Taxi showed up early and left 5 minutes before the time I had booked it for, cancelled my booking and recorded the wrong destination in the first place. No explanation. No apology. Awful service. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a reliable service.
Never use this company- they promise to collect you and don’t!!! My nephew who is disabled has been abandoned twice has been left waiting for over an hour and they have slammed the phone down with no apology- don’t use them - they are frighteningly incompetent!!
Dreadful taxi company and basically the only one in Telford so left with little to no choice. They must have about 3 cars on the road at all times. It’s always incredibly long waits, I will book the taxi the night before for the morning for work and it is 9/10 always late. Drivers themselves complain that they are constantly picking up unhappy people due to waiting. It’s an absolute shambles, if you’re going to provide a service make sure you can fulfill your demand.
Pre booked a taxi, Go Carz can’t even deliver on this. Then told us that we have cancelled on a taxi while we are stranded and unable to get home. Horrific.

This car,taxi company have a monopoly in Telford. This is bad as their service is pathetic. I used them to go to a party and booked for return journey. Only to have to cancel and rebook. Why!!!!. The stupid app, i wanted to change the address. But NO option. Its not the drivers fault but the app. And the company. Its not as if I wanted a taxi at stupid o'clock. It was 9 pm. So they were not busy. Sort it. As a monopoly on Telford and Wrekin is not good. We need choice. DO SOMETHING.!!!
Driven into by one of gocarz drivers who then failed to stop. When I contacted the company they were less than helpful and I was told is wasn't their problem. Terrible customer service and terrible standard of driving evidenced.
The people leaving 1 star reviews clearly have no understanding of how the taxi trade works. The drivers are self employed and do the jobs they want. They won't do awkward or unprofitable jobs when better ones are available. The drivers get no holiday pay, no sick pay,no pension or anything else that a paye employee gets so don't expect them to choose your piddling job over a good job. They are not charity or social workers. That's the price you pay for cheap transport. It is not GoCarz fault as they cannot make the drivers do anything. All they do is take bookings and offer the jobs to the drivers. If no one wants the job, it is hard luck. That is how every taxi company in the country operates . It isnot an " on demand" service. Hope this helps people understand.
Awful, took my partner to the wrong McDonald’s even though he selected the right one, then when my partners tells him it’s the wrong one he continues to take the payment and confirm another booking from someone else and tells him well I’m here! Thanks to him my partner was late to work on his second day there. Disgusting
I,m baffled at how ì can book a Taxi 24 hours in advance and it be 20 mins late, when i called Operator said sorry no cars in area but i booked 24 hours in advance for this reason as a result missed my train to Birmingham, missed my coach and subsequently missed my opportunity of a new Job. Thanks a lot, maybe they should change their name to No Cars.
Useless company of late, can never seem to get a taxi to anywhere, could it be because a lot of their drivers are prioritising food delivery with the likes of Uber etc…? Very poor service!
I have to say that since using your cars ,the service has always been very good from the booking to picking me up ,staff helpful and drivers always courteous and polite ,I like getting the message informing me that my driver is on his way and also where he actually is on route ,continue the good service
Absolutely terrible booked a taxi an hour before I wanted it to arrive and been on the phone for over 40 minutes trying to get through to ask them where it is
I booked a day in advance to go to the train station, had the booking confirmed and no taxi turned up, when I rang they were not apologetic and displayed no concern that we were stressed as we obviously had a train to catch. They quoted I had put double post code on my booking and the computer threw it out, but I had a confirmation of the trip from them and used them the previous evening for a trip and the double post code was the same and the car arrived so basically an incorrect excuse instead of apologizing and being honest. Very poor customer service
DONT USE THIS COMPANY!! If you are drunk they WILL take advantage of you. I paid driver £40 upfront to take my sister home, the fare was really £30 but he made me give £40. Then said my sister was sick in his car so charged her £70 and then at the end of the journey took advantage of her and made her pay for the taxi again, so she gave him another £30 when i'd already give him £40! DONT USE!!!!
Poor - Not happy. Phoned to chase - held for 8 minutes just to be told it’s on the way. 45 minutes later still no show so kind person from restaurant gave us lift home.
Complete tossers do not answer the phones, don’t turn up on time and complete waste of time, never use them they do not deserve to be in business
Absolutely horrible, don’t ever use this service. If your fare isn’t over £5 they just don’t bother arriving, they don’t know where they are going AND when I tried to call to put in a complaint as I’ve booked a repeating taxi for every day, EVERY SINGLE DAY I HAD TO CALL IN TO SAY IT DIDN’T ARRIVE!! My mum has been late to work almost every day this week because of how incompetent these people are. They only send one off because you’ve called in to ask about it, otherwise it would never arrive. I decided to book on the app after a day out to see if that was any different but not only did the driver arrive at the wrong place even though I put in the correct one, but after trying to tell him, I quickly realised he could either not hear me or not understand me which made it so much more difficult, he did not know the area very well and after a while, he just cancelled the taxi and it said the registration was pending. When I completely cancelled it and tried to book a new one, it said I couldn’t book one for before 17:30?? So I booked one for that time and had to wait just for him to arrive late.
I booked a trip for a hospital appointment, I also emailed to confirm the booking. The following morning no taxi had arrived, another taxi was booked and this driver cancelled. No response to emails.

Aug 29,2021Booked a 5 seater to the train station. Allowed about 15 mins extra in case they were busy. Taxi did not turn up, offered another that would not arrive on time to catch my train. Had to wait an hour for the next train, not very happy
