Hate to sound like a karen but after my taxi arrived the driver wasnt wearing a mask until the last 1/2 mile of the journey and it seemed like he was a bit sick as well as he looked quite pale and was coughing a lot throughout the whole journey. I wouldnt have put this up if i wasnt a ex-covid patient but i was diagnosed last year and im still afraid of getting it again.

Well im study here again Taxi is very late 3 times in a row now even though i pre booked via the app 12 hours ago. So im missing my childs school run again which means more grief when i get home It comes across that alot of the drivers are greedy and dont want to accept the low cost jobs I advise strongly to use an alternative firm Il be looking from today I am One very pissed off customer

They need to start updateing there app or tell there drives to use google maps if they cant use the crap waves app what is no good and they need to tell the drivers to have some respect when they call to see where about you am

I'm giving GoCarz a 1 Star Rating because the driver was too busy paying attention to his Sat Nav and talking on the phone than he was the road. This caused him to drift into the other lane, as we were on a dual carriage way and had to sharply move the car back into the correct lane, which then made the car behind pap his horn as he drove past, disgusting driving for a taxi driver. He even over charged me as I had already paid the full fare by card but charged me extra, and he didn't take me any further than the destination booked. Really not impressed GoCarz

Would have given zero if possible. 1st driver did not wear face covering, had a difficult attitude and wanted to tell me why I had booked a 6 seater. Bad experience. 2nd driver on return leg went to a further pick up than necessary and then made us walk with an old lady with limited mobility. We set off and he told us he knew where to go, turned off his sat nap and spent the journey messing with his phone and did not know where he was going. Used to use these guys before lockdown and seemed fine. Now terrible

Booked a taxi with GoCarz in Shrewsbury yesterday for a medical (NHS) appointment today. Got confirmation text yesterday, online payment authorised and they didn't arrive at the requested time. Phoned them, spent 4 minutes waiting, explained the situation, and was told "will see what we can do". I had to cancel the medical appointment, apologising for not coming. 2 GoCarz cabs arrived at the same time 23 minutes after the agreed time and after I'd cancelled the medical appointment. Useless GoCarz or, as Boris describes Matt Hancock, """"ing hopeless.

If I could give this a 0 star rating I would phoned taxi said outside were not outside he said on his way I phoned again saying I would be late for appointment to be told to get another taxi..phoned office lady polite who I spoke to waiting on a manager to phone me.... We shall see if they do

I would give this company no stars if I could. They truly have zero concern for their customers. The council should take away their ability to trade. They don’t turn up and when you call their call centre, when they realise they can’t fulfill the order they just cut you off. Horrible, nasty company.

Booked our taxi for 10pm. Our driver sent a texted message and rang to say they were outside at 09:55. However, after coming out straight away out taxi was no where to be seen. Straight away we were on the phone to the taxi company (gocarz) who then put us on hold for 15 minute in total. We were then told our taxi driver was 5 minutes away to then pick us up. After 35 minutes our taxi driver then turned up. Finally a taxi turned up who then drove up before the three of us were able to put our seat belts on.

I called Go carz just after 5pm to reserve a taxi for my daughter who was finishing a shift at 9pm. I advised the call handler that I would like a taxi at 21:10 for journey that was going to be a few miles. I didn't want my daughter, who is under 18 walking alone through unlit park to get home, therefore taxi seemed the quickest way to get her home. 21:10 came, no notification from the driver so I called Go Carz again to check status and was told no driver avaliable for another 20 mins. I am glad I didn't make a payment in advance. Their reputation is certainly not going to improve with this poor service. There were no buses at that time of an evening. I ended up walking to meet her so she can feel safe going home. I don't believe Go Carz understand customer service. If you prebook, why is there no availability? I would definitely avoid using and certainly not recommend this firm.

AVOID. take yr booking and don’t turn up! Booked 1 hour in advance. Still no show. Call repeatedly. Initially told driver is ‘five minutes away’. When called 10 mins later, just stuck on hold indefinitely. Waited 50 mins. No show!

Ive just returned home after a taxi failed to pick up my sister and partner to take them to thr station for their holiday! Taxi was booked 2 hours before they needed collecting and when the time came to pick them up no taxi arrived. They called the office to be told drivers were still bidding for the job! Still bidding after the job should start!!! A driver then 'won' ghe job who turns out to be over 20 minutes away!! Then after not that long the driver cancels the job. Another phone call to the office to only be told there is no drivers in the area! Terrible service, no apologises. This will be taken further.

I got in a taxi to go home with my 2 year old and 3 year old and once pulled up outside mine the taxi driver said that my card payment was not going through which I dont understand why there pay thing must play up cus i 100% had the money in the bank he locked me and my 2 children in the car and my partner phoned telling him he will bring it in cash in 10 minuits so he opened the door and told me it was open me and my kids got out and as I was getting out I said can u open the boot and as I tried the boot he sped off with everything we had my door keys my bank card my kids pram buggy board my son was asleep on my lap so hadnt had his shoes or coat on(come from my moms) he had it all my sons favorite blanket he cudnt sleep without and a few bags of stuff we ended up being locked out my flat with my 2 year old and my 3 year old who had no shoes no coat nothing at 9pm on the night freezing!! We called the base he went back and told them I was fighting him in the taxi and that's why he drove off with my things and dissnt wait for payment? I had my children on my lap in the taxi and I did not threaten him in anyway!! ... anyway because he said that the base said it was my fault they back there driver all the way and said he dropped them at wednesfield police station I went there the shutters was down because it's not open to public only when I done this and spoke to them they told me he diddnt and said because of what's happened hes gone home with all my things in the boot of his car and will drop them 8.30 in the morning then the next day I phone at 8.30 they said he wont no were my stuff is till 10 then at 10 they say he worked late till 11.30 so not aloud to phone him or anything till lunch time(they told me he went home after going with my things at 9pm) then they said would be about 4/5 then spoke to a few diffrent people getting cut off the phone ect before they do actually call and tell me hes now finally dropped it at the base

Just awful service. We placed a booking 2 days in advance for midday..... it turned out no cars were available!!!! We ended up driving! Why accept a booking if you can’t deliver...... if you out of town don’t rely on this company!!!! I have never experienced such poor service after living in Shropshire all my life. It used to be that taxis always delivered..... not since go carz took over !!! There drivers are also very dangerous! They have no respect for other road users let alone for their passengers!

Absolutely appalling service. Booked a taxi for 11pm to take me home after a night out,taxi hadn't arrived at 11pm so I rang because it hadn't been dispatched and I managed to speak to someone who told me it could be 30mins to a hour. I explained I was not happy as the pubs were kicking out and I was stuck on a carpark and there was lots of drunk rowdy people about. I ended having to hide to get away from the drunken crowds that were increasing.

Not a good experience Booked a taxi to get to an appointment, when it didn’t turn up it took ten minutes to get through to the switchboard, was told the cab was ‘one minute away’ but it didn’t arrive for another ten minutes. Barely got an apology from the driver, but I felt sorry for him as I think they’d given him too many jobs and not enough time.

Absolutely tragic service diabolical and rude never ever will use again in my life they will have you waiting over an hour for even someone to take the job and even then it might get cancelled. Even after calling the office to ask what is happening with my taxi they are vague and rude to speak to. I have been late for my job numerous times because of this lazy taxi firm 0 stars from me.

Most cars smell strange and aren’t clean. Taxi drivers usually turn up later than expected, or Don’t turn up at all. some are rude and don’t even speak at all, not even a hi or bye despite you saying it first

I use this company to help get me to and from work. They are usually on time and easy to book through the app. Unfortunately tonight my taxi was never dispatched and multiple calls to the agents in the office were very unhelpful with times of arrival. The final person i spoke to was very unprofessional and told me it wasnt going to happen and that drivers wouldnt pick up the job because of where i was. He didnt have anything helpful to say and even advised me to get a lift with my friends and breach covid 19 regulations. I am now assessing other options for transport to and from work, as i no longer believe i am a valued customer.
