Awful experience tonight when our prebooked and pre quoted for minibus arrived 15 minutes late and then refused to acknowledge our quote - saying we were on a meter instead. He refused to drive and told us we (4 women - 10 miles from home at 1am) could get out and walk instead. We called the office and they said they didn’t know how they could resolve the situation. We asked them to call the driver which they never did - in the end we got out of the car and had to call an Uber! The driver accused us of using the ‘woman’ card and said he had 5 children to feed! Driver Ali was very aggressive, angry and rude. Would never use again!

This is the worst taxi company EVER and should not be allowed to trade, I've now had the displeasure of using them in 2 different areas and all as bad. No chance of avoiding them when only company to choose from!! I was the last drop off in Telford and on my own in an isolated area and then told by the taxi driver that suddenly the fare was another 10 pound, I felt very unsafe and handed this over, I cant actually believe they are getting away with this. Last week booked a taxi to take us to Wolverhampton, turned up 1 hour 15 minutes late and ruined our entire night 😡😡 WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

Every week I pre-book a taxi from the night before hoping to get to work on time and only once has it ever turned up on time and you know why that is….. I start work at 7:30 am and I had to book the taxi for 6:30 am, so I ended up arriving at work for 7am, simply because GoCarz told me that if I want to be at work on time, not only book from the night before but also make sure that you are at least at work an hour before the start time because you can’t be booking a taxi close to the time when you start. This taxi service has become one of the worst I’ve ever experienced and it’s pointless complaining because either you get spoken to disrespectfully by them on the phone, or customer services say sorry we are doing our best.

The car service itself was very good however, the app has made this service extremely poor. Unreliable!

Every Sunday I prebook a taxi to and from work for all week, everyday it is late and every day I get docked so unreliable and when you call all they ever say is it’s busy this time of the day, yes I know! That’s why I prebook! Why take over every other taxi company if you can’t meet the demand, absolutely useless, I definitely wouldn’t use if there was another taxi firm in Telford

Twice now this has happened, what good is the app if you pre book a taxi for a certain time, it doesn’t show up and then when you ring you are told oh no we’re busy we will be another half an hour!! Making me late for work, last week the response from the operator was what do you want me to do about it and this morning the call was ended on me! Disgusting unreliable service

I, was picked up from New Cross outpatients department this afternoon 26th November 2021,and told the driver I was going to dudley Rd, he asked me where about, I told him park St South, he said that's not dudley Rd but agreed to take me, I asked him if we passed a shop on the way because I needed to buy something but realised the only shops were on dudley Rd, so I asked him to drop me off at the top of dudley Road but he said he wasn't going there, he dropped me off at the corner of sedley St and said he was busy and had other jobs to do, he charged me £5.20,,i had just come from the hospital and could hardly walk with a foot injury, plus I was paying for my fair, so I had to walk from sedley St to park St South in a heavy hail storm, I was paying for my journey but he decided his other jobs were more important, I have never had to complain before but he was really in the wrong. Worst ever experienced that ruined not only my evening but also kids . I booked a taxi yesterday for today. I explained I need taxi to be on time as in a morning I need to be on time for work and in the evening I need to be on time to pick up kids. Taxi in the morning arrived almost in time. But the one for evening was AN HOUR LATE! AND I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR IT! I WAITED AN HOUR FOR TAXI FREEZING OUTSIDE . I phoned the company straight after few mins my taxi was late. They apologized and said to wait 10 mins. I received a SMS saying my booking is prioritised and taxi should be there soon. So I waited. After next 15 mins I phoned again and again I was told to wait -7-8 mins so I did that. I phoned again . AUTOMATIC VOICE STILL DIDNT CONFIRM ANYONE BEING ON THE WAY! Waited 5 mins to be connected. Then I was put in hold by customer advisor as she couldn't reach dispatch base. And again I was told to wait 8-9 mins after I waited on my phone for another 15. So basically I booked taxi for 14:35 and it arrived 15:35 I was late to pick up my kids and late to deal with the rest I have to do. How unfair is that? I'll not be using this company again AVOID IF YOU CAN.

When is enough ever enough. Unfortunately ive had to use go carz due to a motorbility contract because my scooter is on for repair. What a total flip from morning and day drivers to night ones. Extremely pleasant and friendly morning drivers however i lt might just be myself but when questioning the driver as he pulls away why he had a mobile phone on hes lap. While driving might i add . That was last week ever night i find the attitude arrogant, let alone tonights fiasco when i asked if the driver was on the phone via hes ear pod. He flipped saying i was on the phone so why not him.now this escalated to me being kicked out hes taxi and him accusing me of trying to Dodge the fair.( Money was in my hand) he then drove off with one my bags. Took me over thirty minutes to get my bag back and i had to pay for not only original fair but from where this driver had just dropped off. Since go carz got took over there reputation has gone down hill massively but alas it falls on deaf ears because there owner is all about the money and has forgotten like most hes drivers. That the humble customer is what they need to keep going. After tonight i would definitely say go carz is not my 1ST choice in taxis in telford.

Con artists!! Can’t book a taxi on the app for 5am or just after for work. But, can book one for 4:55am at £2.50 more! Then, the app doesn’t even get a car allocated till gone 5am sometimes 5:15am….And still charges you the increased fee! Happens to me nearly every morning when on earlys. Can anyone tell me how a town the size of Telford can only have one taxi firm?? How do the council allow a monopoly. Thought that wasn’t allowed to happen!!

When they turn up, then they're great. But not even pre-booking can get these guys to turn up on time....and there is zero help even when you pre-book by an hour just to get to work on time. Gocars has become a major joke 😡

DONT DESERVE ONE STAR AS A WASTE OF SPACE TAXI SERVICE!! I Have the app booked taxi EIGHT hours before pick up 4 mile trip to Ironbridge . 30 mins late . Rang and eventually got through to be given some bull crap about how good they are LMAO !!! Had booked a return at same time for 9pm pick up . An hour late this time and only reason we got one is that the driver had a drop off at Ironbridge. The council aren’t bothered don’t give a damn . Is there another taxi service in Telford ? And do they do CRB checks on their drivers ?

Useless company. Booked a Taxi two and a half hours ahead of time. It did not come so I phoned up, only to be told "there are no taxis in your area".

Booked 2 taxis for 5:30pm at midday to make sure we don't have any problems. At 5:35pm received a text that they were very busy and taxis are delayed. Tried to call them and no answer. One car eventually arrived at 5:50pm with no sign of the second car and the driver just shrugged his shoulders. We missed the train we wanted to catch! Had to get a UBER for the second taxi.

My daughter waited over 2 hours at night stood outdoors for a taxi to come and it still didn’t turn up. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND. We both tried phoning Go Carz as I couldn’t get out to her and no one answered the phone. Extremely poor service. Awful and extremely upsetting for my daughter.

Absolutely awful. Taxi didnt turn up after an hour of waiting yet app stated 4 mins waiting time!! Yes 4 mins! I called and a rude female answered. I asked how long would my taxi be, she said at least 15 mins, I said it was over an hour late and she said they were busy and she hung up! Rude, rough speaking staff. Taxi didnt return up! What more can I say apart from AVOID!!

Didn't want to give 1 star but you have to to make a review! Been using you guys since jou started, was stranded the other day because the phone just rings then you get a txt saying use the app! God forbid anyone was actually in trouble! Why take over royals and diamond if you can't cope with the demand of customers? Your just making yourselves look bad now, maybe you've taken on too much? Other taxi firms will come along and no one will touch you!? Why do it to a thriving company?

Absolute rubbish. After 35 minutes waiting I finally got to speak to someone who said the taxi was on its way and would be with us in 10 minutes. After another 20 minutes I phoned but no one answered. I tried again later only to be told there was no booking! Two minutes later a taxi arrived.
