Do not move here!!!! 1) Ventilation not working which will make you sick (asthma, sick building syndrome, pet had to stay in cone all year) and they won't do anything about it except telling you to "open the windows" Flagged it first January 2022 and it got fixed in March 2023 a week before the council came for an inspection. 2) Furniture is to quote their handyman "a piece of sh...." When I asked him if it was IKEA he said : not it's even worse look how it's crumbling... Guess who will be charged for it as well? YOU 3) I had a leak at the beginning of my tenancy. When I complained about the damp smell of the carpet in my bedroom they took 10 days and sent me a cleaner with some blue roll to sort it. It took me ages to get them to book a carpet cleaner which at this point the carpet was ruined. 4) They also lied to me about the tenancy takeover a few years back. My ex flatmate ruined the flat so I. was I wouldn't stay unless it was a new tenancy with a new inventory etc which they said they would. Then few days before said we'd have to sort out the deposit on our own and fix the stuff ourselves but they would be happy to provide us with the contractors (surprise surprise) They are offering money for good reviews so I would take those with a pinch of salt
To find accommodation in a big city of London is very difficult in short period of time but Grainger plc team especially Segun Dickson were so professional that they helped me out to find the accommodation of my choice. Moreover, I wanted to move into the property a bit earlier than the given date. It was not easy to do so but I would like to mention the special efforts of Joshua Mitchell, who made it possible for me along with Laura Packett and Hugh Peel. I will highly recommend Grainger plc.
Grainger are always very easy to deal with when it comes to renting - they're always quick to fix any faults and Lacey is on the ball with renewing our tenancy, giving us plenty of notice of when we need to renew by, etc.
I really love living at Windlass Apartments! The living environment is truly unrivalled in terms of tranquillity and security, making me feel at home every day. The friendliness and responsibility of the management team is the icing on the cake. A special mention goes to Sophie Farr, who was incredibly patient and professional during my contract renewal process. No matter what questions I had, she always responded quickly and enthusiastically and resolved my concerns in the shortest possible time. I am extremely satisfied with her service and have a deep sense of her care and concern for her residents. All in all, I have no hesitation in recommending Windlass Apartments to anyone looking for a great living experience.The ambience, the management team and Sophie's excellent service have made me feel deeply at home and comfortable.

Brilliant service and highly recommend. My husband and I were due to move into a different property through an estate agent, but due to poor customer service, we did not feel comfortable doing this and so decided 2 weeks before moving to pull out. We contacted Grainger's team, and the service has been exceptional so far. We had clear and professional information regarding contracts, payments and move in dates etc. and communication was very quick and always helpful. We were able to reserve an apartment, sign contracts and get everything sorted for move in within 3 working days - something we had attempted with an estate agent for 5 weeks! We are due to move in soon, and are very much looking forward to it. Special thanks to Laxmi and Rebecca for their prompt responses and help.
I would take any positive review Grainger PLC gets with a grain of salt. An email reminding residents to fill in the 2023 Resident Satisfaction Survey was sent out this morning (04/08/2023). The following text was included in this email, essentially bribing residents to submit a positive review: "As a community, we will also be running a little competition for each resident that completes a positive survey. All you need to do is follow the link or QR codes within the lifts/communal areas, complete your survey, send us proof via e-mail and we will automatically enter you into a draw to win the following: Night In Bundle on us! £25 Deliveroo voucher Chip n Dip Pick n Mix Bottle of prosecco The winner will be announced on the 8th September 2023." I have no clue how this is an acceptable business practice and calls into question the integrity of any positive reviews this company has received.
My experience so far has been impressive with the hard work and dedication from Wesley! He truly loves his job and it’s visible in the interest he has on helping finding the right property! He eased the whole process and he always been responsive and helpful :) Thank you so much for everything!

Our moving experience was really great and smooth. We've signed the contract remotely and everything was ready to the day we're supposed to move in. The flat was clean and everything was explained clearly. Overall, I don't have any issues and would specifically recommend Joseph Cook!

Me and my best mate rented a house in Dalston last September. The lack of care, support, and effort was appalling from the grainger plc team. The building manager Nicolette McRae might just be the laziest and worst manager I have ever come across. And that’s saying something. It was well known in our buildings group chat how useless she was in almost every way. Never replying to emails, texts or calls and not even replying back once the automated ‘I’m away’ message came through. We would wait for weeks and months in many cases to get through to her and when she did reply it was to tell us to contact someone else as it wasn’t her issue. She’s been there 20 years but you’d think she just started. Honestly made the whole experience shocking and I will never be going back to a grainger plc property as a result. I know that the whole building (Cannonbury heights) agrees.
Being from a small island that values communal living , friendship, family and bonding I found a home away from home with Grainger's. Other tenants are friendly and its easy to make friends and go grab a coffee together since many coffee shops are just next door. The flats are central with everything I needed like shops, post office, GP within few minutes What made the difference here was the transparency and trust. It was the peace of mind of having things sorted on time, like repairs or any advice I needed. David and Lewis the block managers have always looked into making things easier for me and as comfortable as possible. Ian from maintenance is a lovely person always willing to help and save your day whenever he can. My experience has been pleasant so far.
We have had an exceptional experience with Grainger's since we moved in, and even before that, while searching for apartments. Wesley offered us a wide range of possible options and responded promptly to all our questions. Keep up the fantastic work!

The resident services team have also been fantastic since moving in and the welcome pack sets the next steps out brilliantly to make the move in stress free. Would recommend.
