Jul 09,2024Having read a number of positive and negative reviews. We purchased a 4m X 8m marquee. We have all seen Pop Up, and click and connect Gazebos bend , break and take off across the garden. This Marquee did exactly what it was purchased for and I am confident will be used for many years to come. We paid a little more for the Bolt together poles rather than any other “Click and connect “ construction and also opted for the thicker tarp material, but received a discount at checkout at time of ordering . The order arrived in three days and although the 3 Boxes where heavy and cardboard there was no damage. The contents of the boxes where inspected and counted on day of delivery and all items were accounted for . The pictorial instructions are simple and OK. The bolt together construction will take more time than a Click and connect , but is considerably more stable. The more people involved in the “ lift / raising “ the better suggest minimum of 1 person for each 2 m length but the construction of the components and even the tarpaulin installation can be a one person job with time and a cup of tea. Recommendations We live on the NW coast and average wind speed is between 15 to 20 MPH. With any “ Tent “ you need it to be secured. The company supplies Marquees with, or can supply additional truss and ground bar kits and securing kits. This will ensure the increased stability of a large Marquee and should be considered for long standing installation or forecast bad weather. We used six 5m long ratchet straps at the corners and middle and large U shaped pegs to increase stability as the supplied Guidelines and small pegs would not hold such a large structure in our location . We also used larger “hard ground” pegs for the upright legs and side panels. Our installation took 4 Hours and 3 cups of tea, and 4 people for the lift. The dismantle and pack up took 3 hours. We will get faster with practice and a chocolate cookie incentive . Summary The online ordering was simple and a phone call quickly resolved a payment issue ( my fault) The delivery was good and efficient . The bolt together construction was defiantly more stable and the thicker material was more robust than our old 3m x 9m “click and connect”. The Bungee ties are simple and very effective and can be used to hold up the side panels when rolled up. Tip : Attach the top part of the end panels before the “lift”, and ensure any wing nut is located in line with the poles and away from the tarpaulin !

Jul 04,2024We used house of tents to buy a marquee over ten years ago and it has been fantastic so we decided to try and purchase an additional gazebo from them. The delivery said 2-3working days but due to us having very unexpected wet weather for our daughter's 5th birthday party I called them at 9am on the Thursday morning to ask if there was anyway we could pay for faster delivery as we needed the gazebo for Sunday. The lady in custermer services just gave a flat bo and would not speak to anyone else about it to see if anything could be done. It's really disappointing given how quickly you can get deliveries from other companies (and the shipping partner they use does offer this service) that she wouldn't even check if this was possible - it was just a flat "no". **Update to add four stars**** Spoke to Matteo who has been extremely helpful with our situation and is chasing our order every step of the way. He is a credit to the company!

Jul 04,2024Received delivery of my tent and the packaging is non existent. Packaging of goods is really bad. The delivery DX Delivery are rubbish they left all the packaging open outside the property. Not sure if we are missing any pieces.

Jul 10,2024I bought a Sunset Delux Gazebo to replace our old hexagonal soft top gazebo. What a difference our new gazebo is sturdy and stands up to the wind and rain. The quality of gazebo frame is very good and was simple enough to erect following the manual, the curtains and nets are a good quality too. The few times I have called all the team have been very helpful especially Michael in Sales Support and Tim in the Fulfilment team keeping me updated with the delivery. I can't fault either the gazebo or service received - many thanks
