Delivered wrong package. Both items were 2 of 2 instead of being 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. Had people on site to erect but had to cancel and request missing package and collection of wrong package. A real pain and cost to me as I had to pay my erectors. Customer service were very good (Amira), who arranged for corrected delivery immediately.
The order was processed very promptly, delivery was on time and the driver was most helpful when unloading and helping us to store it in our preferred place. Item was well packaged and full instructions provided.
We bought the 6x8m - 3.0m Sides PVC “Industrial” Tent (Article no.: 93875) back in November. Even we also purchased their statics package and got it professionally installed, the canvas came off the first weekend of bad weather – which in England is every other weekend. When the installers came back to put the canvas back again, we noticed the welding in a couple of the pole connectors was broken… this is not an expected rip in the canvas or any other minor thing… after only over a month of usage THE WELDING of the structure broke! Being this a really serious hazard, we took the structure down immediately. At the same time, we called house of tents, already over the phone the person that took the call was totally dismissive and couldn’t care less. We sent the pictures for evidence by email and after a week no reply… I followed up and the call bounced in Spain – cause as you might guess they claim to be busy and not having enough staff – even the lady that took the call was a bit kinder, she explained that since we put it up, we couldn’t return it or get a refund. I mentioned repeatedly this is a quality and SAFETY issue, but they stick to their script and only offered to provide a replacement of the broken pieces and simply stopped replying when we insist this was not a minor issue. The only written reply I got was an email full of contradictory info… a product they advertised saying, I quote their website: “industrial grade”, “robust steel frame”, “very durable and stable - ideal for long-term use!” Or “protects from wind & rain - simply the best outdoor storage!” When there is a problem, they come back with things like “the product was not tested for wind and snow”, but right before saying “warranty does not cover damages caused by extreme weather conditions exceeding winds of more than 50 kilometres per hour”. The weather in the UK and most of Europe is ‘adverse’ most of the winter…so this product then is not fit for purpose in the market they are selling. So aside selling a product that not fit for purpose, they play big with FALSE ADVERTISING. Be aware since Brexit, none of the consumers offices (trading standards, UKICC, etc) get involved in this kind of cases. House of tents in based in Germany, the website has in their legal notice that for disputes you can reach out to the EU ODR, but this entity is not taking cases for goods bought in the UK since 2021…so basically you buy with them (or any other EU base vendor) at your own risk, and they are fully aware of it. With their customer service being beyond terrible, we had to reach out to our bank and present the case to get our money back. As you can imagine with the evidence we had and their behaviour it wasn’t hard to raise our case, but it is disgraceful to have to come to that due to such an irresponsible vendor. UPDATE (29/03/24) – a couple of things – THIS COMPANY IS WORST THAT I THOUGHT: 1) After I posted this experience HERE, they finally reached out to me talking about compensation and using a very decent and conciliatory language. 2) The above was destroyed with the reply they sent to the bank rejecting my request… after telling ME all the time they could not respond for weather-related damage (among other inconsistent things), they sent a letter to the bank implying we assembled the tents with missing components, no mention of the weather at all… of course also no mention about how awful they have handled the situation. It is clear they will do whatever it takes to avoid taking any responsibility for the defective items they supply. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!
EDIT - THE CS TEAM CONTACTED ME BUT NO OFFER OF COMPENSATION OR REFUND WAS MADE! STILL £5K OUT OF POCKET!! £5000 down & no tent to show for it. Sub standard materials, poor instructions, missing parts, parts that didnt fit, many many complaints to HoT, terrible customer service. STEER WELL CLEAR My 'Industrial tent' failed completely within 6 months. The only compensation offered was 10% off the purchase of a replacement!!

Solid,quality Gazebo. Easy to erect though needs 2 people and about 4 hours. Delivered next day which was superb.

Product delivered on time. No damage to packaging or contents. Structure took two people to erect and appears sturdy. I haven’t installed the curtains as yet. The structure is an enhancement to my sitting space in the garden. Very happy with it.
I purchased a pop up gazebo from this company and was really satisfied with the product when it arrived. Delivery was prompt. Unfortunately I left the gazebo up in a storm and it was badly damaged. I contacted 5hem to see if I could purchase a new frame (not the roof)however this was not possible but they gave me a discount when I ordered a new gazebo:the new gazebo had a fault with its roof but after contacting them they sent a new roof very quickly.The staff that I contacted on email were very prompt in replying and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this company
Ordering process was easy, website very informative and customer service was excellent. However, the delivery company used (DX) was worse than useless and made the whole purchasing experience into a real palava. In the end, it took about 10 days, at least 3 days waiting in for deliveries and numerous phone calls and emails to finally receive the complete order. So overall, though not entirely the fault of House of Tents, a frustrating experience. Would have been a 5-star review - they need to use a better delivery company.

Quite possibly the worst company I've ever dealt with. We purchased an 8x4m outdoor storage tent for our business at a cost of around £2000. The quality is very poor and clearly not fit for outdoor use despite being advertised as so. Shortly after constructing the tent, we started to experience issues with the product caused by sub par materials and design. I contacted Michael from House of Tents who you would initially believe to be helpful over the phone and they requested pictures of the issues which I gladly sent. Even though the tent had only been delivered and constructed for a short time, House of Tents completely refused to do anything about the issues. You'll see a common theme from other reviews left. The tent at this point was now having almost daily repairs and the front sliding door had to be completely disconnected and was not salvageable. Further complaints lead again, to complete refusal of any aid. I must also note, that a response from House of Tents takes around a dozen chase calls or e-mails. Requiring some sort of resolution, we decided foolishly to purchase parts from House of Tents to fix and improve the structure we currently had, at a further cost of over £1600. Just to be able to order these parts took months of chasing. When the order eventually arrived, the main component was missing. When this was queried I was told that this part was out of stock and not available for a further three months. Eventually reaching the end of my patience, I requested a return and refund of the items, to again be refused. We have had to now escalate this to a legal level to move forward. I cannot implore any potential customers enough, not to use House of Tents for any requirements you may have. Please find a different supplier and save yourself a huge amount of disappointment, hassle and money.
Bought a tent on line then 4 hours later cancelled through their written process and email. Zero customer service response or help with refund. Had to escalate to PayPal Never seen such a poor response. To make matters worse they now tried to remove this post saying I wasn’t a genuine customer…sent the invoice to Trust pilot. I think doubling down on bad customer service doesn’t look gooD.
