The service we received couldn't have been better, we ordered it on a Sunday & we received it on the Tuesday. They were very helpful when we had a query.

Jan 25,2023Terrible service !! I brought a tent from these people in November the box arrived in absolute pieces and due to that when I checked all the parts I found bits missing! I contacted them and they arranged to send the parts out to me. fast forward 4 weeks and guess what ! Still no spare part I have a half completed tent completely unusable after a few phone calls and a few emails I finally get told it’s due to customs (that’s the excuse I would use if I didn’t bother to send them) so I asked for a refund they didn’t want to pay for return shipping so offered me a partial refund but I didn’t receive it . I opened a PayPal dispute with them and then finally got a call offering me a slightly higher partial refund 2 weeks go and still no refund it is now January and I have wasted nearly 2 months of my life trying to sort the issue out with absolutely no joy . If you want a good customer service you should avoid these guys at all costs. Not only is it a waste of time but it’s also very frustrating when you had an urgent use for the tent in the first place. Part 2 I have seen that you have responded to me review so thought it fair I have my right to reply. I didn’t mention the full refund that PayPal has awarded me you are correct on that point but you have forgotten to mention that even with the refund from PayPal you are still chasing me for the money. I have received a invoice in the post asking me to pay the money back to you! I called and spoke to you again regarding the invoice and have now received a email today again requesting that I send you the money or send back the items and you would issue me with a credit note for your online shop ! So again your customer service skills are greatly lacking I have wasted countless hours now on phone calls emails ect trying to resolve the issues I have had been nothing but fair and polite in every interaction we have had. Your reply to my original review is patronising and trying to make it look like I have hidden something or lied in someway. When I spoke to you on the phone, I asked you myself did you think my review was fair and truthful you agreed it was fair and truthful, but yet you still come on and try to discredit the review. Unfortunately at this point I no longer want anything more to do with toolport/house of tents. In future I suggest when you make countless errors and fail to keep to promises on multiple occasions that you just take it on the chin and refund the money rather than trying to play games.

Jan 24,2023The order arrived the next day - 4 days earlier than expected. There was a problem with a missing box which was handled immediately and the replacement dispatched for the next day. I was extremely impressed with the customer service. The marquee is exactly what I was expecting, and is ideal for what we require.

Dec 07,2022I purchased the 3.3m x 9.6m garage, Whilst I had a few parts missing this was most likely due to the courier that delivered the boxes all opened up. However.. do not let this put you off buying from house of tents. I was supported better than I have ever known by Henning (sales support manager) and he arranged all the parts to be sent out without any issues whatsoever. I really can't praise their customer service higher if I tried. Whilst I am not yet fully assembled I have all the parts ready and I really am looking forward to having the garage fully assembled.

Nov 29,2022My mini Marquee has managed to weather 3 years of storms, 4 cats scaling its roof, as well as an active child racing round it!! It is now in need of some replacement parts, I dropped these guys an email and their service team jumped on my requirements and very quickly identified which new parts were needed and processed my requirements by return. Thank you for a fast and great service and look forward to dealing with you again in the future.

The worst rubbish and waste of money I have ever spent!..bent in half and blew over after 1 windy night.been told by Diana at Toolport it isn't guaranteed against weather and has sent emails basically laughing at the situation. I have informed trading standards, my credit card company and eBay who have said they are dealing with it.I will be going to the small claims court. Inferior goods not of merchantable quality supplied by people who are happy to rip people off and laugh at them. Disgusting! Update due to your response..the tent wasn’t used in adverse weather conditions it was normal wind and rain commensurate with the time of year,I live in a town in the north west of England,not the outer Hebrides or the North Pole..so it wasn’t severe weather conditions at all it was poor quality that was it’s downfall.

On two occasions where I have have had a query, the issue was dealt with within items were replaced without delay. When problems do occur I would rather deal with a company that responds professionally and speedily as happened here. Very pleased with service and response. I will stay with this company.

Feb 16,2023Basically the products are not fit for purpose.. it arrived at my farm in Portugal, the pallet disheveled and parts missing, the instructions are ambiguous covering various model designs and in fact had the wrong number of parts allocated to the one I purchased. We installed extra huge ground mounts, even made extra pole supports and over roof straps which proved useless as the frames are not strong enough for the cover weight. A mild wind caused the main frame to snap. Now they say we erected it wrongly even though their instructions are totally flawed and warranty denied.. Folks… walk away from this product.. we went the extra mile to make this wind safe but it’s really not good gear… lawyers will be engaged..
