Feb 23,2025The delivery was extremely slow and though I ordered in plenty of time before my trip, the item failed to arrive before I had left. Chase ups suggested the system wasn't tracking and the item had actually been dispatched to the courier. This wasn't true and once dispatched, the tracking system and the markings on the parcel confirmed so and once with the courier, it was delivered in a few days.

Feb 21,2025I do not generally order from non-UK websites and now I know why. Website crashed when taking a payment and then said that no payment had been received. So I put another payment through only to see on my bank statement it was duplicated. Not so much of an issue as surely it's easy to get the money back. NO. Customer service is so slow. No one answers calls, just an answer phone. No live chat, just email which takes days to reply to. Even though I got a message to say they had received my order it has been days and there has been no progress through the system. So currently I have paid for two pairs of walking poles and two pairs of socks and yet have nothing to show for it, apart from a £300 hole in my bank account. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Feb 21,2025As in line with many other reviews, there seems to be a pattern of the service operating in a borderline way—confirming the order has been received and giving the delivery time, but then nothing happens: no response to requests, no clarification, no explanations. I have an important trip coming up and left enough time for the delivery to arrive, even with the possibility of delays, but I am now feeling stressed as I have one week left for preparations and still don’t have the gear or a concrete reply explaining what to expect. Very disappointing.

Feb 18,2025Was a little apprehensive ordering from Europe, but I have to say, the whole process and delivery updates were excellent. Ordered some ski pants and took just 6days to arrive from Europe (to the UK) and were trackable at every step with updates from Hardloop all the way. Will defo use again!

Feb 18,2025Expected delivery date was nearly a week out as my parcel arrived nearly a week late.......I understand that once the parcel leaves your warehouse that it is out of your control however the expectation had been set in the confirmation email at nearly a week earlier......under promise and over deliver not the other way round please.

Feb 18,2025Hardloop does not have a functioning reporting/order tracking system. You pay up front, like everyone else, but you will need to wait 10-14 days before you will hear ANYTHING. This is not just Brexit, this is a company that has no clue about e-commerce. After 10 days I still do not know whether a backpack I payed for will EVER be sent. Yes an email-based customer service will give you someone who tells you that the order SHOULD be processed soon - that's about it. The telephone number for customer service gives you a useless recording and disconnects. Seems like a very fly-by-night retailer.

Feb 23,2025Having never used this company before, and having had a less than smooth experience with an outdoor company based in the EU, I was initially apprehensive. But need not have been, everything was well organised including updating information about my order at regular intervals, which arrived slightly earlier than expected. And they use a reliable and dependable carrier, DPD, in this country, UK. The only glitch was the 2nd email sent out to say there was delay, which Google put into the Promotions inbox, consequently I failed to notice for a couple of days. Worth checking all inboxes, including Spam. Recommended.
