Jun 21,2024Complete and utter disaster I ordered a 12x6 premium marquee in May for an event on 29 June The omens were not good - the delivery failed to turn up on the appointed days - first 14 May, then 15, 16, 17 & 20 May, and then I was advised that they were not able to deliver and the order was to be picked up only to then discover that they turned up whilst I was on holiday and delivered it to a neighbour - the boxes were largely damaged and were dumped in my garage. When I came to do a full inventory last weekend 2 weeks ahead of the event (just in case) I discover that none of the connectors, feet, bolts etc. had been delivered. I emailed on Monday and had to chase on the phone on Tuesday and had to send through a second detailed list of all the missing components. Further chasing resulted in an email on 20/06 to say that the missing items had been collated and would be despatched on a next day delivery - phew I thought...... So today on 21/06 I received another battered box and immediately unpacked it to check that we had everything. Various of the bits were literally thrown in to the box, for example loose bolts, but worse is that again there are approximately 50% of the missing items which are still missing so I phoned Customer Service to be told that these bits will be at least 5 working days meaning that the marquee will not be ready for 29 June and we are now having to work out a contingency plan given that the weather forecast is for a high risk of rain. For the avoidance of any doubt my details are Order - 100729190 Invoice - 701027115 Customer Number - 2162476 The bits I received on the initial delivery were 31474 - 28 31108 - 48 31461 - 14 30059 - 14 30061 - 7 The bits I did not receive were 31110 - 4 31111 - 10 31470 - 2 31471 - 5 31164 - 10 31473 - 4 31456 - 2 31468 - 2 31457 - 10 31458 - 4 30044 - 4 30046 - 14 30047 - 54 31106 - 180 30384 - 28 30052 - 28 31459 - 1 30430 - 172 30429 - 26 30050 - 4 30051 - 14 After I received the delivery of the replacement items the following were still missing 31164 - 10 31473 - 4 31456 - 2 31468 - 2 31457 - 10 31458 - 4 31106 - 80 30384 - 28 30052 - 28 31459 - 1 30430 - 50 Given that this is neither fit for purpose as delivered and that there is no chance of the missing bits arriving tomorrow to erect it over the weekend as planned I have advised that I want an immediate full refund and for the marquee bits that I do have to be collected Unbelievably to add insult to injury I have been advised that all the bits need to go in the original boxes.... they were all/mostly badly damaged I advised.... no matter I am told they need to go back in those boxes.... My wife and I are now desperately in search for a hire company or worst case an available venue we can rent/hire for the night

Jun 13,2024I bought a 4x4 gazebo costing nearly £600 the frame is very sturdy unlike cheap ones we have bought before But the roof which is advertised as being 100% waterproof leaked like a sieve fair play they sent me a new one which I discovered has a small hole After contacting them yet again I’m told having a small hole won’t affect the waterproofing ….“really” ….finishing off the email with “ we’ve already sent you a replacement roof “ Their customer service is 0 Their attitude is 0 They should be called TINY Tough it’s now yours

Jun 13,2024After sale service was excellent thank you Jacob. I bought a tent back on 2018 which has been used many time but on 1 occasion one of the pole got damaged. I called them and Jacob helped sort out my problem with spare poles from there well stocked spares. It saved me buying a new marquee. Thsnk you.

Jun 12,2024Be wary of this company. They basically tell you their tents are for indoor use, and if used outside it invalidates the warranty. We used ours twice, the second time one of the legs bent and eventually snapped ruining the event we were at - despite tents, marquees and gazebos all around us who had no problem. Their response has been poor, no offer of repair, replacement or refund - would not entertain any dialogue at all and couldn't explain satisfactorily what 'wind' conditions if any would be acceptable (despite selling a tie down kit to use!). Update: Despite a glowing response how sorry they are and are going to reach out to us to provide a satisfactory solution here on Trust Pilot, as suspected we have not heard from them. Clearly the reply on Trust Pilot was to make them look good without actually doing anything to resolve the matter. As we said at the beginning - be wary of this outfit, their 'tents' are not fit for purpose. Update to the update: As of 26/06 House of Tents have still not contacted us, despite stating here how soon they would reach out to resolve this..... What an absolute shower.

Jun 05,2024An excellent garden gazebo from Houe of Tents. We were looking for a long time for a generous size garden gazebo - and we finally found it in House of Tents. It's 3x4 m, with zipped side panels. No more running away with the cushions when the rain comes or roasting in the summer, while you'd like to enjoy your outdoors. It's absolutely perfect. We bought ours in light "champagne colour, but it comes in various shades and sizes. The gazebo is truly waterproof, so it can be used throughout the year. Not being big fans of flying insects we additional purchased the mosquito nets, which are proving a great addition on the summer evenings. Delivery was fast and smooth and the customer service is always exceptional and prompt. Highly recommended product and company.

Jun 03,2024What a brilliant company! I had been on the lookout for a new canopy for our car club, and every quote we got was way over budget, until we found of House of Tents! For the quality of the goods and the excellent service, we were extremely impressed by the price. The material is perfect and the ease of putting up and down, makes our lives so much easier on an event day. The best bit is the bag with wheels! I love it, as I can move it myself without the need for help. Can't fault this company, from the initial email query through to the final invoice they have been outstanding. I'd highly recommend to anyone needing a canopy.

I was calling every day and I didn’t get my refund they told me they sent an email to a warehouse at three day ago and nobody reply yet which kind of team they are and which kind of people whose working in a warehouse who don’t reply his Head office Message They just wanna make a fraud with me. They don’t wanna give my money back. I suggest everybody never ever buy anything from this website. They are scammer.

May 30,2024Would give no stars if I could. Ordered a marquee for a party. Before ordering I emailed asking delivery time and was told 2/3 days. Went ahead and ordered 22 May. Received tracking numbers for 5 boxes from Dx on 23rd and was informed would be delivered 24th. Never arrived. Contacted company who rearranged for 28th. Never arrived. Numerous calls to the company who kept promising to call me back with information and nobody has ever called me back. Kept getting told they didn’t know where the order was as when they did know they would call me. Very rude and unprofessional customer service. Was told doesn’t matter how many times I ring it won’t get found any quicker. I have now received an email 9 days after ordering telling me that 1 of the boxes had been damaged and as this was the last 1 do I want to choose something else. Why it’s taken over a week to tell me this is beyond me. Had I known earlier I could have chosen something else. As my party I ordered for is tomorrow this is very inconvenient as wouldn’t get here on time. I requested a refund but have not received it yet or a reply. Would never order from this company again

Jun 25,2024Very helpful company, the heavy duty gazebo is really strong and sturdy. I use it as a market stall regularly and very happy with it. The canvas is strong and waterproof and I love the creak colour. I stand out from the rest and still let's light in. Great customer service too.
