Apr 12,2024UPDATE: despite public assurance on Trust Pilot that a customer service representative would be in touch to find a resolution…. guess what? …. Nothing! Four months of being completely ignored, no customer service whatsoever! I implore readers not to buy anything from these people unless you are happy that your money maybe completely wasted leaving you with a pile of twisted metal poles and a leaky sheet of plastic, without offer of a refund or compensation. ************************* 15 April 3024 The “premium quality” garage tent I purchased collapsed in winds of just 12mph. Customer service is horrendous. They agree that the meteorological conditions on the day it collapsed were not adverse. They do not try to deny that their tents will collapse in medium strength winds. They just tell you: “ Please be advised that our Car Port Tents are not tested for wind loads, and damages resulting from such conditions are not covered by the warranty.” They will blame you for not taking the tent down before the wind started, a four person job that takes 1-2 hours. In the UK this would be unacceptable as the product is not as described or fit for purpose. Nor were these exclusions to their liability set out in the contract of sale. I’m just thankful my car was not in the tent at the time. My loss is the £400 price of the tent, and not the cost of a £4,000 respray. This is how much they care…… “ Dear Customer, I understand your concerns, but I must clarify that our warranty terms and conditions, including any limitations or exclusions, are clearly outlined in the instruction manual and on our website. Apr 07,2024Advised byDX of delivery day - waited in all day but no delivery. Then arrived damaged the following day! Contents OK. Item is poor quality all round. If this is the 'professional' model the 'economy' model must be made from rice paper. Also, it does not help when the illustrations in the instructions do not match the actual item. I'm pretty sure this thing will not last long and will have to be replaced, so not very good value for money. Very disappointing.

Mar 27,2024We ordered a Deluxe 4m x 3m Gazebo it has been up for nearly 4 years now the Gazebo is very sturdy. 2 panels were damged in high winds, their customer service and aftercare are excellent they have offered to replace them for no charge, thank you Imira. All parts are really sturdy and the assembly instructions were very easy to follow

Would recommend the storage bags which are also good quality and nice and strong. After sales service is also excellent. Highly recommended.

Mar 19,2024We received the Rendezvous/paradise Deluxe 3m x 3m Gazebo from TOOLPORT. The quality of the gazebo is fantastic. All parts really sturdy and the assembly instructions were very easy to follow. We had it up and ready to use within a day. The curtains that go with it are very good quality material and zip together for privacy and protection from the elements. We have embellished ours with some nice outdoor lights. It’s a lovely place to chill after a hard days work. Their customer service and aftercare are excellent too. I would recommend their gazebos to anyone.

Mar 11,2024Purchased a 4x8m marquee (PE 350 N) for £380 via Ebay, six months ago in the UK. The advertisement claims that “ the high-quality click system is made from fully galvanised steel construction is protected against corrosion. All tarpaulins are made of PE 350 N material, they are UV resistant and 100% waterproof. The welded seams offer optimal protection against water penetration”. The truth is these products are not really fit for purpose. They should be advertised as once use products because that is the reality. The one I purchased has completely collapsed at just 6 months old. The company are based in Germany so they are well aware of the weather experienced in all these surrounding EU countries. The company state that the products are not wind tested or tested for snow loads. Why? Do these tents conform to any EU or UK safety standards if that is the case? The fully galvanised poles have all snapped in half where they join with the next, and the tarpaulin is extremely weak, the poles have just ripped through it as they have snapped. As the company is based in Germany, there are no consumer rights that can be exercised from the UK, therefore the sellers know they cannot be held accountable for their sub-standard products that are specifically designed to be misleading. The money paid for these cheap materials are highly inflated, given how basic they are. Stay away from this company if you don’t want to be ripped off and scammed!! Stick to buying in the UK for these types of products, at least then you will be covered by UK Laws if anything were to go wrong.
