Janette Heyl from Goodlife led me through the process from start to finish and was absolutely a joy to deal with. Jannette explained every aspect of the process as we went along, was always in contact with me and eager to address any question I might have. Jannette is not only thoroughly professional and diligent, she is a pleasure to know and talk to. I felt uplifted after every phone conversation we ever had. Janette made sure I understood every dollar and cents factor of the mortgage so that I was able to be very comfortable knowing just exactly what was entailed. I am already enjoying the tangible benefits of the reverse mortgage (new carpet is on the way!) but also feel at ease knowing I have a source of funds should any expensive unforeseen circumstance arrive in the future. Mar 15,2022This was a great experience from start to finish. Dealing with Good Life was a major improvement over a company I used in the past for renewing my reverse mortgage. Dominick, my main agent, was extremely patient and understanding of all my concerns and guided me thru the process clearly at all times. He was professional but also very friendly throughout . I could contact him at any time and he responded promptly to clarify any question I might have. This procedure can be a bit tedious be the Good Life folks did a great job of making it less stressful. Mar 04,2022I was contacted by Janette Heyl of GoodLife Home Loans. We discussed the current housing market here in Phoenix and the potential advantages to considering refinancing my existing reverse mortgage with them. After further review and discussion, we began exploring my area for existing sales and home valves and indeed found promising significant increased value in my home and its equity. As my existing reverse mortgage was based on the program option to provide a line of credit against my equity, I was interested in options that would allow me to enhance my credit line. Janette provided an initial estimate of my current market value and how the refinance option would be of benefit. Her finding indicted that my home had increased in value by 30% over the previous years certified appraised value. With her initial estimate of costs and benefits to refinance, the estimated increase to my existing line of credit would be an increase of 140%, With that knowledge, we proceeded to confirm the current value of my home. We had (2) certified, independent appraisals performed. The final confirmed value supported the initial estimate provided by Janette and her initial estimate was within $5,000.00 of the final confirmed value. Janette provided a revised proposal based on the confirmed value and we proceeded with the formal review, document signing and closing process. Janette stayed with me every step of the way from start to finish of the process. She provided valuable consul to my never-ending questions. Her patience, experience, willingness to listen and attention to detail were by both appreciated and respected. The closing process employed by Good Life was professional and convenient. All initial and supporting documents needed were able to be completed online. A notary for the final paperwork execution was provided as a home service and completed at my dining room table. It was also a benefit that the loan management company CeLink, which had been servicing my previous loan, would also be servicing my new loan, providing a seamless process. In closing, my experience with GoodLife Home Loans, Janette Heyl their loan consultant, and all supporting services met or exceeded my expectations.
