I will not be using GoCarz ever again, I have been a regular customer for over 7 years, I’ve spent a fortune. They have never been perfect but recently they have got really bad, I work in Care and book my taxi’s the night before and like to pay by card and I have no lost count of the amount of times my taxi has been late or hasn’t bothered to turn up at the time I have booked it for, this makes me late for work which is dangerous as I have residents to look after. I’ve complained about this countless times only to be told I’m now on a “priority list” where my bookings will get priority and yet I’m still suffering the same issues! Alongside this, a lot of the taxi drivers don’t practice the best hygiene which makes the journey uncomfortable, some of the cars look like they should be crushed and aren’t road worthy! And lastly throughout the pandemic they have become very very greedy! They’ve had about 3 or 4 price increases in one year! This time last year I was paying £5.80 for my standard journey to work, today I went to book my taxi for tomorrow morning and see the price is at £8.60! That is a £2.80 difference which is astounding! This was the last straw for me as I’ve watched their prices creep up for months now whilst other taxi comments are charging £6 for the same journey so I’ll be sticking with them and ditching GoCarz for good!

Booked a taxi for 10.30pm larst night but I booked it from early afternoon. At 10.30pm I'm stood waiting and no taxi ,10.40 pm I'm ringing up to find out were my taxi is I was told ten mins 10.50pm I'm ringing up again to be told to hold on then I had a text to say the taxi is out side NO Taxi .11.20 pm gone to different taxi companie what a joke I have reported them to the council as well.

Shambles, absolutely chaos. Never have I experienced such an unreliable taxi company, how they stay in business is beyond me. Never on time, over charge even though you are supposed to be able pay on the app, this does not work. I booked 2 taxis in one day & both came with total disorganised chaos , head office had no idea what was happening. I wish there was an alternative. I was promised a call back but as usual this never happened

Absolutely shocking. Booked a taxi for 6pm, this was booked early afternoon to get to a surprise birthday. Waited and waited…. Eventually phoned to be greeted with a pre recorded message of “When you use our app you are in control “ ….. “In a hurry do not worry”. After waiting to be answered for over 6 minutes, we were told we were now a priority dispatch and the car was under 10 minutes away. Ok so we miss surprise but at least we get there? Wrong…. 20 minutes later still waiting. Phoned again… sorry it’ll be another 15-20 minutes. When you pre-book this is no guarantee of a taxi, drivers pick and choose their jobs. So Gocarz why even bother with an app that you can pre-book on? Because we’re certainly not in the driving seat are we? No we are in the waiting area, missing everything from trains, concerts, family gatherings and things that are important. Hopefully there will be a competitor soon, because as a business everything about you is shocking!

Booked a taxi 3 hours before pick up time on the app so I missed the queues but the app did not allocate me a driver even at the time of pick up. I called to see where my taxi was and the operator told me it would be 10 minutes when the app eventually said 23 minutes. I obviously cancelled bit the operator was so rude and un professional. APP deleted.

All ways a let down when I need them for work. ordered in advance doesn’t make a difference I have no clue why they take bookings. Sticking to Uber from now on less hassle.

I ordered a taxi for my mum on Sunday night for Monday morning at 09:10! The taxi driver phoned me and was very ignorant even as I was giving directions on the phone. He hung up, went a different route, I cancelled it. There is no need for ignorance!

Overall worst experience out off all taxi operators. Bottom line waited over1.5h and wasted time. App accepts bookings to areas where company don’t have service. Operator lies about taxi being booked and dispatched when it is not. You have to make proponents by links in messages outside app without . No one seems to know what’s happening and driver can’t find his way and calling to inform me that he will be late because he took wrong turn. It would sound like a fun story but reality is that people plan their day and time and have to work and disrespect customer time and such unprofessional poor service should not even exist. My strong advise to pick up different company if you can.

Super incorrect! from two weeks when I book a car or it's late or it doesn't come at all and the drivers smell and are disgusting! This morning I was late for work again, and I booked a taxi from the evening, if it wasn't for my husband to take me I don't know what I would do… please take measures we still live in the 21st century !!!

Where to start! This company does not even deserve a star. Worst customer service experienced to date! They have no idea about how to provide a service to their customers. Absolutely atrocious and disgusting, rude with no sense of responsibility to its users whatsoever. Definitely need more taxi companies in the Midlands to put this company in its place. Delays every time. Drives ask for extra cash on the side for waiting time even though they are late every time! Drivers also call up themselves to cancel due to whatever reasons they feel like literally last minute and especially as a parent your stressing it is already late in arriving and your child will be the last to be picked up from school and will be back late for work due to their dominance and monopoly of being the only taxi firm in the area. A regulating body desperately needs to look into their code of ethics and service, this is unacceptable to any consumer. They don’t deserve to be called a taxi cab service! Their modus operandi is take it or leave it as we just do not care..

Honestly, terrible. Especially here in Telford. They don’t prioritise people’s occupation in mornings and only care about school runs. Very bad reputation. 1 out of 10 cars will actually smell fresh and look clean & maybe 2-3 drives Out of 10 are welcoming & polite. Most are already on a phone call or are just ignorant. Some demand money up front when the overall experience could be bad and not up to your standard. In this case there should be room for disagreement. E.g (not happy with food - don’t pay for it or ask for a replacement) especially when your paying for a travel experience. I’ve had an instance once where I’ve had to argue with the operator just because I wanted a different taxis. What if I knew the driver and didn’t like them? Could be anything , but what it isn’t - is your business! Not reliable at any time of day. For The past Nearly 8 weeks there’s 20/30 minutes wait every single day. Something seriously needs To be done. Guidelines put in place. Standards to meet ! Weekly/ daily check lists - anything !!!! I offer colleagues / acquaintances for lifts ahead of my route just so I’m Guaranteed to get to where I need to be on time & offer to pay more just for in inconvenience. This taxi company had urged me to start driving that’s how bad and unreliable it is. That’s the only benefit I’m getting from all the stress. I can’t even go in to moan about my new work place & how I’m just about passing my probation Due to the inconvenience the taxis are causing. Proper headache & eyes rolling when I have to call for a taxi knowing it’s all I have to resort to. & I don’t want your generic apology- the company’s full of bull & will always be the same.

Truly awful and don't even deserve 1 star. We are constantly let down by Gocarz - they are never on time and will cancel a taxi at short notice with no care or apology. We booked a taxi to the train station 24 hours in advance for 5am. We even allowed them half an hour to be late (why you should have to do this any way is a joke) and added this time on to our booking but they didn't show at all. We had to drive to the train station and leave our car there for a week which added additional costs and a lot of last minute stress as we couldn't miss our train and had no one to call on at that unreasonable hour. Thankfully we are lucky to have the option to drive and leave our car but for those who don't, they would never had made the train. Absolutely shocking service - Avoid at all costs and book with the new taxi company First Choice who are reliable and honest!

Absolutely poor. Usually good, however it takes one bad experience to unsettle and to destroy your faith in a normally reliable company. Left me high and dry today with no apologies whatsoever. I won't be using them again.

Never on time. Always miss my appointments. Pathetic service. If you book a taxi for right now you get one. But if you book one in advance its late and no point to it. Just stress for you.

This company is a joke. There’s never a car available, drivers turn up late and some of the cars aren’t very clean. To top that the have increased their fares on a weekend. And week days from 2pm. I’ve stopped using car Carz unless I’m really desperate. On a few times Uber has worked out cheaper than go Carz.

The service recently is horrendous! I prebooked a taxi a whole day before I needed it, and it still turned up 20minutes late I got left stranded in Wellington at 3am because the operator kept hanging up the phone on me Constantly late or really long wait times and still expect you to pay full price! Not impressed at all

Another let down. 25 minutes later still no taxi. It’s not shocking it’s predictable. Only use them if you’re absolutely desperate
