Booked a taxi to town. Driver called before he even arrived. Now even though i missed the call i knew what his game was. See since GO CARZ bought A2B( someone stated in reviews it was other way round. No gaffer retired had no one he wanted to pass company on to so he sold to GO CARZ. So since go carz took over drivers of go cars will accept the job only to call to find out where your going to see if the job is worth it to them. If the job is a a short distance worth a fiver they go carz taxis will cancel because it is not worth it to them and if the job is a 20 min job they also cancel because the go carz drivers think it is too far even if no traffic. Worst thing is if you book and a go cars driver accepts job and you see it is 4 minutes away if the driver cancels no one informs you so 4 minutes easily turns to 45 minutes and your still waiting. It is only when you have a plane to catch or somewhere to be for a specific time that you call after 5 mins to find out where your taxi is only to find out the driver released it. Worst thing is the go cars operators ( not a2b original operators) they will call on behalf of driver if you miss his call to find out where your going and will lie to you and say he will be there shortly only to realise they cancelled for him. I feel sorry for the original a2b drivers and a2b original operators who have to put up with such incompetance with go carz drivers and go carz operators. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU NEED TO BE SOMEWHERE, SCHOOL RUN, AIRPORT, WORK, NIGHT OUT TO VENUE OR FROM VENUE HOME , MEETINGS ETC. IF you have an additional 30-45 mins to waste feel free. As duty manager of a holiday inn we have always used a2b for all our clients with no problem now go cars have taken over it is definately time to advise the directors. Litterally its like big bird and earnie are running go cars the original a2b team and customers must feel like they are on an episode of sesame street. Go carz will not prosper and they will loose all contracts and customers they got from a2b or anywhere else. Facts

Driver (SH14 XUF) was lovely and took us the best way home to our hotel despite being in an awkward location however, the operator was very rude and condescending as I wanted to amend my booking but it wasn’t booked using my phone number, despite the fact that it took 10 minutes to even get through to, and hung up on my boyfriend when he had tried to get through previously (the booking was under his number). Also please get rid of or change the automated voice when on hold to speak to an operator, thanks! Would like to reiterate that the driver was excellent!
So disappointed today, use service for shopping, usually only wait 5 to 10 minutes but rang after 20 minutes to ask if they knew how long as my frozen food would be spoiling in this heat, told 5 minutes but arrived after 15 minutes. The driver then cut someone up on the island because he decided last minute to change direction which was the wrong way. Won't be using the service again, should of advised if there was a long waiting time I could of waited inside or called another company
Last night booked a taxi home driver rang asking where we were, obviously not local to Shrewsbury as we were standing outside the pub waiting for the taxi to arrive I then walked the thirty second walk to the otherside of pub to then to receive a no show notification. Then had yo walk 2 miles hone as no other taxis in the area. Absolutely the poorest company I have ever used previously attempt with a taxi from this Company I lost a deposit for cocktail bar as taxi never turned up or even contacted us to say it would be late. I will never use this company again or recommend them do not use!
Interesting to know that A2B Radio Cars recently bought GoCarz and the reputation is reflected in GoCarz too.
Awful taxi company always sending drivers who haven't a clue where they are going. Had a taxi recently driver rude , abusive swore at me to get out his car!! complaint logged which will be followed through ..terrible service drivers are plain rude no customer service shouldn't be allowed a licence or be driving taxis on the road utter disgrace

My friends had 2 taxis booked for 1:30, one came and drove off because he was at the wrong location and he never called and then said he wasn’t there. My friend therefore had to wait for another taxi. The other taxi was booked at 10:00 for 1:30 and said it was booked and never came and after it didn’t come we called them for them to say that they didn’t have a taxi and they were busy, after waiting for it to arrive. An absolute joke of a company, I am disgusted how bad the service is after they had to wait another 40 minutes for another. DO NOT USE GO CARZ
Made the booking 24 hours before nearly 30 minutes delay, when I called office not even interested to give a proper response, very much disappointed
Don't take bookings you can't actully get to. There is no point turning up at 06:50, when the pre-booked time was 06:00. And maybe hire drivers that actually know the area they are driving around...surely that's a requirement for being a taxi driver. Bloody useless.
Ive been using this company for the last 12 months and i must say they have always been on time.when ive phoned for a taxi they have always been Very polite on the phone .I would recommend this company to anybody.i live in Wolverhampton. Thank you go carz for a great friendly service. Trish.
Didn’t wait one minute I was even waving at him and he didn’t stop and the phone service palmed me of absolutely disgrace £120 a week from my travel your know missing out on
I wish that you could give zero stars to this company. Even 1 is too many. They are never on time, if they even bother to show up. They keep you on hold forever and when they answer are snotty and rude. This is the worst taxi company in Shrewsbury. Avoid at all costs.
Discussing service and also telephone operator too. Customer obviously not right. Told I am not being polite however due to Being left at the side of the road In the dark unintoxicated I am not impressed. Service disgusting. I will inform everyone I speak to not to use this company again.
Not a passenger but as another driver who was almost involved in an accident because of their carelessness and dangerous driving Avoid GL12 LSE. Almost caused a fatal crash.
Dreadful and will never use again. Booked for 9pm, arrived an hour and a half late. By which time my five year old had gone from "getting tired" needing to head home to being asleep and needing to be carried. We were told it's "running 20 mins late" repeatedly at intervals over 130mins without explanation or this info being in any way true. Then the driver called to say he was lost, having gone to the wrong village. Finally arrived, and to top everything off, the driver gave my partner and I really bad attitude; he seemed angry, told us "hope the car is OK after going on the bumpy roads" (one stretch is country lane but has never been a problem before ) and put his foot down before we were all properly in the car with seat belts on. Bearing in mind I had to first secure a sleeping child in their car seat who would have been awake if the car had been there on time. I guess the driver was having a bad day at work, his attitude towards us was unacceptable. Bearing in mind that my partner and I had done nothing wrong and were nothing but polite to this driver despite our own frustration. Absolutely disgusted and won't ever consider using this firm again.

Jul 28,2021My father in law was in Wolverhampton having previously met up with a friend and as the buses had now stopped running we decided to book a taxi home for him. I used the GoCarz taxi app I already had on my phone and booked a taxi to pick up my father in law from Wolverhampton Police Station in Bilston Street. The app showed the taxi to be one minute away which I relayed to my father in law. He stood directly on the edge of the footpath and didn't sit in the shelter in case the driver missed him. He said a GoCarz taxi came from the lights, looked directly at him and drove straight past then turning left back into the City centre where there were many other people trying to get a taxi. The driver rang Julie and said he was actually outside the police station waiting for his fare but there was no one there! There were no buses running so no one waiting for a bus and no one else about at all. My father in law said that there was no taxi or any other vehicle for that matter waiting. In fact no vehicle stopped for any reason for the entire length of time he was there. It is quite believeable that, having already taken the £6.10 for the fare to Coseley, that he could pick up another possibly more profitable fare which would have been readily available just around the corner in the City centre. He had already had the fare for his Coseley pick up anyway and as there were no witnesses it was his word against my father in laws although he did have a brief conversation with a female pc through an open window in the police station. Although I did not get a refund from GoCarz my main reason for reporting this incident is that my father in law had to walk all the way home as we didn't have any money left now as GoCarz had had my last £6.10. He is 70 years of age and not in good health. Fortunately he managed to walk the quite considerable distance without any lasting after effects.
