Partial order received, 3 plates missing, not good when you ordered 6. Rest of the order was complete. Tried email, phone, no response. Seems they are happy to take the money, but customer service is zero. I will not be dealing with this company again.
Would rather give zero stars. Placed order for three items 30th May 2020. Money taken straight away. One item delivered after two weeks. Have emailed several times - no response. Tried phoning - it just rings out. On website, my missing items are still shown as "in stock"! If no response in a week, that'll be two months since order! COVID might have given problems but no excuse for taking money and not giving any response in two months! AVOID THIS COMPANY
NO problems at ALL with my order. Placed order on Thursday and order was delivered Monday morning.Communication by email with quick reply. 5* from me.
DO NOT USE Placed order over 2 weeks ago instantly had confirmation email and they took payment estimated delivery 2 days Still no order , cannot contact company as no-one answers phone and no reply to daily emails i send. I have now had to raise a dispute with paypal
AVOID!! I placed an order with this company on 23rd June and received an automatic confirmation saying my payment had been received & my order would be shipped within 2-3 days. I have had absolutely no communication from them since! I rang daily & emailed numerous times for the last week or so but got no answer! I have finally been issued a refund today after opening a dispute with PayPal. I understand that things could be delayed but an email or even just a memo on their website would’ve been helpful. There’s nothing worse than poor customer service & this company is bad. I ordered from here to try & support an independent business but it’s just a joke. My advice would be to look elsewhere & don’t waste your time as it’s nearly 4 weeks later & I’m now trying to source the products from elsewhere
Terrible experience, order never arrived, unable to get via phone, don’t reply to emails, take money straight away, will have the hassle of going to bank to try and retrieve. You’ve been warned. Looks like a scam
Ordered 19th June, Today finally got notification my order has been refunded under PayPal dispute scheme.
Ordered a few items and and received confirmation. Part order delivered 2 weeks after order however tried phone and email communication which was non existent but 90% of order landed by parcel force. Items as expected. I can only assume the staff issues due to the pandemic contribute to poor responses to emails.
Placed order for optic stands 3 weeks ago. Still processing- and no reply to any emails. Cant get through on phone. Robbed.
This is a second review to describe my ongoing difficulties with this company. I ordered from Heaton Catering Equipment in late May. Eventually, in late June, I received part of my order with the invoice marked to say that the remainder would follow. As when I emailed about the delays with the original order there are no responses to any emails to get an update on the outstanding (paid for) goods. Definately safest to avoid this company. It's also a concern for others that the website still provides no warning about the issues this company is clearly having.
I can only presume this company is in serious difficulties. If they would respond to my queries I may be able to cut some slack. They aren’t doing, choosing to bury their head in the sand and as such have cost me money and time. I hope they are able to sort themselves out but until they I would avoid at all costs. A shocking experience
Not replying to emails. No order no refund. Stay away form this company. Probably not trading but on company’s house it state’s they are still active. Avoid.
A week after I had made my purchase I did not receive any communication about my order status. I phoned the company numerous times and emailed them 3 times and still no response. In the end I asked to cancel my order and buy from elsewhere. 14 days later I get an email from Parcelforce saying they are delivering my parcel even though I’ve requested a cancellation. There’s literally ZERO customer communication and it’s very frustrating. I doubt I’ll be receiving my money back. If there was a note on the website, a suggested delivery time frame, or even just a quick email about the status of my order, I would have of course been more sympathetic. Simply no kind of excuse for this service.
I ordered and paid for goods worth £77 on the 30th June 2020. Still not received them. No answer when we call. I've just sent a contact form in the hope I'll get some response next week but my heart sank when reading the other reviews. It's a shame if the company is having difficulty in turning round orders if they have had to furlough staff, but please put a notice on your website to reassure about any delays. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for now.
We have purchased a range of products , and have always received excellent help and sevice, from tables, to cloches, plates , I would recently recommend you check the web site everytime you are in need of catering supplies, prices are really good too
Ordered 25th June as it said 2 to 3 days delivery, wrote a complaint 5 days ago as I was unable to contact the company and they dont answer calls or emails. After reading all the reviews got a bit agitated so raised a dispute on PayPal. My order arrived today a bar 2 items, so all though customer service is shocking im happy with my goods. :)
We placed a order with this company on 15 June 2020 and have not received our items or any response from this company, reading all the reviews it is very clear that this company is very unprofessional and should be shut down. Will have to seek further advice on this matter and have already reported this to my bank whom will hopefully be able to get my funds returned. What a shame that they are not able to give a good service irrespective of our present conditions, Stop taking peoples money if you cannot deliver the goods , Simple As!! Why cause all this unnecessary stress for us all, sort yourselves out or stop Trading and being i d i o t s !! Rather close your doors !! Do not recommend to any future buyers....
Ordered an expensive black cutlery set which got to us scratched down to the silver and no sedated edge on half the knives. Tried ringing but answering machine tells you to email. Emailed numerous times but no one has got back to us. Contacted Utopia who are the manufacturer and they say they can’t discuss anything with buyers. The scary part is Heaton Catering are their biggest customer! Scam company... STAY AWAY!!!

Jul 27,2020I had placed an order on the 30th June and became concerned after two weeks when there was no delivery and no response from the company after attempted calls. The more recent poor reviews weren't reassuring either. I put it down to the company struggling after furloughing staff and resigned myself to taking the loss on the chin - nobody had died. However, my parcel came this morning! Admittedly there is one item to follow but in the bigger scheme of things........ So bear with it everyone, you're more than likely going to get a delivery, albeit late.
