UPDATE!!! I HAVE JUST HAD AN EMAIL FROM THE COMPANY AND THEY HAVE CANCELLED MY ORDER. STAFF HAVE BEEN FURLOUGHED AND SO THE MAIN SHOP IS CLOSED. PROCESSING OF ORDERS IS STILL RUNNING THROUGH THEIR WAREHOUSE BUT SLOWLY. I really don't know what to say about these! Ordered with them on 30th May, received email confirming my order and it stated that I would receive a further email once my order had been shipped. I am still waiting on that second email over 6 weeks later!! I have emailed them several times and also rang them about 20 times. No answer to any of my correspondence. I took it upon myself to phone neighbouring businesses this morning. They all said that they think Heaton Catering have moved!?! The shutters are down on the shop and they haven't seen anyone in there for a while!? I would avoid this company. I think I have lost my money! Paid on debit card too so can't even claim it back. AVOID!!
Placed an order, thinking it would be a 2-3 day delivery, but expecting it to be slightly longer with the covid 19. after not receiving a week later I emailed for clarification, with no answer, on reading their website it said to email the sales, again nothing, worried i read the reviews. I really started to panic as I thought i'd been scammed. I sent more emails, and tried calling, but there is an answer phone message on. I finally sent one more email asking them to cancel my order as i wasn't impressed with their service and needed the goods by a certain date. I then ordered from a different company, that had been recommended to me, low and behold I got an email and text to say my order would be with me the next day. Sure enough it has arrived with everything I ordered, only shame is im due a delivery from the other company and its too late to cancel. It seems to me they need to get back some of their staff from furlough. Im giving it 3 stars for the goods being despatched and for the communication re times it will arrive. But only 1 star for their communication from their customer service and sales department. So an overall 2 stars, maybe if the covid wasnt around maybe the service would be better. So don't be put off completely, but beaware that if you need it quickly order elsewhere, if you are ok to wait, then this company is legit
I placed an order and after a week had not heard anything then I read the reviews and really started to worry but I sent an email to them and received a response and and my goods 3 days later, I think they are just overwhelmed and struggling on skeleton staff! Unfortunately 2 of the optics I received were faulty but again I messaged them (twice) and eventually got a reply telling me that 2 replacement optics have been dispatched and should be with me tomorrow, so while it's not been the best experience, they have delivered and I don't believe it's fair to assume that they are not a legitimate company which is why I thought it only fair to add a review! Hope this helps.
AVOID AVOID AVOID .... this company is a joke, I placed a order a month ago they took my money and I have not review my goods, I have emailed them 6 times with no reply, I can’t contact them by phone as they aren’t talking calls. DISGRACE!!!!!
This company is an absolute joke! avoid at all costs, i placed my order on the 30th of May and i still have not received a thing. i have sent several emails and left several voicemails with absolutely NO reply. They took my Money quick enough but have not sent my goods, i have requested a refund but NO reply.
Would rate zero if possible. Ordered on 2nd June, recieved nothing for 3 weeks until I emailed SEVERAL times with my complaint of not receiving goods and lack of communication including confirmation and whereabouts of my order. Out of the blue recieved an email that my parcel was being dispatched using 48hr express service regardless of the fact it was 3 weeks later and the website states 2-3 standard business days. (I gave a by-ball for Covid outbreak) When I received the 9tder only half had arrived, with a docket inside with a red pen circling my outstanding items and a handwritten note "to follow". Emailed stressing my anger about this but no reply. Now july, emailed again wondering where the rest of my order was, again another parcelforce email with 48hour express delivery. Then checked my online account, one of my remaining items has been dispatched, two more still "order processing". Do not use this company. Coronavirus outbreak or not, a little communication goes a long way. I ranted and raved about this website when I found it and have since told every person not to use this website. Disgraceful.
Absolute disgrace - placed order 24th June - took money immediately - tried to contact to determine delivery - absolutely nothing - needed the goods urgently, so used their very own cancellation form to cancel the order on the 28th. Received absolutely no response, so got Visa involved. In the meantime, placed the same order with another supplier and got within 2 days. Visa have obviously stirred them up as they have out of the blue emailed me with dispatch confirmation on express 24 with Parcelforce. Have copied Visa into all of this. There is no way I want the goods now, 2 weeks after placing the original order which promised dispatch within 2-3 days. They are crazy if they think i will accept the delivery. Small claims court, here we come if they do not refund the money.
Not an intentionally fraudulent company I don’t think but there are clearly serious internal problems judging from the comments here dating back to before lockdown. I placed an order for a lot of crockery a month ago and had no confirmation other than my payment receipt from Paypal. I called a week later to check delivery times and like everyone else was directed to leave an email which was ignored. Several emails later, nothing. After reading the comments here I opened a dispute through Paypal, but also called the Crockery manufacturer (Churchill) to see if they knew what was going on. They were surprised as they confirmed that my order had been placed with them. And obviously they were annoyed as Heaton’s behaviour does not reflect well on them. Fortunately for me, Churchill were super helpful and offered to contact Heaton directly. Funnily enough I immediately got a message through Paypal saying the goods had been dispatched. I’ve given them 2 stars because all goods were received and well-packaged, and the order itself was apparently placed with Churchill promptly. The major problem clearly lies with what happens after that point (warehouse issues? Internals comms non-existent?) and the fact that there is zero acknowledgement or warning on their website that they’re experiencing problems. So my advice for the moment is go to someone like Nisbets unless you’re in no rush!
Placed order 19 june after having to make order up with stuff we dont realy need .7th july still waiting ,sent numerous emails and msgs ,as they wont answer their phone . An absolute disgrace ,and should be closed down for fraudulent dealing ..AVOID AT ALL COSTS !..PS NO stars !!!
Ordered 20 days ago and have sent several emails to ask when my delivery would be. I have had no reply. Have now asked for a refund but expect will get zero response. Will then have to get refund from my credit card company.
Absolutely useless (can't give zero stars), took my money but failed to deliver what I ordered, despite e-mails & phone calls. Completely unresponsive!! From their website'Everything we do is aimed at fairness, amongst ourselves, with our partners and of course our customers' is laughable!! Will report to trading standards.
Ordered an item in November 2019. Every time I rang they said it would be dispatched in a week but never was. Then COVID struck and they do not take calls or reply to emails. Sadly I am having reporting them to trading standards now but all I really wanted was my plates.
Firstly, read other comments regarding current delivery issues. I ordered on 10th June, heard nothing but have now recieved my goods and I am happy with the uqality. I cannot recall if there was a specified delivery timeframe when ordering, admittedly I would have expected the delivery to come sooner but fortunately I was not in a rush.
Ordered 7th June, subsequently chased on 21st June and today 1st July. No reply. All options on phone menu go to a recorded message telling you to email their sales email. No replies from sales email.
Would give ZERO STARS if possible. No response to calls, no response to emails. We are still owed money from March!! Now looking at legal action to recover. Very unprofessional, Should not be trading - DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!
Further to my earlier review I sent an email asking them to cancel the order and refund my costs or I would be asking my bank to do a charge back. Within half an hour I receive an email saying, very conveniently, that the order had been despatched! Then a Parcel Force notification showing items in transit and subsequently at a delivery hub on the day the items were required. Still no sign the following day so I’ve emailed to reiterate that the order had been cancelled and that I will refuse delivery when it is eventually attempted. Absolute disgrace and the cause of endless stress. Please avoid using this business I can’t believe their unprofessional attitude to customer service.
Lttle slow on delivery as Heaton Catering were waiting on new stock. Apart from that the items have arrived packaged well and are good quality.
Placed order 3 weeks ago. Delivery expected within 2-3 days, but still no sign of goods. As with many reviews, all calls and emails go unanswered. Don't waste your time.
Same as everyone else. Ordered goods without checking reviews. I understand that the Covid issue may be a factor, but be honest with people and say that they are not currently trading. I have now received product but no communication even though I had sent in cancellation documents. It’s just as well I hadn’t bought elsewhere. Not a good shopping experience. My review remains 1 star.

Jul 09,2020Like everyone else, placed an order of in-stock items on a 2-3 day delivery. Waited patiently for the order summary to change from processing to shipped. Emailed after 5 days asking if all was ok (no phones being answered) Emailed after 7 days. Emailed complaints dept after 8 days, emailed both after 9 days, and cancelled and bought from somewhere else after 10 days as I needed the goods for opening weekend. After 14 days order was still processing, so emailed again saying the good were cancelled and do not ship. After 16 days they have shipped the goods. If this is an honest company, change the website to say 2-3 week delivery and let the customer decide if they want to wait or not. As they are still at this moment advertising 2-3 day standard delivery I have no sympathy with them....and now have to go through a refund process, which is probably going to be at my expense. Not sure why the guy below gave 4 stars and advised AVOID though !?!?
