Called hotel to book room person was very rude. Went on line booked room I was suppose to pay 9.99 when I booked room and $124. 54 at hotel at check in. I was charge $9.99 and $124.54. Called reservation was told hotel was training new person mistake was made and $124.54 would be reverse back to my checking account. I called back same day spoke with another representative he said only 9.99 was taken from my checking account. He called Hotel and was told they will not reverse the charge. I then call hotel ask for manager was told no manager there. Front desk was very very rude think her name was Lish really not sure I explained what was going on and my email showed I would only be charge $9.99 not full amount. She said they can do what they want when charging thru 3 party I understand to a point but email and receipt shows I will pay when I check in. I have never had a problem like this and for sure have never dealt with the rudeness I received. Very very unprofessional. I would not have booked room if I was told I had to pay full amount. I know this company doesn’t care I’m only one person but this is not right. Very unfair. I’m very unhappy with this the service I receive from Best Western.

They lie! They are a third party company making the reservations. They act as if they are the hotel. They overcharge and charge you for insurance you did not ask for.

I got to Lea at HotelPlanner, at cutomer service, by accident (I think) when I was transfered by a hotel I had booked, but but did not supmit the booking, and no e-mail showing a booking. I spoke wiht Lea in customer suport who helped me on 09/22/24 with reservations for Camp Sherman Oregon to S. Dakota and back with 10 bookings. She was very nice, upbeat, personable, efficient, excellent speech, and very good with reservations for our car trip bookings. AND, she reservied all booking with payment up arrival, and for better prices then I had been quoted, somethimes significantly better.
Helpful finding the best prices and location
Gabriella was a blessing in disguise because I was so frustrated with trying to get a reasonable hotel room with clean rooms and easy reservations. She was kind helpful had a sense of humor and could not have been better. We are very lucky family to be able to interface with her for vacation plans .
Room was not clean , unfit for human to live.
I was unable to stay in the motel room because there was bm on the walls, two holes inside the shower and lots of mold. When I called reservations, the response was “non refundable “! I was there less than 5 minutes and could not tolerate. I explained but person on phone was flippant and unconcerned. As a senior citizen, this behavior was hurtful and frustrating. My $156 (social security income) was needed for another place to stay! Super 8 explained the online booking agent who took my credit card info had the payment and the hotel could not refund. I would have to contact the agent I booked with. I have been attempting repeatedly!
