WhatsApp connection hasn't worked for several weeks now, yet the website still suggests the same number. Since Christmas charger or rather charging has been connecting and disconnecting constantly. When I have been able to speak to hypervolt, they blame Scottish Power as the electricity provider and SP blame the charger manufacturer. Used to be good, used to be easy to communicate with them, I wouldn't buy again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone

Hypervolt are genuinely an easy company to deal with. From the start of my initial phonecall, the process was explained very clearly and a pre-arranged installation date was arranged. Michael the engineer arrived at my house and his installation was neat, tidy and he cleaned up and disposed of the waste Michael took the time to explain how to download and use the easy App so i could begin to recharge my vehicle. Hypervolt was recommended by Octopus Energy (my utility provider) as one of 3No chargers to consider using, and with my Intelligent Octopus Go tarriff, it means that its only costing me £0.07pence oer kw hour to charge my car which is almost a 25% reduction / saving to what i would normally pay The Hypervolt Home 3 Pro charger is quite simply a great piece of equipment to use and coupled with my reduced Octopus energy tarrif it really meets my requirements

Charger was installed in approximately 2.5 weeks, straightforward process from order to installation by local partner company with good communication throughout. Charger looks great, it is easy to use with a good app.
In December 2024, about 6 weeks after having a charger installed it stopped working. Even before that the app hardly worked so it wasn’t a great experience to start with. After reporting the problem I was told that the charger would be replaced. 5 weeks later I still don’t have a new charger and emails for a follow-up have been ignored. A WhatsApp message said the charger was being sent to DPD, but still nothing and no idea when someone is going to fit the charger if it ever does arrive. The steps you need to go through before installation are also far more than any other firm asks for (e.g. had to provide a floorplan and draw where the power cable should run, film a video of the route, and more. Then the installers didn’t even follow that anyway). Had a Hive charger on my previous house for over 2 years without a single problem. Go with them instead. I regret investing in these via Crowdcube too.

Initially I thought the Home Pro 3 would be a great product, with the latest upto date features as well as intergrating Octopus Intelligent features. On actual use though the intergration with Octopus is very poor, and turns what is a smart charger into a dumb charger. This is because, once charging is complete,the power to the charger is shut off with no way of getting power to the car to complete any preconditioning of the car or battery without using the battery itself, therefore negating the fact of a full charge before you leave. Precondtioning is a fundamental function of any EV, not just for defrosting the car, but protecting the battery. I would suggest looking at Ohme which I understand has a preconditioning function, I wish I has stuck with my orginal choice of Ohme. Just to add that Customer service was of very little help in looking into this issue.
Brilliant product. Great app. We had an issue with our internet and this caused an issue controlling the charger- Hypervolt gave me simple instructions on how to fix by WhatsApp at the weekend. Great service. Would buy again and would recommend

Great product and amazing service. Recently had Hypervolt Home 3 Pro EV Charger installed. The process was straight forward - order, virtual survey, book install date, install and then post install followup. Couldn't have gone any smoother. The product is just as I expected, great product, great quality and does exactly what I need it to do. Interfaces seamlessly with Octopus Energy EV Tariff for reduced charging costs. Couldn't ask for anything more.
This is my second Hypervolt, any issues are resolved fast and the sales team (Stefano) have been very proactive in sorting my new 3 pro. Thanks
Easy to use advice on whatsapp
We have had a Hypervolt EV charger for nearly 2 years. Nice looking product and we like that we can see the status of the charger with the coloured lighting. Any queries we have had and our interaction we have had with the Hypervolt support team has been excellent. Our recent change of energy supplier and intelligent tariff meant that our EV was not been fully charged. The Hypervolt team kept us fully informed of their investigations into the issue and progress to resolve. All working well now and special thanks to Daniel on his excellent customer service.
The unit is solid, practical and looks great. The setup process was straightforward. Where the EV unit is located the WiFi connection is weak and had problem with connecting to the app. This was resolved by connecting an ethernet cable to the EV charger. The app is easy to use. The Hypervolt recommended installers were professional and did a good job.
Excellent product and customer service. Their staff, Daniel is really helpful to resolve the problem and keep following my status!
