Sep 02,2024We contacted you earlier regarding a booking reservation that we made online for the 11/12 September 2024 for the Starling Cloud Hotel Aberystwyth, which touched on being fraudulent. The offer on the booking site was for £94.21 which we accepted. We then received a confirmation email that the room had been booked at £153.71. We immediately phoned the Marstons Custoner Service team who confirmed that the charge for the room was for £94.21 and the £153.71 was incorrect, and was advised to contact the booking company Expedia. We contacted Expedia who said that the booking was with Hotel Planner who confirmed to us that it was for £153.71. We explained that this was incorrect and should be £94.21. They said that they would cancel and reimburse the money for £153.71, but we are not convinced so we have contacted our payment bank Lloyds for help. Just to make you aware that we may have to get back to you after 15 days if the refund has not been made.

Sep 02,2024My husband was badly injured in a fall and had to have emergency surgery 1000 miles from home on Labor Day weekend! Grace was so kind and managed to find me a room quickly in a town overflowing with people. I could not have done it without her!
