Aug 01,2024The gazebo was delivered efficiently, however five of the black plastic joints/fittings were cracked and damaged. After sending photos of the damage via email the replacement parts were sent by courier, and we were required to replace them ourselves. We are pleased with the overall result, but regret the inconvenience of a damaged original item.

Aug 01,2024We ordered a 3m x 6m tent which we are really happy with. One of the struts snapped on the second use by I contacted House of tents and they have kindly sorted that out for me so our gazebo will be good as new. Its easy to erect and provides great shade.

Hanna, talked us through the solution and sending replacement out. The gazebo is perfect for our garden so it doesn’t matter what the weather does rain or shine, excellent quality product.

Jul 25,2024AVOID AT ALL COST - we bought a pop up gazebo that came damaged. Their initial response was to send replacement parts for the frame damage but not the canopy, stating the a made up 30km wind on the day we opened the gazebo would be the cause…even the weather reports on the day does not even come close to their made up story! They subsequently refuse any liability nor want to explain how they come to their conclusion. It’s always a testament on how a company operates when things go wrong and it’s clear that this one needs to be avoided! Update: as with most reviews that are “negative”, house of tents responds with a generic comment and you never hear from them as stated in their message! Don’t be fooled!

Jul 24,2024Only part of the tent delivered. Customer service ignores all emails unless you use PayPal to communicate. They blame logistics when it is their own warehouse that is the failure. I now have £1000 useless heap of canvas and poles! Edit - Yaqoob kindly sorted out my missing box and resolved to issues.

Jul 23,2024Whilst assembling our garden gazebo this spring, I noticed that one of the parts had a broken weld and would inevitably come completely apart before the summer is over. After exchanging a couple of e-mails with the after-sales support department at House of Tents, a replacement part was promptly despatched and is now fitted to the gazebo. I cannot fault the service I have received from this company.

Jul 19,2024We had a really bad experience with this company. They delivered the marquee in good time but when we started assembled it we found they had delivered only half the order. I called them and they said they would send the rest of the order the following day which they did except it was a duplicate of what we already had. When I called they said that one box was out of stock and would have to be ordered and brought in from Germany. Now it was too late as we needed the marquee for the Saturday as it was my husband’s birthday and we were expecting 100 people. Luckily the rain held off. This has been a fiasco from start to finish. They agreed to refund the cost to us after they had collected the items. Collection was arranged for today as we will be away for three weeks. The transport company were meant to ring us one hour before arriving but forgot to do so, when they arrived they knocked on the door and when there was no answer drove off. There was actually someone here all day, they were at the back working in the garden. If the driver had bothered to walk down to the garden he would have seen the items leaning against the wall and could have picked them up. Now through no fault of our own we will have to wait another three weeks for a refund, you couldn’t make it up. Never again would I use this totally unprofessional company.

Jul 15,2024Bought a 6mx12m professional marquee. The Service Team at House of Tents were very helpful giving information and advice on best marquee for us. The marquee is made from quality materials and the poles and fabric roof and sides are strong, and it has a fire certificate. Ordering and delivery are easy and quick and there is service support aftersales. If looking to buy a small tent or a marquee then I recommend House of Tents for excellent quality product and service.

Jul 14,2024I needed a few spare parts, a couple of legs & cross members, I was quoted more than one and half times the cost of a complete new gazebo, which is ridiculous. So my advice is, shop around, there are plenty of cheaper, better quality gazebos out there, from companies who sell (&advertise) spares at a reasonable prices - and you will need spares at some point. RE:Reply. The reply is standard corporate meaningless fluff that makes the company look worse. Plenty of retailers lists spares. so buy from one of them.

Jul 12,2024I ordered a marquee in a rush when the weather took a turn for the worse and my kid’s birthday garden party stood to be ruined. They delivered a marquee to me in three working days and followed up with an email to say they are there to assist if there are any delays - I was grateful for their support. The marquee was straightforward to install and the build quality seems great and it looks beautiful.

Jul 12,2024Excellent service, purchased a marquee for staff parties last year, really easy to erect, unfortunately some poles were damaged by high winds the following day, purchasing the replacement parts and storage bags was easy, also purchased the storm straps, used again this year, first class service would recommend to anyone looking for an events marquee.
