I ordered from Heaton Catering. A couple of weeks later I received part of my order. I phoned and phoned to ask about the remainder of my order no response. I sent 2 emails still no repsonse. A month later the rest of my order arrived. I would not recommend this company. Zero customer service.
I placed an order for various goods, whilst the UK was in main lockdown. Obviously a slight delay in supplying goods, which was beyond the company's fault. I was updated with the situation, and very pleased when the ggods arrived. The pricing is excellent, and a fabulous range of products. Will be using again

We have dealt with Heaton for the past 18 months for purchasing equipment, cutlery and buffet display materials. They provide a good range of products for catering and offer unbeatable prices for well known brands and high quality products. Packaging quality, delivery advice and tracking are all very good. We experienced an unusual delay of about one week with the last order given in August. But it is totally understandable due to stock replenishment delays from the manufacturers. It would be good if Heaton keeps clients posted in such circumstances.
This is the strangest company I have ever dealt with. They are the cheapest on the internet by a long way. Every order I promise myself I wont use them again and then I do! I have currently been waiting 3 weeks for an order that said 2-5 days, they just ignore me and wont respond. My order is substantial and they just dont seem to care. If they just told me they cant perform the order and refund me I would be fine, but they dont, they just take your money. In the past they have taken my money and never sent the items at all, this is just theft and when it is raised with the company they just dont do anything. My last order 70% of the glassware was smashed, I appreciated this may have happened during the delivery but they did not respond when I complained. My advise is, if you want to save some money, use them but dont expect the items you need for months. As anyone in the catering industry knows, quite often you need the items ASAP. They do not respond to calls and emails "ever" even before covid-19, for that reason I would never buy anything mechanical from them, as the likely hood is they will not assist you if its breaks down. I short, this company is the worst company I have ever dealt with, seems such as shame as their products, website and prices are great. The owners of the company need a serious lesson in customer service. But just like Wetherspoons or Ryanair, no matter how bad they are, because of the prices, people will keep using them (including myself), when really they should be shut down.
The only way to get a delivery is to pay via PayPal and then dispute the charge and wait 5 weeks. They will then send a partial order with other items 'to follow'. The only way to get those items send is to then escalate the problem to PayPal customer service and then the item will appear. I emailed and called over 20 times before I discovered how to do business with these awful people.
placed an order on 1/6/20, despite several emails still waiting for the items to be delivered. No one answers the phone or replies to emails. Happy to take the money but NOT delivering to goods. I hope the Director has some integrity to reply to this.
It appears that they are not currently operating. But have not updated their website to reflect this so web orders are still working. Please be aware - If you pay for something you are not going to receive it. You will not be able to contact them. So I really hope you read this before making an order! (I am giving them the benefit of the doubt, otherwise this is a pretty brazen scam, regardless you will not received anything you pay for)
Very dissatisfied with this supplier. Items missing, emails unanswered, phone calls unanswered. No refund for undelivered items. Avoid.
Order was placed 16th June,order arrived with missing items. Contacted the company numerous times via telephone and email. Received one email stating item would be sent out 17/7/20.Still have not received the items that have been paid for! Emails are ignored and the telephone number on the website never gets answered. This ‘company’ is disgusting taking money for items that they obviously do not have available. I would just like a refund for the items that you have not sent out!
Item I received had missing parts Was advised that parts no longer available have sent several emails to ask how to return this item and receive a refund but have had no further communication from them do not buy from them extremely disappointed
I ordered from Heaton Catering Company over a month ago and still do not have my order. I have called more than once on more than one occasion and emailed. Have now contacted citizens advice and have request a refund from the company through a breach of contract letter. Do not use! Stay away! Spend your money someplace else!
Oh dear...I think this company may be on the brink. No goods shipped, no response to emails, phone rings out or won't connect. Have raised a 'no receipt of goods' claim with my bank. A shame - hate to see a business struggle. But even so - contact with their customers should still be a priority.
Just awful experience after I placed an order in early June. Totally expected a reasonable delay due to COVID but heard nothing despite many calls (no one answering any of the telephone options) and messages via their site and emails some weeks after my order was placed. Only when I opened an escalation with PayPal did I suddenly receive a despatch notice and 90% of my order was shipped. One item is still outstanding, weeks after first shipment and again no comms whatsoever yet item shows in stock! Avoid this business at all costs. Shockingly bad at everything!
Do NOT use this company! Absolutely shocking service - can’t believe they are still in business & certainly won’t be for much longer if they continue to operate like they do. Have tried contacting them for weeks via email (as no one answers the phone) and still no response! Buy from this tin-pot outfit at your peril!!
TERRIBLE! Literally the worst service I have ever received from a company!! I ordered 8 items over 3 weeks ago with 3-5 day delivery and I received 2 of the items yesterday finally with a note saying the rest would follow. I have sent numerous emails and tried to call many times with no answer! Disgraceful! I know that companies are struggling in this period (as we all are) but if they cannot fulfil orders they should not take people’s money!!!
I ordered a set of Churchill plates. I received a confirmation email and within two weeks the plates arrived via Parcel force. They were well wrapped up and in good condition apart from one which has a couple of small scratches on it. I can't fault the service. I am very happy with it and my purchase.
Sadly i didnt read the reviews before i made the same mistake as so many others here. They took my money for 'in stock' items and confirmed in a an email. Then nothing. no answer to emails, the phone rings out on all options. Scammers! Now i know why they were the only company with the items 'in stock' . They never intended to send me anything . AVOID at all costs!
This is a 100% scamming company,do not buy anything from them ,they will take your money ,with an automated email that's the good will be on its way ,but nothing sent ,try to phone them ,or email them without any answer ,you've been warned ,I already reported them to BBC panorama and PayPal
