Dec 20,2020The website is very good. Good information and easy to navigate. I especially like the 'live' stock recording. The problems start when your goods are bought are dispatched for delivery. Despite agreeing next-day-delivery with the vendor, the delivery agent notified me it would be 4 days later. I contacted the vendor who assured me they would investigate. The goods arrived however on the agreed date and were left unsigned for on my doorstep, in full view of passing traffic. 6 hours later, the vendor contacted me to say there was nothing they could do and apologised for my having to wait. I was playing my purchase while I read it. If I was dishonest, I could have claimed the item never arrived, and would have had some evidence to support that. Evidence provided by both the vendor and the delivery agent. All of which is a shame, because I like the website and the promises it makes, but not the mess that arose once the goods left the shop.

Dec 19,2020Excellent customer service on my purchase of Fender Duo Sonic HS. I would normally try before I buy, but being over 100 miles away and Covid on its second wave, I decided to purchase online. The picture of the guitar on sale at Guitar Village helped make my choice as its colour and visible wood grain were excellent. However I wasn't sure if the pics were the actual guitar or stock samples. I called Guitar Village for assistance. Richard was very helpful and went away to check the stock and call me back. Ten minutes later he had found the guitar which matched the online picture and put it to one side for me whilst I completed the order online. He also advised me of problems the delivery company UPS were experiencing with the volume of deliveries running up to Christmas. Fortunately UPS were able to deliver next day. The guitar delivered matched the one on the website and came with a set up certificate. It played brilliantly. However I play in a band tuned to Eb so I replaced the 10's with a set of 11's. I am bowled over by the quality and VFM and the customer service . Thank you!

Bought an Eastman guitar in the Black Friday sale which unfortunately got damaged in transit - no fault of how guitar village was packed by guitar village The team at guitar village we’re incredibly reassuring and handled the situation fantastically well. They went out of their way to source a replacement guitar (even better spec than the original) at no extra cost to myself. The guitar was also set up perfectly to my personal requirements. Dec 22,2020Fast delivery, but disappointed as guitar badly set up. They included a slip confirming it had been checked three times, but no one noticed the bad neck relief and resultant string buzzing? I have had to go on the internet to find out how to adjust the truss rod etc.
