologetic on the phone but the booking shouldn’t have been confirmed if they had no intention of honouring it.

Oct 30,2023I don't normally have any issues with Telford's Go Carz but I was unfortunate to be picked up by a bad driver last Thursday evening outside The Mercure Hotel,there was an event on, and straight away the driver said "w t f "is going on here?". I didn't feel comfortable at all through out the journey, thankfully I didn't have far to go. If I asked a question I was asked "what? what? what?"which I found ill mannered, my general impression was that this person was not fit to be a taxi driver, please sort this matter out.
