We look after the legal side of residential property sales, purchases and remortgage. We act for corporate clients, 'High Street' Lenders and individuals wishing to change their mortgage product from one brand to another.
We are based in Maidenhead but provide services to customers and clients nationwide. We are available for personal meetings with our local clients and available on the phone for our clients who are based elsewhere in the country.

Jan 27,2025Sulaiman was very personable when we had 1:1 meetings. Good attention to detail. Response time to e mails was good. Response time of Gordons as a whole to phone calls was not so good-a lot of time spent on hold. So that's why I have rated the experience 4 stars instead of 5. But I would give Sulaiman 5 stars.

Jan 21,2025So far we had an awful experience to proceed the remortgage with NatWest. They don't know what they are doing and most incompetent law firm I've ever come across. Avoid at any costs! I would give 0 star if I could.

Jan 21,2025Constantly sending the same forms over and over that we have already filled in.. Dragging their feet, so now we are looking at fee because of the delays.. Made everything so difficult. Was recommended by NATWEST, who i called to complain to, but they didn't care.. Maybe financial ombudsman is the next step..

Jan 14,2025I have had an awful experience with this firm who were instructed to complete my remortgage by NatWest. They failed to do the correct title searches and left me with 2 primary mortgages on my property. They told me I had completed and days later I found out they had not even cleared my previous mortgage. They have shown me no empathy when I have been chasing them to rectify their mistakes and left me in a legally and financially compromised position. AVOID!!!

Jan 10,2025We had an extremely time-critical bridging loan / re-mortgage application, for a house purchase, adversely affected by the original solicitors being put on intervention due to allegations of dishonesty, leaving us high and dry, and almost certainly causing our purchase to fail. Gordon's not only treated our situation as a priority, but also went above and beyond, being extremely helpful regarding the mass amount of work we had to re-do (the existing solicitors hadn't got the documentation available electronically), and super-fast responses to ALL of my queries and communications - a rarity these days, sadly. To this end, I would like to say that Georgia and team have been absolutely AMAZING, turning the whole thing around, and in record time, so that the application has not only gone through smoothly, but so quickly (these guys are SUPER responsive / empathetic about customers' situations / meeting deadlines), that we can FINALLY pick up the keys to the property, from Monday! I never even knew about this firm before they kindly picked up our stalled application and treated it as a high priority issue given the already overdue deadline by the seller, but you can bet I've kept their details in case I need a property lawyer in future! Well done to all of them, and I wholeheartedly recommend them, given my own excellent personal experience using them...
