I am in Canada. All the reservation rewards are for Americans. Two charges were made on my credit card. One for the room cost and an additional amount of 19.98?

I would actually rate this company a 0 if I could. After making my reservation, I recently got married and moved banking institutions. Something came up where we needed to cancel our reservation and the company said they could only refund my original form of payment which was no longer active. They told me sorry but I would just have to be out the money as they couldn’t update my form of payment. I’m extremely disappointed in this process and am now out $300+ because of their incompetence. I will never use this site again.

I found a $107 per night rate but was prompted online to call for the best rates. The representative was friendly but didn’t find that rate until I pointed it out to her. She said it wasn’t available but could give me one that was “hearing accessible” or she could check for other hotels. I thanked her an and said I’d look myself. I signed up online for the $107 rate. It was available.
The lady it took my reservation did excellent, she's a very good person.

Sep 17,2024Update: I finally got refund but it took many calls and this review on Trust Pilot. Their customer service is awful and every time you speak to someone it is starting at square 1 and you are not allowed to speak with anyone on the escalation team. I did not mean to use the site to book a room as it looked like Hilton’s website - I think it was first site that popped up when I searched a specific hotel. It cost 100 more than booking through Hilton directly. I am not sure whats happening “added value” you get.
